THE DICTIONARY SAYS TRUTH IS : " The true or actual state of a matter: Conformity with fact or reality; verity: A verified or indisputable fact, proposition, principle, or the like "
LET'S SEE WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS ABOUT TRUTH. FOR ONE, THE DEVIL IS NOT TRUTH. "JOHN 8:44 Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do . He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth , because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." IT SEEMS THAT THE OPPOSITE OF TRUTH IS A LIE AND THAT THE DEVIL IS A LIAR.
WHAT ABOUT TRUTH? WE KNOW THAT IT COMES FROM JESUS. "JOHN 1:17 For the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus Christ." WE KNOW THAT IT WILL SET YOU FREE. "JOHN 8:32 And ye shall know the truth , and the truth shall make you free." WE KNOW THAT IT IS A SPIRIT. "JOHN 15:26 But when the Comforter is come , whom I will send unto you from the Father, even the Spirit of truth , which proceedeth from the Father, he shall testify of me." AND THE BIBLE SAYS JESUS, AND HIS WORD, IS TRUTH. "JOHN 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way , the truth , and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." AND "JOHN 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth : thy word is truth ."
NOW, HOW CAN YOU KNOW THIS TRUTH? THERE IS ONLY ONE WAY THAT I KNOW OF AND THAT IS TO GET INTO YOUR BIBLE AND START STUDYING. IT IS ALL IN THERE. ALL THE TRUTHS ABOUT SALVATION, HEALING AND EVERYTHING ELSE YOU COULD POSSIBLY NEED TO KNOW TO LIVE A PRODUCTIVE AND HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS LIFE.
LIKE I HAVE SAID BEFORE, IT IS OUR INSTRUCTION BOOK ON LIFE FROM GOD, HIMSELF. NEED HEALING ? "1ST PETER 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." NEED TO PROSPER ? "3RD JOHN 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth" HAVE STRESS ? "1ST PETER 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you." WANT YOUR NEEDS MET ? " PHILIPPIANS 4 :19 But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." IT IS ALL IN THERE AND ALL WE HAVE TO DO IS READ IT AND BELIEVE IT AND ACCEPT IT. I AM ACCEPTING ALL OF THIS....HOW ABOUT YOU?
