"USING GOD'S WISDOM" BY DAVID MCMILLEN
I JUST LOVE READING ROMANS 5:1-9 AND I AM GOING TO QUOTE IT HERE. I KNOW YOU WILL BE BLESSED BY THESE VERSES.
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; And patience, experience; and experience, hope: And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. For when we were yet without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die: yet peradventure for a good man some would even dare to die. But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him."
THESE VERSES ARE SO FULL OF WISDOM. JUSTIFIED BY FAITH...PEACE WITH GOD....GRACE WHEREIN WE STAND....REJOICE IN HOPE...GLORY IN TRIBULATIONS WHICH WILL WORK PATIENCE, HOPE AND LOVE. I AM GOING TO GIVE A FEW SCRIPTURES ON SOME OF THESE THINGS MENTIONED HERE.
FAITH...HEBREWS 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him. USING YOUR FAITH PLEASES GOD.
PEACE...LUKE 2:14 Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace, good will toward men. JESUS CAME TO MAKE PEACE BETWEEN GOD AND MAN. NOW WE CAN GO DIRECTLY TO GOD BECAUSE OF WHAT JESUS DID ON THE CROSS.
GRACE...EPHESIANS 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God. WE ARE SAVED BY GRACE BUT HAVE TO USE OUR FAITH TO BELIEVE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST.
TRIBULATIONS AND PATIENCE....2ND THESSALONIANS 1:4 So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure. PAUL IS PRAISING THE THESSALONIANS FOR THEIR GROWING FAITH.
HOPE...HEBREWS 11:1 Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. FAITH HAS SUBSTANCES AND IS REAL.
LOVE....1ST CORINTHIANS 13-13 And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these is charity. GOD IS LOVE.
IF WE COULD GET THIS WISDOM IN OUR SPIRITS, OUR LIVES WOULD BE SO MUCH BETTER. WE NEED TO THANK JESUS EVERY DAY FOR LOVING US SO MUCH. THE BEST WAY TO DO THIS IS TO OPEN YOUR BIBLE AND STUDY HIS WORD. THIS IS THE WAY TO BUILD YOUR FAITH AND THIS IS THE WAY JESUS TALKS TO US. HE HAS A LOT OF POWERFUL THINGS TO SAY AND WE ALL SHOULD BE LISTENING. WE SHOULD BE USING HIS WISDOM IN LIVING OUR LIVES. HE SEES THE WHOLE PICTURE AND IF WE WILL JUST FELLOWSHIP WITH HIM, HE WILL SHOW US THE WAY. WON'T YOU DO THAT TODAY?
