"JESUS ANSWERING PRAYERS" BY DAVID MCMILLEN
DO YOU HAVE PRAYERS THAT HAVEN'T BEEN ANSWERED? YOU JUST THINK THEY HAVEN'T BEEN ANSWERED IF YOU PRAYED ACCORDING TO GOD'S WILL. GOD ANSWERS ALL PRAYERS THAT ARE ASKED THE RIGHT WAY. LOOK AT MATTHEW 7:7-8 WHERE JESUS SAYS " Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. " HE DIDN'T SAY "ASK AND IT MIGHT BE GIVEN YOU". DON'T GIVE UP BECAUSE YOUR ANSWER COULD BE MANIFESTED JUST AROUND THE CORNER.
HERE ARE THINGS YOU SHOULD KNOW WHEN YOU ARE PRAYING. LOOK AT THESE TWO SCRIPTURES IN THE BOOK OF JOHN.
IN JOHN 16:23 JESUS SAID "Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.
IN JOHN 14:13 JESUS SAID "And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son."
DO YOU SEE THE MAIN FOCUS OF THESE....."ASK IN MY (JESUS) NAME". THERE IS POWER IN THAT NAME. I LOVE WHAT IT SAYS IN Philippians 2:9-11 Therefore God has highly exalted him and bestowed on him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. EVERY KNEE SHALL BOW!!!!! THAT GETS ME EXCITED.
ANYWAY, JUST REMEMBER THIS IS ONLY PART OF HAVING YOUR PRAYERS ANSWERED. WHAT I WROTE LAST MONTH ALSO MUST BE DONE.
"READ WHAT JESUS SAYS IN MARK 11:24 "What things soever ye desire , when ye pray , believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them." IF YOU PRAY FOR THE SAME THING OVER AND OVER AGAIN THEN YOU ARE NOT BELIEVING YOU HAVE RECEIVED IT. JUST BELIEVE. REMEMBER HE SAYS "YOU SHALL" HAVE THEM. HE DIDN'T SAY IMMEDIATELY. GOD HAS PERFECT TIMING. JUST TRUST HIM AND SEE HIS POWER. HE LOVES YOU AND WANTS THE BEST FOR YOU. JUST PRAISE AND THANK HIM AND ALWAYS HAVE FORGIVENESS IN YOUR HEART.
