"WHY SUPPORT ISRAEL?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN
THIS IS GOING TO BE A SHORT MESSAGE BUT I DON'T THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE KNOW WHAT WE SHOULD DO REGARDING JERUSALEM AND THE JEWISH PEOPLE. DO YOU SUPPORT ISRAEL? AT LAST WE NOW HAVE A PRESIDENT THAT DOES AND THAT IS A GOOD THING BECAUSE THOSE ARE GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE. LOOK WHAT GOD SAYS IN ISAIAH 46:3-4 “Listen to me, you descendants of Jacob, all the remnant of the people of Israel, you whom I have upheld since your birth, and have carried since you were born. Even to your old age and gray hairs I am He, I am He who will sustain you. I have made you and I will carry you; I will sustain you and I will rescue you. HE MAKES IT VERY CLEAR THAT HE WILL TAKE CARE OF HIS PEOPLE. LOOK WHAT HE SAID TO ABRAHAM IN GENESIS 12:2-3 "And I will make of thee a great nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be a blessing: And I will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed."
IF YOU THINK GOD DOES NOT LOVE HIS PEOPLE, WHY WOULD HE TELL US TO PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM. (PSALM 122:6 Pray for the peace of Jerusalem: they shall prosper that love thee.) ALSO, IN BOTH DEUTERONOMY 32:10 AND ZECHARIAH 2:8 GOD CALLS ISRAEL THE "apple of his eye."
LET'S ALL SUPPORT ISRAEL IN EVERY WAY WE CAN AND WE SHOULD ALSO BE PRAYING FOR JERUSALEM BECAUSE GOD TELLS US TO DO SO. I DON'T KNOW HOW GOD IS GOING TO WORK OUT HIS PLAN FOR THEM BUT WHATEVER IT IS, IT WILL BE JUST. WE DON'T SEE THE WHOLE PICTURE. WE JUST HAVE TO TRUST AND OBEY HIM. SO GET BLESSED AND START PRAYING FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM.
