THERE ARE OVER 200 NAMES OF JESUS IN THE BIBLE. HE REALLY IS THE ALPHA AND THE OMEGA , THE BEGINNING AND THE END . SOME OF MY FAVORITES ARE COMFORTER , HEALER , THE ONLY BEGOTTEN SON , PRINCE OF PEACE , REDEEMER , SON OF THE LIVING GOD , THE WORD , AND MY MOST FAVORITE, SAVIOR . YOU SHOULD WRITE DOWN SOME OF YOUR FAVORITES AND FIND THE SCRIPTURE THAT IT IS IN AND READ THE WHOLE CHAPTER. THIS WAY YOU WILL GET THE FULL UNDERSTANDING WHY HE IS CALLED THESE NAMES.
LET'S LOOK AT WHO JESUS SAYS HE IS. I HAD A GREAT TIME SEARCHING AND I JUST PICKED OUT A FEW IN THE BOOK OF JOHN. I USED THE BOOK OF JOHN BECAUSE JOHN IS MENTIONED AS THE ONE JESUS LOVED. I KNOW HE LOVED EVERYONE BUT SINCE JOHN WAS WRITING THIS CHAPTER, I GUESS HE DID NOT WANT TO SAY HIS NAME BECAUSE THERE ARE SEVERAL VERSES WHERE HE WAS TALKING ABOUT HIMSELF AND JUST SAID "THE ONE WHOM JESUS LOVED". HERE IS ONE OF THE VERSES THAT SAYS THIS. JOHN 13:23 Now there was leaning on Jesus' bosom one of his disciples, whom Jesus loved. JUST READ EACH ONE AND REALLY THINK ABOUT WHAT JESUS IS SAYING. THESE ARE HIS WORDS.
JOHN 6:35 "I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall never hunger; and he that believeth on me shall never thirst."
JOHN 8:12 "I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
JOHN 8:23 "Ye are from beneath; I am from above: ye are of this world; I am not of this world."
JOHN 8:56 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am."
JOHN 10:30 " I and my Father are one."
JOHN 11:25 "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live ."
JOHN 14:6 "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

LET'S ALL GIVE JESUS THE PRAISE AND WORSHIP HE DESERVES. NOT FOR WHAT WE CAN GET OUT OF HIM, BUT JUST BECAUSE WE LOVE HIM.
