I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

BEING BORN AGAIN
CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT THE JEWS, BACK IN JESUS' DAYS, THOUGHT WHEN THEY HEARD THE TERN "BORN-AGAIN? IN JOHN 3, NICODEMUS EVEN ASKED "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" JESUS SAID TO HIM "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." WE, IN THIS DAY AND AGE, DON'T SEEM TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS. WE KNOW WHAT BEING BORN-AGAIN MEANS.
HOWEVER, THERE ARE THOSE WHO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH 2 CORINTHIANS 5:17 WHICH SAYS "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away ; behold ,all things are become new." THEY SAY "WHEN I WAS BORN-AGAIN, I THOUGHT ALL THINGS BECAME NEW, AND I STILL LOOK THE SAME. THIS IS TALKING ABOUT OUR BORN-AGAIN SPIRIT WHICH BECOMES JUST JUST LIKE JESUS' SPIRIT. (1 JOHN 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect , that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is , so are we in this world.) IT ISN'T OUR BODIES THAT BECAME NEW BUT OUR SPIRIT AND WITH JESUS, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, AND NOW WE CAN WORK ON OUR BODIES AND MINE NEEDS A LOT OF WORK. OUR BODIES ARE THE TEMPLE OF THE HOLY GHOST, YOU KNOW? (1ST CORINTHIANS 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?) I AM SURE ALL OF OUR TEMPLES COULD USE A LITTLE "T.L.C.". I KNOW MINE SURE COULD.
WE ALL SHOULD START ACTING LIKE WE ARE BORN AGAIN. SHOWING NON-BELIEVERS IS A LOT MORE EFFECTIVE THAN JUST TELLING THEM BUT WE NEED TO DO BOTH. WON'T YOU DO THIS TODAY?
