JUST SPEAK THE WORD
HAVE YOU EVER REALIZED HOW MUCH POWER IS IN EITHER THE SPOKEN OR WRITTEN WORD? WORDS REALLY ARE POWERFUL. JESUS SAYS IN MATTHEW 12:34-37 "O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth forth good things: and an evil man out of the evil treasure bringeth forth evil things. But I say unto you, That every idle word that men shall speak, they shall give account thereof in the day of judgment. For by thy words thou shalt be justified, and by thy words thou shalt be condemned." WE HAVE TO WATCH WHAT WE SAY THAT OUR WORDS ARE NOT IDLE WORDS.
GOD USED WORDS IN THE MOST POWERFUL WAY. HE SPOKE THE WORLD INTO EXISTENCE. WHEN THE CENTURION, IN MATTHEW 8:5-10, TOLD JESUS THAT HIS SERVANT WAS SICK OF THE PALSY AND WAS TORMENTED, JESUS TOLD HIM HE WOULD GO HOME WITH HIM AND HEAL HIS SERVANT. THE CENTURION TOLD JESUS THAT HE WAS NOT WORTHY OF JESUS COMING INTO HIS HOUSE BUT IF HE WOULD JUST SPEAK THE WORD HE KNEW HIS SERVANT WOULD BE HEALED. JUST SPEAK THE WORD. LOOK WHAT JESUS DID AND SAID IN VERSE 10 "When Jesus heard it, he marvelled, and said to them that followed, Verily I say unto you, I have not found so great faith, no, not in Israel." THAT KIND OF FAITH IS WHAT WILL GET YOU HEALED OR ANYTHING ELSE YOU NEED.
JESUS EVEN SAYS HIS WORDS ARE LIFE. (JOHN 6:63 It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.) THIS IS WHY I TALK SO MUCH ABOUT STUDYING THE BIBLE BECAUSE IT IS GOD'S WORD. HOW ELSE WILL WE KNOW WHAT HE WANTS US TO DO AND HOW TO RECEIVE THAT LIFE?
I LOVE TO PRAY THE WORD OF GOD SO I WILL LEAVE YOU WITH THIS AND IT IS FOUND IN PSALMS 19:14. WE SHOULD ALL BE PRAYING THIS......"Let the words of my mouth, and the meditation of my heart, be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength, and my redeemer." I PRAY THIS RIGHT NOW IN YOUR HOLY NAME, JESUS. AMEN.
