HAVE YOU ASKED?
DO YOU SOMETIMES FEEL DOWN AND OUT AND EVERYTHING YOU TRY TO DO JUST IS NOT WORKING OUT? YOU TRY TO MAKE YOUR MONEY STRETCH TO PUT FOOD ON THE TABLE AND TO PAY ALL THE BILLS BUT IT SEEMS TO NEVER GO FAR ENOUGH. WELL, IF THIS IS YOU AND YOU HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING YOU KNOW TO DO, I HAVE THE ANSWER FOR YOU. JUST ASK. IT SOUNDS SIMPLE, AND IT IS IF YOU JUST HAVE FAITH AND BELIEVE WHAT THE LORD TELLS US IN HIS WORD. IT'S SAD THAT WE TRY EVERYTHING FIRST AND THEN ASK THE LORD FOR HELP WHEN THAT IS THE FIRST THING WE SHOULD HAVE DONE.
PROVERBS 3:5-6 TELLS US EXACTLY WHAT WE HAVE TO DO WHERE IT SAYS "Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths." THE MAIN THING IS TO ASK YOURSELF ARE YOU TRUSTING HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART. IF YOU ARE, THEN ASK HIM TO HELP YOU. JESUS TELLS US IN JOHN 14:13 "Whatsoever ye shall ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son." THERE IS ANOTHER PASSAGE I ALSO LIKE IN MATTHEW 7:7 WHERE HE SAYS TO "Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth, and to him that knocketh it shall be opened." IT DOES NOT GET ANY CLEARER THAN THAT. HE DOESN'T SAY HE MIGHT GIVE IT TO YOU. HAVE YOU ASKED AND DO YOU TRUST HIM WITH ALL YOUR HEART? IF YOU HAVE, JUST ASK.
THERE ARE CONDITIONS TO ASKING THOUGH. YOU MUST ASK IN HIS WILL. HE WILL NEVER GO AGAINST HIS OWN WILL. JUST BELIEVE AND HAVE FAITH TO KNOW HIS WORD IS TRUE.
