I AM A CHRISTIAN
I PUT THIS OUT ONCE BEFORE AND I AM JUST GOING TO COPY THIS AGAIN. I THINK IT IS GOOD AND I HOPE YOU DO ALSO.
WHEN I SAY "I AM A CHRISTIAN", I AM NOT SHOUTING THAT I AM LIVING A CLEAN LIFE BUT WHISPERING THAT I WAS LOST BUT NOW I'M FOUND AND FORGIVEN.
WHEN I SAY "I AM A CHRISTIAN", I DON'T SPEAK OF THIS WITH PRIDE BUT AM CONFESSING THAT I STUMBLED AND NEED JESUS TO BE MY GUIDE.
WHEN I SAY "I AM A CHRISTIAN", I AM NOT TRYING TO BE STRONG BUT PROFESSING THAT I AM WEAK AND NEED JESUS'S STRENGTH TO CARRY ON.
WHEN I SAY "I AM A CHRISTIAN", I AM NOT BRAGGING OF SUCCESS BUT AM ADMITTING I HAVE FAILED AND NEED JESUS TO CLEAN UP MY MESS.
WHEN I SAY "I AM A CHRISTIAN", I AM NOT CLAIMING TO BE PERFECT. MY FLAWS ARE FAR TOO VISIBLE BUT GOD BELIEVES I AM WORTH IT.
WHEN I SAY "I AM A CHRISTIAN", I STILL FEEL THE STING OF PAIN AND HAVE MY SHARE OF HEADACHES AND THAT IS WHEN I CALL UPON THE NAME OF JESUS.
WHEN I SAY "I AM A CHRISTIAN", I AM NOT SAYING THAT I AM HOLIER THAN YOU BUT JUST SAYING I WAS JUST A SINNER WHO RECEIVED GOD'S GRACE.
IN SUMMING THIS UP, BECAUSE OF WHAT JESUS DID FOR ME, I AM ABLE TO OVERCOME EVERYTHING THROUGH HIM. ALL I HAD TO DO IS BELIEVE AND RECEIVE THE GIFT OF SALVATION, (ROMANS 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.)
MY HEALING (1ST. PETER 2:24 Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.)
A PROSPEROUS LIFE (3RD JOHN 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.)
THROUGH THE ATONEMENT, JESUS TOOK MY SINS SO I COULD HAVE A PERSONAL RELATIONSHIP WITH GOD, BY THE STRIPES HE TOOK, I WAS HEALED, AND BECAUSE OF HIS LOVE, I CAN PROSPER. HE DID IT ALL.
ALL OF THIS CAN BE YOURS IF YOU JUST USE YOUR FAITH AND BELIEVE THAT THE THINGS HE HAS PROMISED ARE FOR YOU. NOW IT IS UP TO YOU.

Very well said David. I can relate as others Can to. You know it’s interesting that being a Christian in the first or second century might have been a lot different than what it is today. They still believed in Christ. Even Isaiah foretold Christ’s coming. As I think Moses wrote about him also
I think many Christians want to hear Christ tell them well done good and faithful servant. I don’t think they had the Internet in the first and second century. Being a Christian was really being a Christian. A Christian believes in the Lord being the biblical Lord Jesus Christ. A person could be a stray sheep. A sheep that is not willing to be caught. Then you’ll hear I never knew you. Or in your case as many of us we’re not perfect but we are true Christians. It’s not easy being a Christian and doing God‘s will in a world that opposes his will. On the day of the Lord the world will find out the cost of that opposition. The same as on Judgement day.
Sometimes when we write about being a Christian in a blog such as I have before people being different Christians might take it personally. At least you’re not prideful and you admit your faults. But I think many Christians treat other Christians with hostility. That’s not good. Paul said you have to rebuke with long suffering. Why? You have to protect his affairs. You have to protect what he gave you. Many people have the spirit of the world that is rebellious. A true serious Christian can be assured that greater is he that is in them that is in the world.
