I AM AN 80 YEAR OLD MALE, BORN AGAIN, CHRISTIAN WITH A LOVE FOR JESUS. I DO NOT GET OUT MUCH ANYMORE BUT FIND THAT TELLING PEOPLE ABOUT THE LOVE JESUS HAS FOR THEM IS NOT ONLY WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO BUT SOMETHING THAT THE WORLD NEEDS.

IS GOD DRAWING YOU?

FOR YOU WHO ARE NOT BORN AGAIN OR DON'T REALLY KNOW FOR SURE, WHEN YOU ARE IN CHURCH AND THE PASTOR GIVES THE INVITATION, DO YOU EVER FEEL LIKE YOU SHOULD GO DOWN TO THE ALTER TO BE SAVED? MY QUESTION IS, WHY DO YOU THINK YOU NEED TO DO THAT? NOW IF YOU ARE FEELING DRAWN TO GO DOWN TO THE ALTER, MAYBE YOU ARE NOT SAVED AND IT IS GOD DRAWING YOU TO HIM. LOOK WHAT JESUS SAYS IN JOHN 6:44 "No man can come to me, except the Father which hath sent me draw him: and I will raise him up at the last day." I WOULD SUGGEST REALLY PRAYING ABOUT THIS AND GET IT SETTLED ONCE AND FOR ALL. THIS IS NOTHING TO PLAY AROUND WITH.
I HAVE TALKED TO PEOPLE THAT SAY THEY FEEL THE NEED TO ASK FORGIVENESS WHEN THEY SIN, AND THEY DO, TO KEEP SATAN FROM HAVING ACCESS INTO THEIR LIVES. HOWEVER, ALL OUR SINS HAVE ALREADY BEEN FORGIVEN, PAST, PRESENT AND FUTURE, AND WHEN WE DO SIN, JESUS TELLS US TO ASK FORGIVENESS FOR THAT SIN AND THE FORGIVENESS THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN GIVEN IS APPLIED TO THOSE SINS. HOWEVER, IF YOU ARE COMMITTING THE SAME SIN OVER AND OVER AGAIN, AND CONTINUE TO DO SO, WERE YOU REALLY SINCERE WHEN YOU ASKED FORGIVENESS? REPENT MEANS "to feel such sorrow for sin or fault as to be disposed to change one's life for the better" AND IF YOU ARE COMMITTING THE SAME SIN OVER AND OVER AGAIN, THIS IS NOT REPENTING. JESUS SAYS IN LUKE 13:3 "except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish." IF THIS IS YOU, YOU REALLY NEED TO TALK TO JESUS ABOUT IT.
ONE OTHER THING, IF YOU ARE ASKING FORGIVENESS SO JESUS WILL STILL LOVE YOU AND YOU WON'T GO TO HELL, I HAVE GREAT NEWS FOR YOU. DON'T EVER THINK THAT ANYTHING OR ANYONE CAN SEPARATE YOU FROM THE LOVE OF JESUS. I WILL LEAVE YOU WITH THIS SCRIPTURE IN ROMANS 8:38-39 WHICH SAYS "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord." WE ARE IN JESUS AND JESUS IS IN US. JOHN 14:20 JESUS SAYS "At that day ye shall know that I am in my Father, and ye in me, and I in you. JESUS DID IT ALL. THE ONLY WAY YOU CAN LOSE YOUR SALVATION IS TO PERSONALLY TELL JESUS YOU DO NOT WANT HIM TO BE YOUR SAVIOR ANY MORE. HE GAVE US A FREE WILL AND WILL NOT GO AGAINST YOUR WILL. HE WILL LET YOU GO TO HELL.
SO MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS IN CHRIST JESUS, PLEASE BE SURE OF YOUR SALVATION. IF YOU WERE BORN TWICE, PLEASE DON'T DIE TWICE. REVELATIONS 21:7-8 SAYS "He that overcometh shall inherit all things; and I will be his God, and he shall be my son. But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death." YOU DO NOT WANT TO DIE TWICE.
