OUR REWARD IS IN HEAVEN
HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHAT OUR REWARDS WILL BE IN HEAVEN? THE BIBLE TALKS A LOT ABOUT THEM AND I AM SURE WHATEVER THEY ARE THEY WILL BE WONDERFUL. I KNOW WE DON'T HAVE TO WORK FOR OUR SALVATION BECAUSE IT IS A FREE GIFT BUT LET'S LOOK AT WHAT IT SAYS ABOUT REWARDS.
JESUS SAYS IN:
MATTHEW 6:19-20 " Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: But lay up for yourselves trea sures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal."
MATTHEW 5:11-12 "Blessed are ye, when men shall revile you, and persecute you, and shall say all manner of evil against you falsely, for my sake. Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you."
MATTHEW 16:27 "For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works."
PAUL SAYS IN:
COLOSSIANS 3:23-24 "And whatsoever ye do, do it heartily, as to the Lord, and not unto men; Knowing that of the Lord ye shall receive the reward of the inheritance: for ye serve the Lord Christ."
I AM SURE THERE WILL BE REWARDS FOR THOSE WHO ARE LIVING FOR JESUS AND TEACHING AND TELLING OTHERS ABOUT THE GOSPEL AND ESPECIALLY LEADING SOMEONE TO RECEIVE HIM AS THEIR SAVIOR. THESE ARE THING WE SHOULD BE DOING DAILY, REWARDS OR NOT, JUST BECAUSE OF WHAT HE DID FOR US AND TO SHOW HIM HOW MUCH WE LOVE HIM. LET'S TELL AS MANY PEOPLE AS WE CAN THIS WEEK ABOUT HIM AND HIS LOVE. THEY WILL BE BLESSED AND WE WILL TOO. I CAN'T IMAGINE WHAT OUR REWARDS WILL BE BUT I DO KNOW THEY WILL BE WONDERFUL. THE GREATEST REWARD WILL BE JUST BEING WITH HIM.
