"BREAKING ONE OF GOD'S COMMANDMENTS IS A SIN" BY DAVID MCMILLEN
THE REASON I AM WRITING THIS MESSAGE IS BECAUSE I FEEL VERY STRONGLY THAT GOD WANTED ME TO WRITE IT AND THERE IS SOMEONE OUT THERE THAT NEEDS TO HEAR IT. ANOTHER REASON IS THAT I COULD NOT HAVE COME UP WITH THESE VERSES AND IDEAS ON MY OWN.
I WANT TO TALK ABOUT A SUBJECT THAT A LOT OF PEOPLE AVOID FOR FEAR OF BEING CALLED A HOMOPHOBIC. I HAVE HEARD THIS WORD, "HOMOPHOBIC" MENTIONED MANY TIMES AND TRUTHFULLY, I REALLY DIDN'T KNOW WHAT IT MEANT. WELL, YOU KNOW ME, I LOOKED IT UP. NOW THIS FIRST DEFINITION IS ONE THAT IS NOT ME. "Fear, hatred, or mistrust of lesbians and gay men." SO, IF YOU CALL ME THIS BECAUSE OF THIS MESSAGE, I WILL TELL YOU THAT YOU ARE WRONG. WE CAN LOVE THEM BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL GOD'S CHILDREN BUT WE CAN HATE THE SIN.
NOW THIS NEXT DEFINITION OF "HOMOPHOBIC" TAKES A LITTLE MORE EXPLAINING BECAUSE I AM NOT BIAS. "Being biased or having a belief or attitude formed beforehand". BEING BIAS WOULD MEAN THAT I HAVE A PREFERENCE THAT WOULD INHIBIT MY IMPARTIAL JUDGEMENT. I DO NOT JUDGE THESE PEOPLE. THAT IS GOD'S JOB BUT SINCE IT IS DISGUSTING AND VILE TO HIM, I WOULD SAY THAT IT IS A SIN. (ROMANS 1:26-27 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.) YES, I SAID SIN BECAUSE GOING AGAINST ONE OF GOD'S COMMANDMENTS IS A SIN. THE BIBLE SAYS IN LEVITICUS 18:22 THAT "Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." HE ALSO SAID IN EXODUS 20:15 "Thou shalt not steal." KEEP READING AND YOU WILL SEE WHY I PUT THIS LAST ONE DOWN.
WE CHRISTIANS MUST LOVE AND PRAY FOR THESE MEN AND WOMEN. WE HAVE TO REMEMBER THAT WE SIN EVERY DAY. SIN IS SIN WHETHER IT IS A MAN LYING WITH ANOTHER MAN OR STEALING. WE ALL SIN AND COME SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. WHEN YOU ARE JUDGING THESE PEOPLE, WHICH WE SHOULD NEVER DO, TRY TO REMEMBER TWO THINGS. JESUS SAYS IN MATTHEW 7:1-2 "Judge not, that ye be not judged. For with what judgment ye judge, ye shall be judged: and with what measure ye mete, it shall be measured to you again." WE CAN HAVE OUR OPINIONS BUT CANNOT JUDGE.
THE OTHER THING IS WHAT JESUS SAID WHEN THE SCRIBES AND PHARISEES BROUGHT THE WOMAN TO HIM THAT WAS CAUGHT IN THE ACT OF ADULTERY. IN JOHN 8:7, JESUS SAID "He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her." ARE YOU WITHOUT SIN?
I WANT TO SAY SOMETHING TO YOU HOMOSEXUALS AND REMEMBER I AM NOT JUDGING YOU. SOME OF YOU SAY THAT YOU WERE A MAN PUT IN A WOMAN'S BODY AND VICE VERSA. MY ANSWER TO YOU IS THAT GOD DOES NOT MAKE MISTAKES. THE OTHER IS THAT GOD MADE MAN AND WOMAN, (GENESIS 1:27-28 So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them. And God blessed them, and God said unto them, Be fruitful, and multiply, and replenish the earth, and subdue it: and have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over every living thing that moveth upon the earth.) MY QUESTION TO YOU IS THAT IF IT IS A MAN WITH MAN AND A WOMAN WITH WOMAN, HOW CAN GOD'S COMMANDMENT TO REPLENISH THE EARTH TAKE PLACE?
AGAIN, I AM NOT JUDGING YOU. ALL I HAVE DONE IS TELL YOU WHAT GOD HAS SAID. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THIS, TRY GOING TO HIM WITH IT. HE IS A RIGHTEOUS JUDGE THAT LOVES YOU BUT HATES YOUR SINS, JUST AS HE HATES MY SINS. I LOVE YOU ALL AND AM PRAYING FOR YOU.
