"GOD LOVES YOU THE SAME AS HE LOVES JESUS" BY DAVID MCMILLEN
DO YOU KNOW JUST HOW MUCH GOD LOVES YOU? HE ACTUALLY LOVES YOU AS MUCH AS HE LOVES JESUS. THAT IS WHAT WE HEAR JESUS SAYS WHEN HE IS TALKING TO GOD IN JOHN 17:22-23 WHERE HE SAYS, "And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me." THAT SHOULD MAKE YOU WANT TO REJOICE.
HAVE YOU TOLD HIM TODAY THAT YOU LOVE HIM? WE SHOULD BE TELLING HIM ALL THE TIME FOR WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR US. DOESN'T IT MAKE YOU FEEL GOOD WHEN SOMEONE, ESPECIALLY YOUR CHILDREN, TELLS YOU THAT THEY LOVE YOU? WELL, I WOULD THINK IT MAKES GOD, JESUS AND HOLY SPIRIT FEEL GOOD WHEN THEY HEAR IT FROM US.
IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW MUCH WE MESS UP, THEY STILL LOVE US. BECAUSE OF JESUS, GOD DOES NOT SEE OUR SINS. THIS IS WHY WE CAN GO DIRECTLY TO HIM WITH OUR PROBLEMS. THE BIBLE SAYS THAT AS JESUS IS, SO ARE WE IN THIS WORLD, NOT WHEN WE GET TO HEAVEN. (1ST JOHN 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect, that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is, so are we in this world.) PAUL TELLS US, IN ROMANS 8:38-39, THAT NOTHING CAN SEPARATE US FROM THAT LOVE HE HAS FOR US BECAUSE WE, WHO ARE BORN AGAIN, ARE IN CHRIST JESUS. "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."
WHEN YOU ARE FEELING DOWN, JUST REMEMBER HOW MUCH YOU ARE LOVED AND IT WILL TAKE ALL THE CARES OF THIS WORLD AWAY. I LIKE WHAT ANDREW WOMMACK ONCE SAID, "GOD LOVES US SO MUCH I'LL BET HE HAS PICTURES OF US ON HIS REFRIGERATOR".
