OUR RESURRECTED BODIES
HAVE YOU EVER THOUGHT ABOUT HOW YOUR RESURRECTED BODY WILL BE? WE ALL WILL HAVE ONE AND WITH OUR LITTLE MINDS WE CANNOT CONCEIVE WHAT IT WILL BE LIKE. I HEARD SOMEONE SAY ONCE THAT GOD WOULD NOT SERVE DESERT FIRST SO IF THESE EARTHLY BODIES ARE THIS WONDERFULLY MADE THEN OUR RESURRECTED BODIES WILL BE OUT OF THIS WORLD, LITERALLY. I AM LOOKING FORWARD TO WONDERING AROUND THE UNIVERSE SEEING ALL THE WORLDS THAT GOD CREATED. IT IS GOING TO BE GLORIOUS.
AS YOU KNOW, JESUS HAS A DIFFERENCE PROSPECTIVE ON LIFE THEN WE DO. EVEN BACK WHEN HE WAS ON EARTH HIS DISCIPLES DIDN'T UNDERSTAND WHAT JESUS WAS TRYING TO TELL THEM. WHEN HE TOLD THEM THAT HE HAD TO GO AND WAKE LAZARUS OUT OF SLEEP, HIS DISCIPLES ACTUALLY THOUGH HE WAS TALKING ABOUT SLEEPING. JESUS HAD TO TELL THEM PLAINLY THAT LAZARUS WAS DEAD. EVEN MARTHA TOLD JESUS THAT IF HE WOULD HAVE BEEN THERE HER BROTHER WOULD NOT BE DEAD. JESUS TOLD HER IN JOHN 11:25 "I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live".
I BELIEVE THIS NEXT PASSAGE WILL EXPLAINS WHAT IT WILL BE LIKE. THIS MAKES ME WANT TO SHOUT. 1ST CORINTHIANS 15:51-57 Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed, In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed. For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality. So when this corruptible shall have put on incorruption, and this mortal shall have put on immortality, then shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.
