ARE YOU BEING DECEIVED? SATAN WILL USE ANYONE AND EVERYTHING TO GET YOU TO DO THINGS YOU SHOULDN'T DO. HE WILL MAKE IT LOOK SO TEMPTING AND THEN GIVE YOU A HUNDRED REASONS WHY YOU DESERVE IT AND THAT IT ISN'T WRONG. DECEPTION CAN BE AVOIDED OR ELSE JESUS WOULD NOT HAVE SAID IN MATHEW 24:4 "TAKE HEED THAT NO MAN DECEIVE YOU." SATAN WILL USE MEN AND WOMEN TO DECEIVE YOU SO BE AWARE.
SATAN IS THE DECEIVER AND YOU CAN SEE IN GENESIS 2 HOW HE DECEIVED EVE. GOD TOLD BOTH HER AND ADAM IN VERSE 17 "But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die." NOW IN GENESIS 3:1-6 LOOK WHAT SATAN SAYS:
"Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden? And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden: But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die. And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die: For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil. And when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree to be desired to make one wise, she took of the fruit thereof, and did eat, and gave also unto her husband with her; and he did eat."
THIS IS WHERE ADAM SINNED BECAUSE HE WAS RIGHT THERE WITH HER AND DID NOT STOP HER.
PAUL, IN 2ND CORINTHIANS 11:3, WAS EVEN CONCERNED THAT WE WILL BE DECEIVED WHEN HE SAID, "But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent’s cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ." IT IS CERTAINLY A BATTLE THAT WE MUST WIN. YOU WOULDN'T GO TO WAR WITHOUT PROTECTION AND, BELIEVE ME, WE ARE IN A WAR. JESUS GIVES US THE PERFECT PROTECTION WHEN HE GAVE US THE FULL ARMOUR OF GOD.
WE HAVE TO REALIZE THAT SIN STARTS IN THE MIND AND THE HELMET OF SALVATION IS A PIECE OF THAT ARMOUR. PUT IT ON EVERY MORNING SO YOU WILL BE PREPARED. IT WOULD BE A GOOD IDEA TO PUT ON THE REST OF THE ARMOUR AND ON YOUR WHOLE FAMILY. WHY TAKE A CHANCE. JESUS LOVES US AND WANTS THE BEST FOR US AND HAS GIVEN US EVERYTHING WE NEED TO LIVE A HEALTHY AND PROSPEROUS LIFE. I AM GOING TO USE EVERYTHING HE HAS GIVEN US, HOW ABOUT YOU?
