"HOW TO GET YOUR PRAYERS ANSWERED" BY DAVID MCMILLEN
I KNOW THERE ARE THINGS WE HAVE TO DO, AND NOT DO, TO HAVE OUR PRAYERS ANSWERED. WE CAN'T ASK ANYTHING THAT IS AGAINST GOD'S WILL, WE HAVE TO ASK IN THE NAME OF JESUS, WE HAVE TO BELIEVE THAT WHEN WE PRAY, WE HAVE RECEIVED IT AND WE MUST HAVE FORGIVENESS IN OUR HEARTS. I SAY ALL THIS BECAUSE OF THESE VERSES.
ON ASKING
JOHN 14:13-14 If ye shall ask anything in my name, I will do it. And whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son.
JOHN 15:16 Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.
JOHN 16:23-24 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you. Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full.
JOHN 16:26 At that day ye shall ask in my name: and I say not unto you, that I will pray the Father for you
ON BELIEVING
MARK 11:24 Therefore I say unto you, What things soever ye desire, when ye pray, believe that ye receive them, and ye shall have them.
ON FORGIVENESS
MARK 11:25 And when ye stand praying, forgive, if ye have ought against any: that your Father also which is in heaven may forgive you your trespasses.
WE HAVE TO REMEMBER ALL THESE THINGS WHEN WE PRAY. JESUS ALSO WANTS US TO LEARN ABOUT HIM. I FEEL THAT IF WE LEARN ABOUT HIM, THEN WE WILL HAVE FAITH TO BELIEVE THAT ALL HE SAYS, HE WILL DO. HE SAYS IN MATTHEW 11:29 "Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls."
NOW THAT WE KNOW WHAT WE MUST DO WHEN WE PRAY, LET'S LOOK AT WHAT JESUS ALSO SAYS ABOUT ASKING. IT IS FOUND IN MATTHEW 7:7 WHERE JESUS SAYS, "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." HE DOESN'T SAY ASK AND IT MIGHT BE GIVEN YOU OR SEEK AND YOU MIGHT FIND OR KNOCK AND IT MIGHT BE OPENED. HE IS SAYING HE ANSWERS ALL PRAYERS. GOD IS A SPIRIT AND HE ANSWERS OUR PRAYERS IN THE SPIRIT AND WE HAVE TO USE OUR FAITH TO BRING OUR ANSWERS INTO MANIFESTATION IN OUR NATURAL LIVES. IS YOUR FAITH STRONG ENOUGH TO DO THAT? IF NOT, DON'T WORRY, THAT CAN BE FIXED. THE BIBLE SAYS IN ROMANS 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
GET INTO GOD'S WORD TODAY AND START STUDYING AND BUILD YOUR FAITH. GOD HAS GIVEN US ALL "THE" MEASURE OF FAITH AND IT IS UP TO US TO STAY IN HIS WORD AND KEEP IT STRONG. JUST REMEMBER THAT IF WE HAVE STRONG FAITH AND BELIEVE IN GOD'S WORD, THERE IS NOTHING WE CANNOT DO. WE CAN HEAL THE SICK, INCLUDING OURSELVES, AND EVEN RAISE THE DEAD. WE REALLY ARE POWERFUL IN JESUS. I LOVE WHAT HE SAID IN JOHN 14:12 "Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father." DO YOU REALIZE WHAT HE IS SAYING? CAN YOU HEAL THE SICK AND RAISE THE DEAD? THE ANSWER IS YES AND YOU CAN DO EVEN GREATER THAN THESE MIRACLES. THE REAL QUESTION IS, DO YOU BELIEVE JESUS? HE SAYS YOU CAN.
IT IS ALL UP TO US. JESUS HAS DONE IT ALL FOR US AND WE JUST HAVE TO KNOW WHAT HE SAYS AND DO IT. I WILL BE PRAYING FOR YOU AND YOUR FAMILY AND I WOULD APPRECIATE YOU PRAYING FOR ME AND MY FAMILY. THANK YOU.
