I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

ARE YOU HEALED?
ARE YOU HEALED?
HAVE YOU EVER HEARD SOMEONE SAY THAT THEY ARE HEALED, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, WHEN THEY DON'T LOOK LIKE IT? I AM ONE OF THOSE PEOPLE. I KNOW THAT I AM HEALED, EVEN THOUGH IT MIGHT NOT LOOK OR FEEL LIKE I AM. I DON'T REALLY CARE WHAT I LOOK LIKE OR WHAT ANYONE THINKS, I DON'T EVEN CARE WHAT MY BODY SAYS OR EVEN THE DOCTORS SAY, JESUS SAYS THAT I AM HEALED AND THAT IS ENOUGH FOR ME. HE HAS NEVER LIED TO ME YET AND NEVER WILL.
WHY WOULD I TELL SOMEONE THAT I AM SICK WHEN JESUS SAYS THAT I AM HEALED? WHY WOULD ANY CHRISTIAN SAY THAT? THAT WOULD BE CALLING JESUS A LIAR, WOULDN'T IT? 1ST PETER 2:24 SAYS "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." IT DOESN'T SAY WE ARE GOING TO BE HEALED, BUT "WERE HEALED".
SOME PEOPLE HAVE SAID THAT THIS IS HEALING US FROM OUR SINS. IN MATTHEW 9:1-7 JESUS SPOKE OF HEALING AND FORGIVENESS OF SINS AS BEING THE SAME. LET'S LOOK AT WHAT HE SAID "And he entered into a ship, and passed over, and came into his own city. And, behold, they brought to him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; thy sins be forgiven thee. And, behold, certain of the scribes said within themselves, This man blasphemeth. And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. And he arose, and departed to his house."
DID YOU KNOW THAT AROUND SIX HUNDRED YEARS BEFORE JESUS WAS EVEN BORN, ISAIAH PROPHESIED ABOUT THIS IN ISAIAH 53:5 WHERE HE SAID "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." IT LOOKS LIKE THIS IS TALKING ABOUT OUR SICKNESSES.
LET ME SAY THIS BEFORE I GO ON. I DON'T HAVE ANYTHING AGAINST DOCTORS. IF IT WASN'T FOR THEM, A LOT OF CHRISTIANS WOULD DIE BEFORE THEY REALLY BELIEVED THAT THEY ARE HEALED BY THE STRIPES OF JESUS. SO KEEP GOING TO YOUR DOCTOR UNTIL JESUS TELLS YOU, WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, FOR YOU TO STOP.
NOW, WHEN YOU PRAY FOR SOMEONE AND NOTHING HAPPENS, DON'T GET DISCOURAGED. SOME PEOPLE ENJOY THE ATTENTION THEY GET FROM BEING SICK AND IF THEY DON'T WANT TO BELIEVE THEY ARE HEALED, JESUS WILL NOT GO AGAINST HIS WORD BECAUSE HE GAVE US A FREE WILL. WE CAN CHOOSE NOT TO BE HEALED AND THERE IS NOTHING HE CAN DO ABOUT THAT. SO, LIKE I SAID, DON'T GET DISCOURAGED AND STOP PRAYING FOR PEOPLE. WHEN YOU PRAY FOR THEM, YOU HAVE DONE YOUR PART AND LEAVE THE REST UP TO JESUS.
SO, WHEN YOU ASK ME HOW I AM DOING AND I TELL YOU THAT I AM HEAL, IN THE NAME OF JESUS, PLEASE BELIEVE ME. NOW YOU WILL KNOW WHERE I AM COMING FROM. I BELIEVE GOD'S WORD ABOVE EVERYTHING.
