I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

"GOD IS NO RESPECTER OF PERSONS" BY DAID MCMILLEN
I HAVE TRIED TO EXPLAIN THAT WHAT GOD WILL DO FOR ONE, OR EVEN HAS DONE FOR SOMEONE, HE WILL DO FOR US ALL. PEOPLE HAVE A HARD TIME WITH THIS FOR SOME REASON. I AM GOING TO TRY TO MAKE IT MORE CLEAR WITH A FEW SCRIPTURES. I AM PRAYING THAT GOD WILL OPEN THEIR HEARTS AND MINDS WITH UNDERSTANDING AND THAT HE WILL GIVE ME THE SCRIPTURES TO USE.
WHEN GOD TOLD PETER TO GO TO JOPPA TO MINISTER TO CORNELIUS, A GENTILE, PETER, IN ACT 10:34 SAID "Of a truth I perceive that God is no respecter of persons." I BELIEVE THIS IS WHEN PETER REALIZED THAT THE GOSPEL WAS NOT ONLY FOR THE JEWS. IF HE WILL DO IT FOR ONE, HE WILL DO IT FOR THE OTHER.
HAVE YOU EVER BEEN AROUND WHEN SOMEONE WAS TALKING ABOUT JESUS HEALING THEM AND A SPIRIT FILLED CHRISTIAN SAID SOMETHING LIKE "I KNOW HE DID IT FOR YOU BUT I AM NOT SURE HE WOULD DO IT FOR ME"? THIS ALWAYS DISTURBS ME. I THINK TWO THINGS, THEY EITHER DON'T STUDY GOD'S WORD OR THEY DON'T BELIEVE GOD'S WORD. EITHER ONE IS BAD.
THE REASON I SAY THIS IS BECAUSE OF ROMANS 8:26-32 WHERE IT SAYS "Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose. For whom he did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of his Son, that he might be the firstborn among many brethren. Moreover whom he did predestinate, them he also called: and whom he called, them he also justified: and whom he justified, them he also glorified. What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us? GOD'S SPIRIT WITHIN US KNOWS HE WILL HEAL US BUT WE HAVE TO HAVE FAITH TO BELIEVE AND ACCEPT THAT HEALING.
IF YOU ARE ONE OF THOSE CHRISTIANS WHO HAVE SAID THIS, I PRAY THAT YOU WILL TAKE GOD AT HIS WORD. HE WILL DO WHAT HE SAYS AND WITH ALL HIS PROMISES IN HIS WORD, YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON A LOT OF BLESSINGS. YOU ARE HIS CHILD AND HE HAS A GREATER LOVE FOR YOU THAN ANY PARENT COULD POSSIBLY HAVE FOR THEIR CHILDREN. WON'T YOU TRUST HIM TODAY? CLAIM YOUR HEALING LIKE A TRUE CHILD OF THE LIVING GOD AND WALK IN DIVINE HEALTH. 1ST PETER 2:24 SAYS "Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed." IF WE "WERE" HEALED THEN WE "ARE" HEALED NOW AND WE SHOULD START ACTING LIKE IT. IF SOMEONE ASK YOU HOW YOU ARE FEELING, TELL THEM YOU ARE HEALED IN THE NAME OF JESUS. THAT IS SPEAKING A POSITIVE WORD AND IT IS SPIRITUAL. ROMANS 4:16-18 SAYS "Therefore it is of faith, that it might be by grace; to the end the promise might be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham; who is the father of us all, (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were. Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations, according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be." YOU ARE JUST CALLING YOURSELF HEALED BECAUSE JESUS SAYS YOU ARE. YOU CAN DO THIS IF YOU BELIEVE GOD'S WORD. LIKE I SAID BEFORE, IF HE WILL DO IT FOR ONE, HE WILL DO IT FOR ALL.
