ARE YOU BURDENED BY STRESS?
STRESS CAN COME IN MANY FORMS, SOME WORSE THAN OTHERS. YOU MIGHT THINK IT IS STRESSFUL WHEN YOU ARE LATE GETTING TO A PARTY OR THE TRAFFIC IS BAD AND YOU ARE RUNNING LATE FOR WORK. WHAT IF YOU HAVE LOST YOUR JOB AND YOU HAVE NO MONEY FOR RENT OR TO BUY FOOD FOR THE KIDS? THERE IS A BIG DIFFERENCE IN THE STRESS LEVELS, RIGHT?
IT CAN GET UGLY BUT, PRAISE GOD, WE HAVE A WAY OUT. MATTHEW 11:28-30 SAYS "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light." AND 1ST PETER 5:6-7 SAYS "Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you."
WE CAN CAST ALL OUR CARE UPON JESUS. DOESN'T THAT SOUND BETTER THAN TRYING TO HANDLE THINGS BY OURSELVES? JUST ALWAYS REMEMBER THAT GOD IS LOVE AND HE LOVES US AND WANTS THE BEST FOR US. WE JUST HAVE TO LET HIM DO IT. WHY DON'T YOU JUST TRY IT AND DO AWAY WITH THAT STRESS? IF YOU PUT IT ALL ON JESUS, THEN YOU HAVE TO HAVE FAITH THAT HE WILL TAKE CARE OF IT. AND, DON'T TRY TO HELP HIM, I AM SURE HE CAN GET THE JOB DONE. TRUST HIM ! ! !
AND JUST REMEMBER IF SOMEONE HELPS YOU WITH MONEY OR A GIFT IN ANY FORM, PLEASE ACCEPT IT. GOD IS NOT GOING TO COUNTERFEIT MONEY. HE WORKS THROUGH PEOPLE. JUST READ THIS SCRIPTURE. LUKE 6:38 "Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again." SEE, IT SAYS SHALL "MEN" GIVE INTO YOUR BOSOM. DON'T TAKE AWAY A BLESSING FROM SOMEONE THAT IS JUST OBEYING GOD. WHEN YOU GET BACK ON YOUR FEET YOU CAN BLESS SOMEONE ELSE. I WILL LEAVE YOU WITH THIS SCRIPTURE.
ACTS 20:35 "I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive."
