WHY DON'T THEY BELIEVE?
I HAVE WRITTEN ON THIS BEFORE BUT JUST IN CASE THERE ARE JEWISH PEOPLE OUT THERE THAT MIGHT READ THIS, I AM GOING TO WRITE ON THE SUBJECT AGAIN.
I FEEL BAD FOR ALL THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND WONDER WITH ALL THE PROPHECIES IN THE OLD TESTAMENT ABOUT JESUS BEING THE MESSIAH, WHY THEY CAN'T SEE THIS. IT WOULDN'T BE SO BAD EXCEPT THE PROPHECIES ARE SO SPECIFIC. I THINK, AND THIS IS JUST ME, THAT THEY DON'T EVEN READ THE NEW TESTAMENT SINCE THEY DON'T BELIEVE THE TRUTH ABOUT JESUS. I HAVE BEEN IN A JEWISH CHAT ROOM AND TO MENTION JESUS WAS A MISTAKE. SOME OF THEM GOT VERY HOSTILE.
I AM GOING TO LIST A FEW OF THE PROPHECIES BELOW IN HOPES THAT THERE WILL BE JEWS THAT READS IT. I LOVE THE JEWISH PEOPLE AND PRAY FOR THE PEACE OF JERUSALEM EVERY DAY AS IT SAYS TO DO IN PSALMS 122:6. THEY ARE GOD'S CHOSEN PEOPLE AND I AM JUST THANKFUL THAT WE GENTILES WERE GRAFTED IN. THAT IS WHAT PAUL TELLS US IN ROMANS 11:17 WHERE HE SAYS "And if some of the branches be broken off, and thou, being a wild olive tree, wert grafted in among them, and with them partakest of the root and fatness of the olive tree." THE BRANCHES THAT WERE BROKEN OFF WERE THE CHILDREN OF ISRAEL WHO REJECTED THE MESSIAH AND SINCE THEY WERE BROKEN OFF, WE CHRISTIANS WERE GRAFTED IN.
BELOW ARE SOME OF THE PROPHECIES AND THEIR FULFILLMENT.
THE MESSIAH WOULD BE BORN OF A VIRGIN
PROPHECY.....ISAIAH 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive, and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

FULFILLMENT.....MATTHEW 1:22-23 Now all this was done, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken of the Lord by the prophet, saying, Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us.
A MESSENGER WOULD PREPARE THE WAY FOR THE MESSIAH
PROPHECY.....ISAIAH 40:3-5 The voice of him that crieth in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make straight in the desert a highway for our God. Every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain.
FULFILLMENT.....LUKE 3:3-6 And he came into all the country about Jordan, preaching the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins; As it is written in the book of the words of Esaias the prophet, saying, The voice of one crying in the wilderness, Prepare ye the way of the Lord, make his paths straight. Every valley shall be filled, and every mountain and hill shall be brought low; and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough ways shall be made smooth; And all flesh shall see the salvation of God.
THE MESSIAH WOULD BE DECLARED THE SON OF GOD

THE MESSIAH WOULD BE BETRAYED
PROPHECY.....PSALMS 41:9 Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.
FULFILLMENT.....LUKE 22:47-48 And while he yet spake, behold a multitude, and he that was called Judas, one of the twelve, went before them, and drew near unto Jesus to kiss him. But Jesus said unto him, Judas, betrayest thou the Son of man with a kiss?

THE MESSIAH'S HANDS AND FEET WOULD BE PIERCED
PROPHECY.....PSALMS 22:16 For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of the wicked have inclosed me: they pierced my hands and my feet.
FULFILLMENT.....JOHN 20:25-27 The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe. And after eight days again his disciples were within, and Thomas with them: then came Jesus, the doors being shut, and stood in the midst, and said, Peace be unto you. Then saith he to Thomas, Reach hither thy finger, and behold my hands; and reach hither thy hand, and thrust it into my side: and be not faithless, but believing.

THE MESSIAH WOULD RESURRECT FROM THE DEAD
PROPHECY.....PSALMS 49:15 But God will redeem my soul from the power of the grave: for he shall receive me. Selah.
FULFILLMENT.....MATTHEW 28:6-7 He is not here: for he is risen, as he said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay. And go quickly, and tell his disciples that he is risen from the dead; and, behold, he goeth before you into Galilee; there shall ye see him: lo, I have told you.

THE MESSIAH WOULD ASCEND INTO HEAVEN

FULFILLMENT.....MARK 16:19 So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

I KNOW THE TORAH DOES NOT HAVE ALL OF THE BOOKS AS OUR OLD TESTAMENT BUT THE STRANGE THING IS THAT ALL OF THESE PROPHECIES ARE IN THE TORAH AND I WONDER WHO THEY BELIEVE THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT. LET'S ALL PRAY THAT THEIR EYES AND HEARTS WILL BE OPENED AND ALSO SAY A SPECIAL PRAYER FOR THOSE MESSIANIC JEWS. IF ANYONE CAN REACH THE OTHERS FOR JESUS, THEY SHOULD BE ABLE TO.
