CAN YOU BE SAVED?
TO ALL YOU THAT ARE LOST THAT MIGHT BE READING THIS MESSAGE, DO YOU EVER FEEL LIKE YOU HAVE SINNED SO MUCH DURING YOUR LIFETIME THAT GOD COULD NEVER FORGIVE YOU? WELL, LET'S LOOK AT A COUPLE OF THE PEOPLE IN THE BIBLE AND IT MIGHT CHANGE YOUR MIND.
FATHER ABRAHAM SURE DIDN'T LIVE A HOLY LIFE. HE HAD MARRIED SARAH, HIS HALF SISTER, AND ACCORDING TO LEVITICUS 18:9 AND 26, THIS WAS AN ABOMINATION. (9) The nakedness of thy sister, the daughter of thy father, or daughter of thy mother, whether she be born at home, or born abroad, even their nakedness thou shalt not uncover. (26) Ye shall therefore keep my statutes and my judgments, and shall not commit any of these abominations; neither any of your own nation, nor any stranger that sojourneth among you
EVEN AFTER THIS GOD STILL SAID IN GENESIS 17:5 Neither shall thy name any more be called Abram, but thy name shall be Abraham; for a father of many nations have I made thee. GOD EVEN LET ABRAHAM SEE JESUS. JOHN 8:56 SAYS "Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day: and he saw it, and was glad." IF THAT DIDN'T PROVE ANYTHING FOR YOU, LET'S KEEP GOING.KING DAVID ALSO DID SOME PRETTY BAD THINGS BY SLEEPING WITH ANOTHER MAN'S WIFE AND THEN SENDING HER HUSBAND TO THE FRONT LINES IN BATTLE SO HE WOULD BE KILLED. BUT GOD STILL SAID IN ACTS 13:22 I have found David the son of Jesse, a man after mine own heart, which shall fulfil all my will. NOW THAT WAS REALLY BAD BUT GOD DEALT WITH PEOPLE DIFFERENTLY UNDER THE OLD COVENANT.
IT IS DIFFERENT UNDER THE NEW COVENANT. JESUS DIDN'T JUST DIE FOR THE CHRISTIAN'S SINS, HE DIED FOR ALL SIN. (1 JOHN 2:1-2 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.) SIN IS NOT THE ISSUE, BUT YOU STILL HAVE TO ASK FOR FORGIVENESS AND ACCEPT JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR.
SO, IF YOU WERE THINKING YOU WERE LOST...GOOD NEWS...YOU ARE NOT...IF YOU WILL RECEIVE JESUS' GIFT OF SALVATION. IF YOU HAVEN'T DONE THIS, PLEASE DO IT TODAY. YOU MUST TRULY BELIEVE THE GOSPEL OF JESUS, THAT HE DIED FOR YOUR SINS, WAS BURIED AND ROSE THE THIRD DAY. TODAY MAY BE YOUR LAST DAY TO DO THIS AND THEN YOU ARE LOST FOREVER. PLEASE DON'T LET THIS HAPPEN. JESUS LOVES YOU AND WANTS YOU WITH HIM IN HEAVEN WHEN YOU LEAVE THIS WORLD.
