"MAKE SURE YOU KNOW GOD'S WORD" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

MAKE SURE YOU KNOW GOD'S WORD

WHAT IF YOUR PASTOR, OR SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER, PREACHED OR TAUGHT SOMETHING THAT DID NOT LINE UP WITH GOD'S WORD? WOULD YOU KNOW IT? DO YOU STUDY WHAT WAS PREACHED OR TAUGHT WHEN YOU GET HOME OR AT LEASE SOMETIMES DURING THE WEEK?

YOU KNOW THIS IS WHAT WE ARE SUPPOSED TO DO. THERE ARE A LOT OF FALSE PREACHERS AND TEACHERS OUT THERE (2ND PETER 2:1 But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Lord that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction).

JUST REMEMBER THOUGH, THEY DO...

"HYPOCRISY IS......" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Hypocrisy Is.....

Luke 12:1 'In the mean time, when there were gathered together an innumerable multitude of people, insomuch that they trode one upon another, he began to say unto his disciples first of all, Beware ye of the leaven of the Pharisees, which is hypocrisy.'

LUKE 12:1-3

This is the biblical definition of a hypocrite, 'someone whose words and heart (actions) don't agree.' A hypocrite may act the part of a Christian or talk like Christ, but he or she won't do both. Hypocrisy is defined by the dictionary as, 'The feigning of beliefs, feelings, or virtues that one does not hold or possess; insincerity' (American Heritage Dictionary). In the Greek, the word is 'hupokrisis' and means 'the playing of a part on the stage.'

BE PREPARED FOR THE WAR

DO YOU KNOW THAT WE CHRISTIANS ARE IN A WAR WITH THE DEVIL? IF THIS WASN'T TRUE THE BIBLE WOULD NOT TELL US TO RESIST THE DEVIL AND HE WILL FLEE FROM US. WE SHOULD BIND SATAN AND ALL HIS DEMON FORCES OF HELL AND DARKNESS EVERY DAY AND CAST THEM ALL OUT OF OUR LIVES. IT TELLS US IN MATTHEW 18:18 "Verily I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever ye shall loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven."

IN EPHESIANS 6 IT TELLS US WHAT WE ARE FIGHTING AGAINST. (For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against...

"JESUS, THE WISDOM OF GOD" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Jesus, The Wisdom Of God

Luke 11:49 'Therefore also said the wisdom of God, I will send them prophets and apostles, and some of them they shall slay and persecute.'

LUKE 11:46-49

This phrase 'Therefore also said the wisdom of God,' is a part of Luke's narrative and not the words of Jesus. Luke is saying that Jesus is the wisdom of God, a truth well-established in scripture.

There is no way to access the wisdom of God except through Jesus. Until a person receives Christ, he is missing the only source of true wisdom. Men and women are incapable of receiving the wisdom of God, but those who submit themselves to God have access to the wisdom of God on their own, through the Holy Spirit. We must be dependent upon the Holy Spirit to...

JESUS IS THE ONLY WAY TO HEAVEN

SOME PEOPLE PROBABLY GOT UPSET WITH ME WHEN I SAID THAT HITLER COULD BE IN HEAVEN. HOWEVER, IT IS TRUE IF YOU BELIEVE THE WORD OF GOD. THE WORD SAYS THAT IF WE CONFESS OUR SINS, ACCEPT JESUS AS OUR SAVIOR AND TRULY BELIEVE THAT JESUS DIED FOR OUR SINS, WAS BURIED, AND ROSE FROM THE DEAD WE WILL BE SAVED. IF HITLER DID THIS BEFORE HE DIED, NO MATTER HOW BAD HE WAS, HE IS SAVED. IT WAS THE SAME WHEN WE GOT SAVED, WE WERE SINNERS AND SIN, IS SIN. JESUS HATES THE SIN BUT LOVED US AND DIED TO TAKE AWAY OUR SINS. IT WOULD HAVE BEEN THE SAME WITH HITLER.

"HOLINESS IS A FRUIT" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Holiness Is A Fruit

Luke 11:42 'But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done and not to leave the other undone.'

LUKE 11:42-44

When Jesus said, 'and not to leave the other undone,' it is clear that He is not arguing against doing what is right. God's Word stresses holiness in our actions. The Pharisees' error that caused Jesus' rebuke was that they believed their actions could produce a right relationship with God. But a proper relationship with God can only come by humbling ourselves and putting faith in a Savior, who is Jesus. God cleanses our hearts by grace through faith (Eph. 2:8) and then we have our fruit unto holiness (Rom....

YOU NEED TO RECEIVE JESUS AS YOUR SAVIOR

I KNOW I ADDRESS A LOT OF MY MESSAGES TOWARD NON-BELIEVERS BECAUSE I THINK THIS IS IMPORTANT. IF I CAN REACH JUST ONE FOR JESUS, I WILL REJOICE.

SO, FOR YOU NON-BELIEVERS, I JUST WANT YOU TO KNOW YOU ARE MISSING OUT ON THE MOST IMPORTANT THING IN YOUR LIFE. THIS NOT ONLY AFFECTS YOUR FUTURE AND WHERE YOU WILL END UP IN ETERNITY BUT IT IS AFFECTING YOUR EVERYDAY LIFE. EVERLASTING LIFE DOES NOT START WHEN YOU LEAVE THIS EARTH. I WAS GOING TO SAY WHEN YOU DIE BUT WE NEVER DIE. THESE OLD BODIES WILL PASS AWAY BUT OUR SPIRITS WILL LIVE FOREVER, EITHER IN...

"GROW IN GRACE" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Grow In Grace

Luke 11:38 - 'And when the Pharisee saw it, he marvelled that he had not first washed before dinner.'

LUKE 11:37-41

A sure sign of the error of legalism is misplaced priorities, as we see here with these Pharisees. It is not recorded in Scripture that the Pharisees marveled at the wonderful works of Jesus. They were too busy looking for something to criticize (Mark 3:2). But they marveled at Jesus not washing His hands. This is a classic example of straining out a gnat and swallowing a camel (Mt. 23:24).

Those who seek to earn righteousness through keeping the Law are consumed with 'doing,' while those who receive righteousness by faith are simply confessing what has already been done. This is a simple and yet...
