HAVE FAITH, NOT FEAR
I KNOW THERE IS A LOT OF GARBAGE GOING AROUND ON HOW BAD THINGS ARE AND IT SEEMS TO STIR UP A LOT OF FEAR IN SOME PEOPLE. WELL, LET ME TELL YOU SOME THINGS ABOUT FEAR. 1ST JOHN 4:18 SAYS "There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love." FEAR IS A TOOL THE DEVIL USES TO GET YOUR MINDS OFF OF JESUS. WE JUST HAVE TO TRUST IN JESUS TO KEEP US AND OUR FAMILY SAFE.
AFTER ONE TIME WHEN JESUS WAS TEACHING THE MULTITUDE AND SENT THEM AWAY, HE SAID TO HIS DISCIPLES IN MARK 4:35 "Let us pass over unto the other side." THEY HAD PUSHED OFF FROM THE LAND AND IN MARK 4:37-40 IT SAYS "And there arose a great storm of wind, and the waves beat into the ship, so that it was now full. And he was in the hinder part of the ship, asleep on a pillow: and they awake him, and say unto him, Master, carest thou not that we perish? And he arose, and rebuked the wind, and said unto the sea, Peace, be still. And the wind ceased, and there was a great calm. And he said unto them, Why are ye so fearful? how is it that ye have no faith?"
FEAR AND FAITH CAN'T EXIST TOGETHER. HEBREWS 11:1 SAYS "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." FAITH DOES HAVE SUBSTANCE BUT SOME GET FEARFUL OF WHAT THEY BELIEVE TO BE THE UNKNOWN. TO BE FEARFUL AND UNBELIEVING IS TO BE WEAK IN FAITH. IT EVEN SAYS THIS ABOUT JESUS IN MATTHEW 13:57-58 And they were offended in him. But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, save in his own country, and in his own house. And he did not many mighty works there because of their unbelief.
I SAID ALL OF THIS TO MAKE A POINT. BE CAREFUL AND DO WHAT YOU HAVE TO DO TO TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF AND YOUR FAMILY WITH THIS VIRUS GOING AROUND. JUST DON'T GET FEARFUL. TRUST IN JESUS AND HAVE FAITH IN HIM TO KEEP YOU AND YOUR FAMILY FROM HARM. THE BIBLE SAYS THAT HIS NAME IS ABOVE EVERY NAME SO USE HIS NAME TO CAST OUT THAT VIRUS. STAND OF THE SCRIPTURE PSALMS 91:10-11 There shall no evil befall thee, neither shall any plague come nigh thy dwelling. For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways. IT IS GOOD TO SAY IT OUT LOUD EVERY MORNING. SATAN CAN'T READ OUR MINDS SO I SAY IT OUT LOUD SO HE CAN HEAR ME AND WILL KNOW JUST WHERE I STAND AND THAT IS WITH JESUS.
