"SUPERNATURAL FAITH" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"SUPERNATURAL FAITH" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

John 20:25 "The other disciples therefore said unto him, We have seen the Lord. But he said unto them, Except I shall see in his hands the print of the nails, and put my finger into the print of the nails, and thrust my hand into his side, I will not believe."

Thomas refused to believe what He couldn't see or feel. Our five senses were given to us by God and are necessary to help us function in this life. But if we do not renew our minds to acknowledge the limits of our five senses, they will keep us from believing. Faith can perceive things that the senses cannot (Heb. 11:1).

There is a human faith and a supernatural, God-kind of faith. Human faith is based on physical things that we can see, taste, hear, smell, or feel. God's kind of faith believes independently of physical circumstances. To receive God's gift of salvation, we have to use the supernatural, God-kind of faith...

"CHERISH YOUR MEMORIES" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

DO YOU HAVE A FAMILY MEMBER, OR EVEN KNOW SOMEONE, WHO HAS ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE?  I DO AND IT IS JUST A TOOL OF THE DEVIL TO STOP YOU FROM THINKING ON GOD'S WORD OR STUDYING IT.  DON'T LET SATAN MAKE YOU FORGET ABOUT JESUS AND WHAT HE DID FOR US ALL.

MY MOM HAD ALZHEIMER'S DISEASE AND I REMEMBER WHEN I WENT TO HER 90TH BIRTHDAY PARTY, KISSED HER, TOLD HER I LOVED HER AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY.  SHE LOOKED AT ME AND ASKED, "NOW WHO ARE YOU?" ALTHOUGH I TOLD HER, SHE NEVER REMEMBERED ME AND I WAS HER BABY, THE YOUNGEST OF EIGHT KIDS.  IT WAS REALLY SAD.

I GOT TO THINKING ABOUT THIS TODAY AND WENT ON-LINE TO THE ALZHEIMER'S ASSOCIATION NETWORK TO SEE IF THERE IS ANYTHING THEY HAVE FOUND OUT THAT MIGHT HELP.  THEIR STUDY SHOWS "Mental decline as you age appears to be largely due to altered connections among brain cells. But research has found that keeping the brain...

"THE FAITH TO FORGIVE" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

"THE FAITH TO FORGIVE" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

I BELIEVE THE BASIS FOR FORGIVENESS IS THE LOVE AND GRACE THAT GOD HAS FOR US.  1ST JOHN 4:19 SAYS "We love him, because he first loved us."  ALSO, EPHESIANS 2:8 SAYS "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God."

IT IS ONLY BECAUSE GOD FIRST LOVED AND FORGAVE US THAT WE CAN LOVE AND FORGIVE OTHERS.  HOW CAN WE MINISTER FORGIVENESS TO OTHERS IF WE ARE NOT WALKING IN THE FORGIVENESS OF GOD?  HE FORGAVE US BEFORE WE REPENTED OR EVEN ASKED FOR FORGIVENESS.  WE ARE TO FORGIVE OTHERS THEIR TRESPASSES JUST LIKE GOD FORGAVE US OUR TRESPASSES. WE SHOULD FORGIVE WHETHER OR NOT THE OTHER PERSON REPENTS OR WANTS OUR FORGIVENESS.  HOWEVER, I DON'T BELIEVE A RELATIONSHIP CAN BE COMPLETELY RESTORED UNTIL THERE IS REPENTANCE ON THEIR PART.

FOR EXAMPLE, WE SHOULD FORGIVE OUR MATE FOR ANYTHING, EVEN ADULTERY.  HOWEVER, IF THERE IS NO TRUE...

"THE EFFECTS OF SIN" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"THE EFFECTS OF SIN" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

John 20:23 "Whose soever sins ye remit, they are remitted unto them; and whose soever sins ye retain, they are retained."

The meaning of this verse has been hotly debated for centuries. One thing is certain, it does not mean we have the power to justify a person from his sins so he can be born again; only God can do that.

Many people have taught that Jesus is saying, that if we fail to witness to others, we are retaining their sins unto them, and if we do share His love with others, then we are remitting their sins. Although there is truth in this statement, it is not what this verse is teaching. Rather, this verse deals with the temporal effects that sin has on a person's life. Not only is there a future death penalty for sin, but sin destroys us emotionally and physically in this life too. It is this present destruction that sin brings into a person's life that Jesus gave us...

'HOW DO YOU READ THE BIBLE?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

'HOW DO YOU READ THE BIBLE?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

THERE ARE A LOT OF THINGS IN THIS MESSAGE THAT SOME OF YOU HAVE HEARD ME SAY IN SO MANY OTHER WAYS BUT AS I HAVE SAID, IT IS IMPORTANT.   JUST BARE WITH AN OLD MAN AS THERE MIGHT BE SOMEONE THAT HAS NOT HEARD THIS AND REALLY NEEDS IT.  THERE ARE SO MANY THINGS IN THE BIBLE THAT SO MANY CHRISTIANS DON'T UNDERSTAND. THE REASON FOR THIS IS THAT THEY JUST SKIM OVER THE WORDS AND NEVER REALLY TAKE IN ALL THAT IT IS SAYING.  LET'S LOOK AT A FEW THINGS.

DO YOU KNOW THAT JESUS NEVER PREACHED ABOUT US RECEIVING HIM AS OUR SAVIOR? HIS MESSAGE WAS TO BELIEVE ON HIM AND YOU WILL BE SAVED.  JUST SAY JOHN 3:16 IN YOUR MIND AND YOU WILL SEE.  HE COULD NOT HAVE PREACHED THE GOSPEL THAT WAS GIVEN TO PAUL BECAUSE JESUS HAD NOT YET DIED.

HAVE YOU EVER WONDERED WHY JESUS' DISCIPLES WERE NOT AT THE GRAVE ON THAT THIRD...

"MINISTER THE GOOD NEWS" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"MINISTER THE GOOD NEWS" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

John 20:21 "Then said Jesus to them again, Peace be unto you: as my Father hath sent me, even so send I you."

The dictionary states that to reconcile means to re-establish friendship between; to settle or resolve, as a dispute. The key to reconciliation is to effectively deal with the enmity, ill will, hatred, or hostility that caused the dispute, etc.

The enmity between man and God was sin. God took the initiative to remove this barrier through the means and agency of Jesus Christ, thus leaving man and God as friends once again.

We have received the ministry of reconciliation. That means we are in the ministry of reconciling people to God. Much of what people call the gospel today is actually alienating man from God. True, we need to show people their need for God to get them to receive His forgiveness and reconciliation, but the angry and bitter attitude some people...

"LISTENING TO GOD'S WORD" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

DO YOU EVER GET TIRED OF THE TV EVANGELIST ALWAYS ASKING FOR MONEY?  THEY HAVE A HALF HOUR PROGRAM AND TEN MINUTES ARE TAKEN UP WANTING TO SELL YOU ONE OF THEIR BOOKS OR TEACHING TAPES.  I KNOW THEY NEED MONEY TO PUT ON THEIR PROGRAMS BUT THERE MUST BE A BETTER WAY OF DOING IT.  I WILL GIVE YOU TWO WAYS THAT I KNOW OF THAT REALLY WORKS.

I GET MOST OF MY TEACHING FROM ANDREW WOMMACK MINISTRIES, INC.   ANDREW TEACHES THE WORD AND BACKS UP EVERYTHING HE TEACHES WITH SCRIPTURE.  THAT IS WHY I ENJOY LISTENING TO HIM SO MUCH BECAUSE I CAN GO TO THOSE SCRIPTURES AND CHECK THEM OUT.  HE NEVER ASK FOR MONEY.  SURE HE HAS TEACHINGS THAT YOU CAN BUY BUT YOU DON'T HAVE TO BECAUSE ALL OF HIS TEACHINGS ARE ON HIS WEB SITE, FREE TO DOWNLOAD, OR JUST LISTEN TO ON YOUR COMPUTER.  HE SAYS HE NEVER HAS TO ASK FOR MONEY BECAUSE HE JUST ASKS GOD TO SUPPLY THE MONEY HE NEEDS.  HE STANDS ON THE...

"GOD POURS OUT HIS SPIRIT" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"GOD POURS OUT HIS SPIRIT" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Luke 24:49 "And, behold, I send the promise of my Father upon you: but tarry ye in the city of Jerusalem, until ye be endued with power from on high."

John's baptism was a baptism with water unto repentance for the remission of sins. John preached that the Lamb of God came to take away the sins of the world (Jn. 1:29), but he didn't administer the baptism of the Holy Spirit.

However, both John the Baptist and Jesus prophesied the church age, when believers would be baptized with the Holy Ghost.

The baptism of the Holy Spirit came on the day of Pentecost, but it was not only for these few individuals. Peter said in Acts 2:39, "For the promise is unto you, and to your children, and to all that are afar off, even as many as the Lord our God shall call." This same power is available to all believers today.

The promise of the Spirit being poured out on "all flesh" is...

"YOU DO HAVE GODLY POWERS" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

HAVE YOU EVER CONSIDERED THE POWER THAT WE HAVE?  IF WE ALL COULD JUST REALIZE THIS AND REALLY GET IT INTO OUR WHOLE BEING, THERE IS NOTHING WE COULD NOT DO.  I WOULD LIKE TO POINT OUT JUST A FEW THINGS THAT JESUS DID AND HE SAID IN JOHN 14:12 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also; and greater works than these shall he do; because I go unto my Father.  DID YOU SEE THAT....."GREATER WORKS SHALL WE DO".

HE FED FIVE THOUSAND, PLUS WOMEN AND CHILDREN, IN ONE SITTING, AND FOUR THOUSAND, PLUS WOMEN AND CHILDREN, IN ANOTHER SITTING, WITH JUST A FEW FISHES AND LOAVES OF BREAD?  HE  SAID WE WOULD DO GREATER THAN THIS.  HOW ABOUT WALKING ON WATER OR HEALING THE SICK OR RAISING SOMEONE FROM THE DEAD.  AGAIN, HE SAID WE WOULD DO GREATER THAN THESE THINGS.  DO WE BELIEVE THIS?  YOU SEE, THAT IS OUR PROBLEM.  IT TAKES GREAT FAITH TO...

"KINDS OF EVANGELISM" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"KINDS OF EVANGELISM" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Luke 24:48 "And ye are witnesses of these things."

One of the great mistakes of the modern church is to think that evangelism is something done within the four walls of the church building. Acts 8:1-4 makes it apparent that evangelism was not done by the pastor or clergy but by believers that went everywhere preaching the Word (Acts 8:4).

Some methods of evangelism mentioned in scripture are: (1) House to house evangelism - "...and in every house, they ceased not to teach and preach Jesus Christ" (Acts 5:42). (2) Personal one-on-one evangelism - Philip ministered to the Ethiopian eunuch (Acts 8:26-38), Paul to Sergius Paulus (Acts 13:7), Jesus to Mary Magdalene, Nicodemus, the woman at the well, the thief on the cross, and others. There are around 35 such instances recorded in the Gospels alone. (3) Evangelism to large crowds - Peter ministered to the crowds in Jerusalem at...
