TO BE PLEASED WITH OR TO REGARD WITH AFFECTION ON ACCOUNT OF SOME QUALITIES WHICH EXCITE PLEASING SENSATIONS OR DESIRES OF GRATIFICATION. IS WHAT THE DICTIONARY SAYS ABOUT LOVE.
THE BIBLE SAYS THAT "GOD IS LOVE" AND HE THAT DWELLS IN LOVE, DWELLS IN GOD, AND GOD IN HIM. 1ST JOHN 4:17 SAYS "Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world." NOT ONLY IN HEAVEN BUT ALSO IN THIS WORLD. AN EVANGELIST ONCE DESCRIBED LOVE AS "THE DOME OF THE TEMPLE OF THE GRACES" AND AS "THE CROWNS WORN BY THE TRIUNE GOD". THERE IS NO WAY WE CAN DO WHAT GOD WANTS US TO DO WITHOUT LOVE. DO YOU THINK YOU JUST ALL OF A SUDDEN STARTED LOVING GOD? VERSE 19 OF 1ST JOHN SAYS "We love him, because he first loved us."
THE BIBLE HAS A LOT TO SAY ABOUT LOVE. ARE YOU FEARFUL? LOVE CAN TAKE CARE OF THAT BECAUSE IT SAYS IN 1ST JOHN 4:18 There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear. DO YOU LOVE YOUR BROTHER? LOOK AT 1ST JOHN:4:20-21 If a man say, I love God, and hateth his brother, he is a liar: for he that loveth not his brother whom he hath seen, how can he love God whom he hath not seen? And this commandment have we from him, That he who loveth God love his brother also.
LOVE IS GREAT BUT LOVE CAN ALSO BE A SNARE. THE OLD SAYING "MONEY IS THE ROOT OF ALL EVIL" IS NOT A COMPLETE STATEMENT. 1ST TIMOTHY 6:10 SAYS "For the love of money is the root of all evil": BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU LOVE BUT DON'T EVER STOP LOVING. WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW MUCH GOD LOVES US. IT IS BEYOND OUR COMPREHENSION. THE BIBLE EVEN SAYS THIS IN 1ST CORINTHIANS 2:9 But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.
REJOICE AND GIVE THANKS TO GOD FOR HIS LOVE, BECAUSE GOD SEES US THE WAY HE SEES JESUS. JUST REMEMBER WHAT IT SAYS IN 1ST JOHN 4:15-17 "Whosoever shall confess that Jesus is the Son of God, God dwelleth in him, and he in God. And we have known and believed the love that God hath to us. God is love; and he that dwelleth in love dwelleth in God, and God in him. Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world."
I JUST WANT ALL OF YOU TO KNOW THAT I DO LOVE YOU AND PRAY FOR YOU DAILY. I DON'T HAVE TO CALL YOUR NAME SPECIFICALLY, I CAN JUST PRAY FOR ALL OF MY FACEBOOK FRIENDS THAT GOD WILL BLESS THEM IN THE WAY THEY NEED BLESSING AND KEEP THEM SAFE.
