"ARE YOU SURE YOU ARE BORN AGAIN?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

I TELL THIS STORY ABOUT ONE OF MY FAMILY MEMBERS TO TRY TO WAKE HER UP TO THE TRUTH AND HOPEFULLY TO HELP OTHERS TO REALIZE THAT THEY NEED JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR. I DO NOT WANT TO EMBARRASS ANYONE BUT I LOVE ALL OF THOSE THAT ARE LOST AND DON'T WANT TO SEE ANYONE GO TO HELL. HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT WHY YOU DON'T DESERVE TO GO TO HELL? SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT BECAUSE SOMEONE HAS BEEN A GOOD PERSON ALL THEIR LIFE THAT JESUS WOULD NOT LET THEM GO TO HELL. I TELL THEM THAT IT ISN'T JESUS LETTING THEM GO TO HELL BECAUSE JESUS HAS DONE HIS PART. HE DIED FOR ALL SIN, EVEN THEIR'S, AND ALL THEY HAVE TO DO IS TO HAVE FAITH TO TRULY BELIEVE AND ACCEPT THAT JESUS DIED, WAS BURIED AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD. THIS IS THE ONLY WAY TO ESCAPE HELL.

SOME PEOPLE BELIEVE THAT JUST BECAUSE THEY WERE BAPTIZED AS A BABY, THEY WILL GO TO HEAVEN. SOME PEOPLE THINK THAT JUST BECAUSE THEY WENT TO CHURCH ALL THEIR LIVES, THEY WILL GO TO HEAVEN. NOW THE SCARY ONES ARE THOSE THAT WERE RAISED IN THE CHURCH AND WENT EVERY TIME THE DOORS WERE OPENED, WORKED AROUND THE CHURCH, SOME EVEN TAUGHT SUNDAY SCHOOL BUT NEVER ACTUALLY ACCEPTED JESUS AS THEIR SAVIOR. THEY JUST ASSUME THAT THEY ARE SAVED. IF YOU ARE ONE OF THESE PEOPLE, WAKE UP. I LIKE TO QUOTE WHAT JESUS SAID IN MATTHEW 7:21-23 TO ALL THESE PEOPLE, "Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity."

IF SOMEONE ASKED YOU WHY YOU DON'T DESERVE TO GO TO HELL, WHAT WOULD YOU SAY? THE ANSWER IS "ONLY BECAUSE OF JESUS". NOTHING ELSE MATTERS. THERE IS NOTHING YOU CAN ADD TO THAT. HE DID IT ALL. AND, IF YOU KNOW YOU ARE NOT BORN AGAIN, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT AS IT IS NOT TOO LATE FOR YOU. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE ME, BELIEVE JESUS. LOOK WHAT HE SAYS IN JOHN 3:5-7 "Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."

SO, IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE WHO I MENTIONED ABOVE AND YOU HAVE NOT RECEIVED JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR, YOU ARE GOING TO HELL. THERE IS NOT A PRETTY WAY OF SAYING THAT, BUT IF YOU ARE READING THIS MESSAGE, YOU STILL HAVE TIME. IN ACTS 4:10-12, PETER IS TALKING TO THE JEWS ON THE DAY OF PENTECOST, AFTER HEALING THE IMPOTENT MAN, AND TOLD THEM THIS ABOUT JESUS, " Be it known unto you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom ye crucified, whom God raised from the dead, even by him doth this man stand here before you whole. This is the stone which was set at nought of you builders, which is become the head of the corner. Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved." IF YOU HAVE ANY DOUBTS ABOUT YOUR SALVATION, PLEASE DO SOMETHING ABOUT IT. IT IS REALLY A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH.
