I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

WHAT IS THE GOSPEL?
WHEN PEOPLE TALK ABOUT THE GOSPEL, DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT? MOST PEOPLE KNOW THAT THE "GOSPELS", PLURAL, ARE THE FIRST FOUR BOOKS OF THE NEW TESTAMENT, MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE AND JOHN. THESE ARE CALLED THE "GOSPELS".
NOW DO YOU KNOW WHAT THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT WHEN THEY SAY "THE GOSPEL OF JESUS CHRIST"? PAUL TELLS US IN 1ST CORINTHIANS 15:3-4 "For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures; And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:" TO BE BORN AGAIN OR SAVED, THIS IS WHAT YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE, REPENT OF YOUR SINS, ASK JESUS TO BE YOUR SAVIOR AND BE BAPTIZED.
LOOK AT A FEW PASSAGES: (LUKE 8:12 Those by the way side are they that hear; then cometh the devil, and taketh away the word out of their hearts, lest they should believe and be saved.).....(ACTS 16:29-31 Then he called for a light, and sprang in, and came trembling, and fell down before Paul and Silas, And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved? And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.) PAUL EVEN TOLD THE JAILER THAT ALL THE ONES IN HIS HOUSE COULD ALSO BE SAVED IF THEY BELIEVED.).....(ROMANS 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.).....AND THE LAST ONE.....(MARK 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.)
NOW, IF ANY OF YOU CHRISTIANS HAVE ANY PROBLEMS LEADING SOMEONE TO JESUS, USE THESE PASSAGES. AND, TO YOU THAT ARE NOT YET BORN AGAIN (SAVED), THIS IS ALL YOU HAVE TO DO. THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IS TO HAVE FAITH TO TRULY BELIEVE ALL OF THIS AND RECEIVE IT.
IF YOU ARE HAVING PROBLEMS BELIEVING, GET A BIBLE AND JUST READ MATTHEW, MARK, LUKE AND JOHN. THESE FOUR BOOKS TELL OF THE LIFE OF JESUS AND ALL THAT HE DID AND IT WILL BUILD YOUR FAITH AS IT IS SAID IN THE SCRIPTURES. (ROMAN 10:17 So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.) YOU WILL SEE THE LOVE HE SHOWED BY HEALING THE PEOPLE AND FORGIVING THEIR SINS. THE BIBLE IS GOD'S WORD, A REAL BOOK WITH REAL HISTORY. AFTER YOU READ IT YOU WILL KNOW MORE ABOUT JESUS. TALK TO HIM AND TELL HIM YOU BELIEVE AND WANT HIM IN YOUR LIFE. THANK HIM FOR HIS FORGIVENESS AND ACCEPT THE GIFT OF SALVATION. YOU WILL NEVER REGRET IT.
