DOES GOD MARVEL AT YOUR FAITH?
THE DICTIONARY DEFINES "MARVEL" AS "To become filled with wonder or astonishment." DID YOU EVER THINK THAT JESUS COULD BECOME FILLED WITH WONDER OR ASTONISHMENT? WELL, HE WAS. IT SAYS HE MARVELED AT THE CENTURION'S FAITH. THIS MUST HAVE BEEN A REAL JOY FOR JESUS WHEN HE HEARD WHAT THE CENTURION SAID TO HIM IN MATTHEW 8:8-10 "Lord, I am not worthy that thou shouldest come under my roof: but speak the word only, and my servant shall be healed. For I am a man under authority, having soldiers under me: and I say to this man, Go, and he goeth; and to another, Come, and he cometh; and to my servant, Do this, and he doeth it." When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, "Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." "SPEAK THE WORD"......THIS IS THE KIND OF FAITH WE ALL NEED TO BE USING IN OUR DAILY LIVES.
THERE WAS ONE OTHER TIME THAT JESUS MARVELED AND THAT WAS WHEN HE WAS IN HIS OWN COUNTRY AND HE COULD NOT DO "MIGHTY WORKS" BECAUSE OF THEIR UNBELIEF. (MARK 6:5-6 And he could there do no mighty work, save that he laid his hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them. And he marvelled because of their unbelief. And he went round about the villages, teaching.)
USING YOUR FAITH TO BELIEVE GOD'S WORD IS NOT JUST PUTTING YOUR TRUST IN SOME PRINTED WORDS ON A PAGE IN THE BOOK WE CALL THE BIBLE BUT MUCH MORE. IT IS A RELATIONSHIP WITH THE ONE SPEAKING THE WORDS. GET TO KNOW HIM THROUGH HIS WORD. HE LOVE YOU AND WANTS TO HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH YOU. TALK WITH HIM AND SHOW AND TELL HIM THAT YOU LOVE HIM TOO. IT WILL BE THE BEST CONVERSATION YOU HAVE EVER HAD.
