DON'T ARGUE ABOUT THE BIBLE
HAVE YOU EVER TALKED WITH SOMEONE WHO SAID THEY WERE AN AGNOSTIC? I HAVE AND I SERIOUSLY DOUBT IF SOME OF THEM EVEN KNEW WHAT THE WORD MEANT. THE DICTIONARY SAYS IT IS "ONE WHO IS SKEPTICAL ABOUT THE EXISTENCE OF GOD BUT DOES NOT PROFESS TRUE ATHEISM". SOME OF THEM EVEN SAY THEY DO BELIEVE IN A "SUPREME BEING" BUT IT IS NOT THE GOD OF THE BIBLE. GIVE ME A BREAK, IF NOT THE GOD OF THE BIBLE, WHO DO THEY BELIEVE THAT THE SUPREME BEING IS, AN ALIEN?
IN MY OPINION, THEY ARE SERVANTS OF SATAN TO DISRUPT CHURCH SERVICES, BIBLE STUDIES, AND EVERYTHING THEY CAN BE A PART OF. THE BAD THING IS THAT WHEN YOU TRY TO EXPLAIN HOW WRONG THEY ARE, THEY ALWAYS HAVE SOME CLEVER ANSWER. IT IS BEST NOT TO EVEN TRY TO SHOW THEM THE TRUTH BUT JUST PRAY FOR THEM.
I AM SURE THEY KNOW THAT THERE IS A GOD OF THE BIBLE BECAUSE OF WHAT THE SCRIPTURE SAYS. IT PLAINLY TELLS US THIS IN ROMANS 1:18-20 WHICH SAYS " For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness; Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them. For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse."
OLD TESTAMENT SCRIPTURES TELLS US THAT GOD HAS REVEALED HIMSELF TO EVERYONE THROUGH NATURE IN PSALMS 19:1-3 WHICH SAYS "The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge. There is no speech nor language, where their voice is not heard.
SO, IF SOMEONE IS TRYING TO ARGUE WITH YOU AS TO WHETHER OR NOT GOD IS REAL, DON'T FALL INTO THEIR TRAP. JUST TELL THEM YOU WILL PRAY FOR THEM AND WALK AWAY. GOD HAS A PLAN FOR THEM. IT SAYS IN VERSES 22-24 IN THAT SAME CHAPTER IN ROMANS THAT "Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools, and changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and four footed beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves." LET'S LET GOD DO OUR BIDDING WHEN IT COMES TO THESE PEOPLE. HE CAN HANDLE IT QUITE WELL.
