I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD
HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT WHAT "WALKING IN THE LIGHT" REALLY MEANS? IT MEANS WALKING IN JESUS. JESUS SAYS IN JOHN 8:12 "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life." ARE YOU WALKING IN JESUS?
YOU KNOW, WALKING IN THE LIGHT DOESN'T MEAN WE WON'T SIN. AS MUCH AS WE TRY NOT TO SIN, WE ALL FALL SHORT AND TELL A (LITTLE WHITE) LIE OR THINK NOTHING ABOUT TAKING SOMETHING FROM THE OFFICE THAT IS NOT OURS LIKE PENCILS OR PAPER CLIPS. WE HAVE GOTTEN SO USED TO DOING THINGS LIKE THIS THAT IT DOESN'T EVER REGISTER IN OUR BRAINS THAT IT IS SINNING. THE GOOD THING IS THAT THESE SINS ARE NOT BEING CHARGED AGAINST US. WHEN JESUS DIED FOR OUR SINS, HE DIED FOR OUR PAST, PRESENT AND THE FUTURE SINS WE WILL COMMIT. HE TOOK CARE OF SIN ALTOGETHER.
LOOK WHAT JOHN SAYS IN 1ST JOHN 2:2 "And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world." JOHN IS TALKING ABOUT JESUS AND HE IS TALKING TO BELIEVERS WHEN HE SAYS "AND NOT FOR OURS ONLY". THEN HE GOES ON TO SAY "BUT ALSO FOR THE SINS OF THE WHOLE WORLD". THIS DOES NOT GIVE US A LICENSE TO GO OUT AND SIN WHENEVER WE WANT TO THOUGH. IF YOU ARE BELIEVING THAT, I DOUBT THAT YOU ARE REALLY BORN AGAIN. WHEN WE DO SIN WE NEED TO ASK GOD TO FORGIVE US FOR THAT SIN AND THE FORGIVENESS THAT HE HAS ALREADY PROVIDED WILL COVER THAT SIN.
NOW LET'S GET BACK TO WALKING IN THE LIGHT. JESUS SAID IN JOHN 12:46-50 "I am come a light into the world, that whosoever believeth on me should not abide in darkness. And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world. He that rejecteth me, and receiveth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the same shall judge him in the last day. For I have not spoken of myself; but the Father which sent me, he gave me a commandment, what I should say, and what I should speak. And I know that his commandment is life everlasting: whatsoever I speak therefore, even as the Father said unto me, so I speak."
JESUS SAID THAT IN THE LAST DAY THAT YOU WOULD BE JUDGED BY GOD IF YOU HAVE REJECTED JESUS. HOWEVER, IF THIS IS YOU, I HAVE GOOD NEWS FOR YOU. ALL YOU HAVE TO DO IS ACCEPT HIM AS YOUR SAVIOR AND THERE WILL BE NO JUDGEMENT FOR YOU.
JESUS TOOK ALL OF OUR JUDGEMENT TO THE CROSS AND DIED SO WE COULD BE FREE. IF YOU DON'T DO ANYTHING FOR YOURSELF FOR THE REST OF YOUR LIFE, DON'T MISS THIS OPPORTUNITY. YOU CAN DO IT RIGHT THERE WHERE YOU ARE. JUST BELIEVE IN HIM, RECEIVE HIM AS YOUR SAVIOR AND LET HIM TAKE CONTROL OF YOUR LIFE. GREAT THINGS WILL BE IN STORE FOR YOU AND HE IS WAITING.
