THE POWER OF PRAYER
DO YOU FIND IT HARD TO WATCH THE NEWS THESE DAYS WITH ALL THE TALK ABOUT THE VIRUS? THERE IS NEVER ANYTHING GOOD IN IT. IT WAS THE IMPEACHMENT FOR A LONG TIME AND NOW THIS. WOULDN'T YOU, JUST ONE TIME, LIKE TO HEAR ABOUT SOMEONE GETTING BORN AGAIN AND THE REPORTER ACTUALLY SAYING THAT HE RECEIVED JESUS AS HIS SAVIOR? HOW ABOUT SOMEONE GETTING HEALED BY THE POWER OF HOLY SPIRIT IN THE NAME OF JESUS? DON'T HOLD YOUR BREATH THOUGH, IT WILL NEVER HAPPEN. THEY ARE AFRAID THEY WILL OFFEND SOMEONE OR LOSE THEIR RATINGS. THEY DON'T CARE ABOUT US CHRISTIANS. WOULDN'T IT BE GREAT TO LIVE IN PHILIPPIANS 2:1-11, WHICH YOU CAN READ BELOW:
Philippians 2 1:11 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies, Fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord, of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory; but in lowliness of mind let each esteem other better than themselves. Look not every man on his own things, but every man also on the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
IF ALL OF US CHRISTIANS WOULD REALLY TAKE THIS TO HEART AND APPLY IT TO OUR EVERY DAY LIVES, WE COULD NOT ONLY CHANGE THIS COUNTRY BUT WE COULD CHANGE THE WORLD. WE HAVE THE POWER IF WE WOULD ALL JUST REALIZE IT. WE NEED TO REMEMBER WHAT IT SAYS IN 1ST THESSALONIANS 5:17 "Pray without ceasing." IF YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING ELSE, AT LEASE YOU CAN PRAY. JAMES 5:16 SAYS "Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much." THE EFFECTUAL FERVENT PRAYER OF A RIGHTEOUS MAN OR WOMAN AVAILETH MUCH. THAT IS YOU AND ME.
NOTHING IS GOING TO GET DONE UNLESS WE STAND TOGETHER AND AGREE THAT WE CAN DO THIS. MATTHEW 18:19 SAYS "Again I say unto you, That if two of you shall agree on earth as touching any thing that they shall ask, it shall be done for them of my Father which is in heaven." THESE VERSES I AM QUOTING ARE REAL AND ALIVE AND TRUE. JESUS WOULD NOT HAVE SAID THEM IF THEY WERE NOT. I BELIEVE THAT GOD PUT PRESIDENT TRUMP IN OFFICE TO STRAIGHTEN OUT THE THINGS THAT EVERYONE ELSE WAS AFRAID TO DO. HE HAS MADE THIS COUNTRY MUCH GREATER AND I JUST THANK GOD FOR HIM AND PRAY FOR HIM. WILL ANYONE STAND WITH ME ON THIS? PLEASE PRAY FOR OUR PRESIDENT.
