CHRISTIANITY
BEING A CHRISTIAN IS NOT EASY. SATAN'S DEMONS ARE ATTACKING US AT ALL TIMES. I KNOW WE SAY THAT IT IS SATAN BUT SATAN CAN'T BE IN ALL PLACES AT ALL TIMES. HE IS NOT LIKE GOD, JESUS AND HOLY SPIRIT.
HOWEVER, HE HAS HIS DEMONS DOING HIS BIDDING AND THIS IS WHAT WE HAVE TO WATCH OUT FOR. IT TAKES DISCIPLINE TO BE A CHRISTIAN.
WE ARE NEW CREATURES IN JESUS AND WE SHOULD ACT LIKE IT. THIS IS WHAT IT TELLS US IN 2ND CORINTHIANS 5:17 WHERE IT SAYS "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
WHEN YOU LOOK IN THE MIRROR YOU MIGHT NOT THINK YOU ARE A NEW CREATURE BUT YOU ARE. IT IS TALKING ABOUT YOUR SPIRIT. THE WONDERFUL THING IS THAT OUR SPIRITS ARE SEALED UNTO THE DAY OF REDEMPTION. I AM GOING TO LIST THREE VERSES THAT TELLS US THIS. I BELIEVE READING IT FOR YOURSELVES WILL HELP YOU UNDERSTAND IT BETTER.
2ND CORINTHIANS 1:20-22 For all the promises of God in him are yea, and in him Amen, unto the glory of God by us. Now he which stablisheth us with you in Christ, and hath anointed us, is God; Who hath also sealed us, and given the earnest of the Spirit in our hearts.
EPHESIANS 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise.
EPHESIANS 4:30 And grieve not the holy Spirit of God, whereby ye are sealed unto the day of redemption.
LIKE I SAID BEFORE, BEING A CHRISTIAN IS NOT EASY. YOU MIGHT HAVE TO LET GO OF SOME OF YOUR OLD FRIENDS AND EVEN FIND SOME NEW HANGOUTS. HOWEVER, IT IS ALL WORTH IT. DON'T WORRY ABOUT THIS BECAUSE ALL IT TAKES IS GETTING YOUR MIND TO AGREE WITH YOUR SPIRIT . THEN THE CHANGE WILL COME. LOOK WHAT PAUL TELLS US IN ROMANS 12:2, "And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God."
THE RENEWING OF YOUR MIND STARTS BY STUDYING YOUR BIBLE AND FINDING OUT WHAT GOD WANTS YOU TO DO. THE NEXT THING IS TO OBEY WHAT HE IS TELLING YOU. HE WILL NEVER GIVE YOU MORE THAN YOU CAN HANDLE. JUST TRUST HIM.
