"RECEIVE YOUR HEALING" BY DAVID MCMILLEN
BEFORE I GET STARTED ON THIS MESSAGE I WANT EVERYONE TO KNOW THAT I BELIEVE THERE IS NOTHING WRONG WITH GOING TO THE DOCTORS. IF IT WAS NOT FOR THE DOCTORS, A LOT OF CHRISTIANS WOULD BE DEAD BEFORE THEY LEARNED TO USE THEIR FAITH TO RECEIVE THEIR HEALING. NOW THAT I HAVE SAID THAT, I WOULD LIKE TO SAY THAT THE DOCTORS DO NOT HAVE THE FINAL SAY. IF WE WOULD TAKE JESUS AT HIS WORD LIKE SOME TAKE THE DOCTORS AT THEIR WORD, WE WOULD NOT BE SICK HALF AS MUCH. LOOK WHAT THE LORD SAYS IN EXODUS 15:26, "If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the Lord thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the Lord that healeth thee."
I KNOW PEOPLE, EVEN SOME OF MY KIDS, THINK I AM CRAZY WHEN THEY ASK ME HOW I AM FEELING AND I TELL THEM I AM HEALED IN THE NAME OF JESUS. WHY SHOULDN'T I SAY THAT BECAUSE I AM HEALED? IT TELLS ME THIS IN 1ST PETER 2:24 WHERE IT SAYS "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." I LIKE THIS BECAUSE IT SAYS "WERE" HEALED. WHEN JESUS TOOK THOSE STRIPES AND WENT TO THE CROSS IS WHEN WE "WERE" HEALED. ISAIAH EVEN PROPHESIED ABOUT IT IN ISAIAH 53:5 WHEN HE SAID "But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed." WHO AM I GOING TO LISTEN TO, MY BODY WHICH IS TELLING ME THAT I AM SICK, A DOCTOR WHO TELLS ME THE SAME THING OR JESUS WHO IS TELLING ME THAT I AM HEALED. I CHOOSE JESUS.
I WONDER WHY PEOPLE WON'T GIVE JESUS A CHANCE LIKE THEY DO THE DOCTORS. THE DOCTOR TELLS US TO TAKE THE MEDICINE AND IF IT DOESN'T WORK, COME BACK IN TWO WEEKS AND HE WILL TRY SOMETHING ELSE. ALTHOUGH JESUS TELLS US THAT WE ARE HEALED, WE STILL ASK HIM TO HEAL US, AND IF IT DOESN'T HAPPEN RIGHT AWAY, WE THINK IT DIDN'T WORK. HE EVEN TELLS US THAT IT "SHALL" BE DONE. LOOK WHAT HE TELLS US IN JOHN 15:7 WHEN HE SAYS "If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you." HE DIDN'T SAY IT "MIGHT" BE DONE AND THE IMPORTANT THING TO REMEMBER IS ABIDING IN HIM AND LETTING HIS WORD ABIDE IN US. THAT IS WHY IT IS SO IMPORTANT TO STUDY HIS WORD AND KEEP IT IN OUR HEARTS.
I WILL JUST THROW THIS IN SINCE SOME PEOPLE PROBABLY THINK I DON'T HAVE SCRIPTURE TO BACK UP MY SAYING THAT I AM HEALED WHEN IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE I AM. WHEN GOD TOLD ABRAHAM THAT HE WAS GOING TO BE THE FATHER OF MANY NATIONS, HE PUT IT THIS WAY, IN THE PRESENT TENSE, AND IS QUOTED IN ROMANS 4:17 (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. LOOK AT THE LAST PART OF THIS SCRIPTURE THAT I HAVE ALSO UNDERLINED AND MADE BOLD. THAT IS WHAT I AM DOING WITH MY HEALING. I AM CALLING THOSE THINGS THAT ARE NOT AS THOUGH THEY ARE. I KNOW I AM HEALED BECAUSE JESUS SAYS I AM AND I HAVE NO DOUBT THAT THE HEALING WILL BE MANIFESTED IN MY BODY. THANK YOU JESUS.
SO GO TO YOUR DOCTORS AND, BY ALL MEANS, DO WHAT HE SAYS UNTIL YOU ARE SURE, WITHOUT A SHADOW OF A DOUBT, THAT JESUS IS TELLING YOU THAT YOU ARE HEALED. JUST REMEMBER THIS THOUGH, THE DOCTOR DOES NOT HAVE THE FINAL SAY ABOUT YOUR HEALING. IF WHATEVER YOU HAVE HAS A NAME, WHICH IT DOES, THE NAME OF JESUS IS ABOVE IT AND IT SAYS THAT IN PHILIPPIANS 2:9 Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name. PLEASE DON'T GIVE UP AND LET THE DEVIL TAKE YOUR LIFE AWAY. JESUS HAS A LOT MORE THINGS FOR YOU TO DO. JUST TALK TO HIM AND GET INTO HIS WORD AND LET HIM TALK TO YOU AND YOU WILL REALIZE THAT YOU ARE HEALED. HE REALLY LOVES YOU.
