I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

WAS JESUS POOR?
IN LUKE 9:56 IT TALKS ABOUT JESUS NOT HAVING A PLACE TO LAY HIS HEAD. ( And Jesus said unto him, Foxes have holes, and birds of the air havee nests; but the Son of man hath not where to lay his head . JOHN 12:4-6 EVEN SAYS THAT JUDAS WAS A THIEF, "Then saith one of his disciples, Judas Iscariot, Simon's son, which should betray him, Why was not this ointment sold for three hundred pence, and given to the poor? This he said, not that he cared for the poor; but because he was a thief, and had the bag, and bare what was put therein." JUDAS WAS TALKING ABOUT WHEN MARY WAS ANOINTING THE FEET OF JESUS.
THE BIBLE SAYS THAT JESUS ACTUALLY HAD A PLACE TO LIVE. IN JOHN 1 IT TELLS OF TWO DISCIPLES FOLLOWING JESUS AND ASK HIM WHERE HE LIVED. JESUS SAID FOR THEM TO COME AND SEE AND THEY STAYED WITH HIM THAT NIGHT BECAUSE IT WAS LATE. ONE OF THE TWO WAS ANDREW, PETER'S BROTHER. WHEN ANDREW LEFT JESUS PLACE HE WENT DIRECTLY TO PETER AND TOLD HIM THAT HE HAD FOUND THE MESSIAH. THIS WAS IN THE BEGINNING OF JESUS' MINISTRY.
HE LATER BECAME POOR FOR OUR SAKES. IN 2ND CORINTHIANS 8:9 IT TELLS US THIS. "For ye know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich, yet for your sakes he became poor, that ye through his poverty might be rich." SO, IF YOU ARE NOT PROSPERING IT IS YOUR OWN FAULT BECAUSE IT SAYS JESUS BECAME POOR SO WE COULD BE RICH. HE DOES NOT WANT US POOR BUT JUST REMEMBER WHAT HE DID WITH HIS WEALTH WHEN HE HAD IT. PRAY THAT YOU CAN BE A VESSEL HE CAN USE, THEN THE WEALTH YOU WILL HAVE WILL BE THE BLESSINGS OF HELPING OTHERS. I LEAVE YOU WITH THIS VERSE.... MATTHEW 6:33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.
