WE MUST LEARN TO CHOOSE LOVE
DO YOU HATE THOSE PEOPLE IN THE GOVERNMENT THAT ARE DOING ALL THOSE WRONG THINGS AGAINST US? I DON'T EVEN WANT TO MENTION ALL OF THEM BUT YOU KNOW WHAT I AM TALKING ABOUT. DO YOU HATE THE MUSLIMS THAT ARE KILLING THE CHRISTIANS?
I WILL HAVE TO ADMIT ALTHOUGH I KNOW IT IS WRONG TO HATE, IT IS HARD FOR ME NOT TO HATE ALL OF THEM. IF I COULD JUST TAKE MATTHEW 5:43 OUT OF CONTEXT AND GO WITH IT, I WOULD FIND IT EASY TO DO. HERE IS WHAT IT SAYS, "Ye have heard that it hath been said, Thou shalt love thy neighbour, and hate thine enemy." HOWEVER, WHEN YOU CONTINUE ON WITH THE NEXT 5 VERSES, IT TURNS THE WHOLE THING UPSIDE DOWN. JUST READ WHAT IT SAYS AND THIS IS JESUS TALKING, 44-48 "But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. For if ye love them which love you, what reward have ye? do not even the publicans the same? And if ye salute your brethren only, what do ye more than others? do not even the publicans so? Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which is in heaven is perfect."
LOVING AND HATING ARE CHOICES WE HAVE TO MAKE AND WE HAVE TO CHOOSE TO LOVE THESE PEOPLE BECAUSE THAT IS WHAT JESUS TELLS US TO DO. OH, WE COULD DO OUR OWN THING BUT THAT WOULD NOT BE WISE. SEE WHAT ROMANS 6:16 SAYS "Know ye not, that to whom ye yield yourselves servants to obey, his servants ye are to whom ye obey; whether of sin unto death, or of obedience unto righteousness?" I DON'T KNOW ABOUT YOU BUT I DON'T LIKE THAT PHRASE "SIN UNTO DEATH:. I THINK I AM GONG TO OBEY JESUS.
WE HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT JESUS DIED FOR THESE PEOPLE THE SAME AS HE DID FOR YOU AND ME. HE CHOSE TO LOVE US WHILE WE WERE YET SINNERS AND HE LOVES THEM TOO. HE MIGHT HATE THE SIN BUT HE LOVES THE SINNER. WHAT WE HAVE TO DO IS PRAY FOR THEM THAT THEIR EYES WILL BE OPENED TO THE TRUTH OF GOD'S WORD. THEN AND ONLY THEN WILL THE WORLD BE A BETTER PLACE. PLEASE PRAY FOR THEM ALL TODAY.
