"JUST PRAYING WON'T GET ANYONE BORN AGAIN" BY DAVID MCMILLEN
YOU KNOW, WE CAN PRAY CONSTANTLY FOR GOD TO SAVE SOMEONE BUT IT JUST DOESN'T HAPPEN THAT WAY. PRAYER WILL NOT GET A PERSON BORN AGAIN. IF THAT WAS THE CASE, NONE OF OUR LOVED ONES WOULD GO TO HELL.
WE HAVE TO GET OUT THERE AND TELL PEOPLE ABOUT JESUS. IT IS NOT GOING TO HAPPEN ANY OTHER WAY. IT SAYS THAT IN ROMANS 10:14 How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?
AS I HAVE SAID BEFORE, WE ALL ARE PREACHERS. NEED PROOF, JESUS SAID IT IN MARK 16:15 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. IF WE WERE NOT PREACHERS WHY WOULD HE TELL US TO GO. THIS IS AS MUCH FOR US TODAY AS IT WAS FOR HIS DISCIPLES. JESUS SAID IN MATTHEW 9:37-38 "Then saith he unto his disciples, The harvest truly is plenteous, but the labourers are few; Pray ye therefore the Lord of the harvest, that he will send forth labourers into his harvest."
DON'T JUST PRAY THAT GOD WILL SEND SOMEONE, GO YOURSELF. IT MIGHT TAKE THAT PERSONAL TOUCH FOR THEM TO LISTEN. NOW IF YOU ARE A LONG WAY OFF, THEN IT WOULD BE APPROPRIATE FOR YOU TO ASK GOD TO SEND SOMEONE. JUST REALIZE THAT THERE COULD BE SOME MOTHER PRAYING THAT GOD WOULD SEND SOMEONE TO TALK TO THEIR CHILD AND YOU JUST MIGHT BE THE ONE. IF YOU FEEL LEAD TO TALK TO SOMEONE, EVEN IF YOU DON'T KNOW THEM, GOD JUST MIGHT HAVE YOU IN MIND. BE OBEDIENT.
JUST REMEMBER THE HARVEST IS GREAT AND WE ALL SHOULD BE THE LABORERS. MAKE IT A POINT THIS WEEK TO TELL SOMEONE ABOUT JESUS. IT IS UP TO US. JUST PRAYING FOR THEM ISN'T GONG TO GET IT DONE.

Prayer works more than you can imagine. Prayer is effective. I realized people prayed for me one day. The street preachers have guts as they go right to the source. One can do it in a number of ways but there are places, cities, municipalities, where there are certain laws that pertain to solicitation and even volume. In a way that make it an offensive to spread the gospel. Its strange but it exists. Some people don't care. Its like trying to reach the deceived as I was once deceived. Why did I see the light and others don't no matter what is presented. Many people have been brain washed by religion and cultist techniques that they are blinded to the light. Some street preachers are too busy yelling instead of preaching. Its hard to talk AT a person David. Many people are enslaved to many things that blind them to the greatest thing of all. There are people that are spiritually blind and people NOT called out that don't have the spiritual gifts no matter what the circumstances may be. Too many people live in the flesh, the vanities of the world and their lives are clustered with vanities that also blind them to see spiritually. It could be God has a plan with others for as he works with people. God does exist and you can not see him for a profound reason. Faith needs to be there in a person. The gospel tells us to seek first the Kingdom of heaven. I do tell people when I feel there is an opportunity. Again, many people are under the control/enslavement of religion and this was one of Christs main concerns with the religious leaders of his day. Money is the GOD of MANY and in turn they worship the devil. When Christ healed the blind man that man was seeing more than the religious leaders who's sins remained as they were enslaved in religion, and they were closing the door to the Kingdom for many others. See the frustration of Christ with them. They were chosen yet failed to realize the least must be first.
