I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

"IT IS GOD'S WILL TO HEAL" BY DAVID MCMILLEN
IN SOME OF MY EARLIER MESSAGES, I HAVE MENTIONED THE SCRIPTURE 1ST PETER 2:24 (Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.) AND I WOULD LIKE TO SAY SOMETHING ELSE ABOUT THAT SCRIPTURE. I HAVE WRITTEN ABOUT THIS BEFORE BUT FEEL IT NEEDS TO BE REPEATED. WHEN YOU PRAY FOR GOD TO HEAL YOU OR SOMEONE ELSE AND SAY "IF IT BE THY WILL", TO ME, THAT IS LIKE A SLAP IN THE FACE TO JESUS. JESUS TOOK ALL OF OUR SICKNESS AND DISEASES IN HIS BODY BY THE STRIPES HE TOOK FOR US. SOME PEOPLE SAY THIS IS TALKING ABOUT BEING HEALED OF OUR SINS, HOWEVER, ISAIAH PROPHESIED ABOUT JESUS DOING THIS SOME 600 YEARS BEFORE JESUS WAS EVEN BORN. (ISAIAH 53:5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.)
ANOTHER THING, JESUS NEVER TURNED DOWN ANYONE WHO NEEDED HEALING AND HE SAID THAT HE ONLY DID WHAT HE SAW HIS FATHER DO. (JOHN 5:19 Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.) KNOWING THIS, HOW COULD ANYONE ASK GOD TO HEAL THEM IF IT IS HIS WILL? FROM THIS, WE KNOW IT IS HIS WILL.
DON'T EVER BELIEVE THAT IT IS HIS WILL FOR YOU TO BE SICK. SOME SAY THAT IF IT WASN'T HIS WILL, IT WOULDN'T HAPPEN. JUST READ THIS. 2ND PETER 3:9 "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. GOD'S WILL DOES NOT ALWAYS COME TO PASS BECAUSE WE KNOW THAT THERE WILL BE SOME THAT DO PERISH. HOWEVER, WE DO KNOW THAT IT IS HIS WILL TO HEAL. WE REALLY NEED TO KNOW WHAT THE BIBLE SAYS AND PRAY ACCORDINGLY. I BELIEVE THIS IS WHY SOME PRAYERS ARE NOT BEING ANSWERED. STUDY THE WORD AND BE PREPARED WHEN SOMETHING BAD COMES ON YOU OR A LOVED ONE. THE BIBLE IS TRUTH AND JESUS SAYS IN JOHN 8:32 "And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free". YOU WILL BE SET FREE OF ALL YOUR PROBLEMS IF YOU JUST KNOW THE TRUTH AND THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN KNOW IS TO STUDY GOD'S WORD AND BELIEVE WHAT IT SAYS. HE REALLY DOES WANT YOU HEALED.
