I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

"ARE YOU BORN-AGAIN?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN
CAN YOU IMAGINE WHAT THE JEWS, BACK IN JESUS' DAY, THOUGHT WHEN THEY HEARD THE TERN "BORN-AGAIN? IN JOHN 3:4, NICODEMUS EVEN ASKED JESUS "How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?" JESUS SAID TO HIM IN VERSES 5 & 6, "Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." WE, IN THIS DAY AND AGE, DON'T SEEM TO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS. WE KNOW WHAT BEING BORN-AGAIN MEANS.
HOWEVER, THERE ARE THOSE WHO HAVE A PROBLEM WITH 2ND CORINTHIANS 5:17 WHERE PAUL SAYS "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away ; behold ,all things are become new." THEY SAY "WHEN I WAS BORN-AGAIN, I THOUGHT ALL THINGS BECAME NEW, BUT I STILL LOOK THE SAME." THIS IS TALKING ABOUT OUR BORN-AGAIN SPIRIT WHICH IS JUST LIKE JESUS' SPIRIT. (1ST JOHN 4:17 Herein is our love made perfect , that we may have boldness in the day of judgment: because as he is , so are we in this world.) IT ISN'T OUR BODIES THAT BECAME NEW BUT OUR SPIRIT. SINCE WITH JESUS, ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE, WE CAN NOW WORK ON OUR BODIES AND MINDS. PAUL SAYS IN ROMANS 12:2 "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God." NOW FOR OUR BODIES, THEY ARE THE TEMPLE OF HOLY SPIRIT, YOU KNOW? (1ST CORINTHIANS 6:19 What? know ye not that your body is the temple of the Holy Ghost which is in you, which ye have of God, and ye are not your own?)
FOR THOSE WHO ARE BORN-AGAIN, PLEASE MAKE SURE. IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTION ABOUT THAT, THESE SCRIPTURES SHOULD ANSWER YOUR QUESTIONS. FOR YOU WHO ARE NOT BORN-AGAIN, TIME IS RUNNING OUT ON YOU. IF YOU DIED TODAY, IT WOULD BE TOO LATE FOR YOU AND YOU WOULD SPEND ETERNITY IN HELL. DO YOU WANT TO TAKE THAT CHANCE? PLEASE ACCEPT JESUS TODAY AS YOUR SAVIOR. HE LOVES YOU AND IS WAITING. YOU CAN DO IT RIGHT WHERE YOU ARE, RIGHT NOW. TALK TO HIM AND TELL HIM THAT YOU WANT HIM TO BE YOUR SAVIOR. CONFESS YOUR SINS TO HIM AND ASK FOR HIS FORGIVENESS. PAUL TELLS US IN 1ST CORINTHIANS 15:1-4 "Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand; By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain. For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures. THIS, YOU MUST BELIEVE.
