"DO YOU BELIEVE THE WHOLE BIBLE?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

I KNOW I WRITE A LOT ABOUT HEALING BECAUSE IT IS IMPORTANT. IT IS THERE FOR ALL OF US BUT SOME OF YOU DON'T BELIEVE THE WHOLE BIBLE.  ALTHOUGH THERE ARE SOME THAT SAY YOU DO, I WONDER.  I SAY I WONDER BECAUSE OF WHAT PAUL SAYS IN ROMANS 5:11, "And not only so, but we also joy in God through our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement." THE WORD "ATONEMENT" USED HERE, ACCORDING TO STRONG'S CONCORDANCE, MEANS "EXCHANGE".

WE EXCHANGED OUR SINS FOR HIS RIGHTEOUSNESS.  2ND CORINTHIANS 5:21, "For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him."

John 1:46, "And Nathanael said unto him, Can there any good thing come out of Nazareth? Philip saith unto him, Come and see."

JOHN 1:43-51

Nathanael suffered from a skepticism that afflicts many people today.

However, it is to his credit that he came to the Lord and gave Him a chance to prove who He was.

We can only speculate what it was that Jesus saw Nathanael doing under that fig tree (v. 50), but it is very clear that it was something that proved beyond a doubt that Jesus was the Christ.

Jesus didn't rebuke Nathanael for his doubts, instead he removed them. The Lord has an answer for every doubt that we have. We need to be without guile before the Lord as Nathanael was (v. 47) and come to Him when we are plagued with doubts instead of running from Him or avoiding Him.

Jesus knows our frame. He remembers that we are but dust (Ps. 103:14). It is not a sin...

"DO YOU KNOW HOW IMPORTANT THE BIBLE IS?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

JUST A SHORT REMINDER TO STUDY YOUR BIBLE.  I KNOW, I AM BACK ON THAT AGAIN.  I AM TRYING TO GET OVER TO ALL OF YOU JUST HOW IMPORTANT THIS IS. IT IS ACTUALLY A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH.  WHICH WILL YOU CHOOSE.

WELL, THE LORD TELLS US IN DEUTERONOMY 30:19 TO CHOOSE LIFE.  READ IT FOR YOURSELF "I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live."

HOW OFTEN DO YOU READ YOUR BIBLE.  THIS SHOULD BE A DAILY ACTIVITY.  HOW ELSE DO YOU LEARN OF GOD'S WILL EXCEPT THROUGH HIS...

"KNOWING GOD'S PLAN" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

John 1:23, "He said, I [am] the voice of one crying in the wilderness, Make straight the way of the Lord, as said the prophet Esaias."

JOHN 1:19-36

John knew who he was and what he was called to do. This was one of the keys to his success.

Unlike most of us, John did not have an identity crisis growing up. He knew God's plan and purpose for his life from the beginning and he spent his entire life preparing for it.

God has a plan for your life just as surely as he did for John the Baptist. To succeed in life, you must find God's plan for your life and then devote yourself to fulfilling that plan.

It is not enough to simply "do your own thing" and then ask God's blessing upon it. Once you know you are doing God's will, you never have to ask for God's blessing. God's will is already blessed.

The Lord created you with a purpose in mind. Your talents and...

"SOWING AND REAPING" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

HAVE YOU SOWN ANY SEEDS THIS WEEK?  IT DOESN'T HAVE TO BE MONEY.  I KNOW WHEN PREACHERS HAVE A SERMON ON TITHING  THEY DON'T MENTION ANYTHING BUT MONEY.  WELL, MOST OF THE ONES I HAVE HEARD ANYWAY.  I GUESS THEY HAVE TO BECAUSE THEY REALLY DO NEED MONEY TO RUN THE CHURCH.  NOW IF GOD HAS BLESSED YOU WITH A LOT OF MONEY, THEN, BY ALL MEANS, SOW SOME OF IT.  MAYBE YOU HAVE THAT ABUNDANCE BECAUSE YOU HAVE BEEN SOWING.  IF THIS IS TRUE, GOD BLESS YOU.

WHAT ABOUT SOWING YOUR TIME.  SOMEONE ASK ME ONE TIME WHY WOULD I WANT TO REAP A BOUNTY OF TIME.  A BOUNTY OF TIME COULD BE VERY GOOD.  WHAT IF IT ADDED ON TO YOUR LIFE?  WHAT IF IT GAVE YOU EXTRA TIME WITH YOUR FAMILY?  I WILL TAKE ALL THE TIME I CAN GET.  HOWEVER, WE SHOULDN'T JUST SOW TO GET SOMETHING IN RETURN.  WE SHOULD GIVE BECAUSE WE WANT TO BE A BLESSING TO SOMEONE.  IN RETURN, I KNOW GOD WILL BLESS...

"SATAN'S POWER IS LIMITED" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"SATAN'S POWER IS LIMITED" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Luke 4:13, "And when the devil had ended all the temptation, he departed from him for a season."

MT. 4:1-11; MK. 1:12-13; LK. 4:1-13

The wording of this verse implies that Satan exhausted his arsenal of temptations on Jesus and then had to leave.

We have mistakenly given Satan too much credit. He does not have a limitless number of temptations that he can pull on us. As 1 Jn. 2:16 says, there are three areas where the devil tempts us: (1) the lust of the flesh, (2) the lust of the eyes, and (3) the pride of life. Jesus' three temptations correspond to these.

By ascribing to Satan limitless temptations and abilities, we have built up our adversary to be bigger than he is. The truth is, "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God [is] faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make...

"OUR ALL POWERFUL GOD" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

IS GOD OMNIPOTENT?  WE KNOW HE IS, BUT THE REAL QUESTION IS WHY DOES HE ALLOW ALL THE BAD THINGS THAT ARE HAPPENING IN THIS WORLD.  WE HAVE TO UNDERSTAND THAT GOD GAVE DOMINION OVER THE EARTH TO ADAM AND HE HAD A FREE WILL TO DO WITH IT WHAT HE WANTED TO AND WHEN HE DISOBEYED GOD, SINNED ENTERED INTO THE WORLD, BOTH IN HUMANITY AS WELL AS THE EARTH.  THAT IS WHAT IT SAYS IN ROMANS 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned.

THE HURRICANES, TORNADOES AND ALL THE OTHER BAD WEATHER IS NOT DUE TO GOD BUT HAPPENS BECAUSE THIS IS A SINFUL WORLD.  GOD GAVE US THE POWER TO CONTROL ALL THOSE THINGS SO IT IS UP TO US TO STOP THE DAMAGE THEY CAUSE.  HE CALM THE...

"THE WEAPON OF THE WORD" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"THE WEAPON OF THE WORD" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Luke 4:4, "And Jesus answered him, saying, It is written, That man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word of God."

MT. 4:1-11; MK. 1:12-13; LK. 4:1-13

Jesus answered every temptation with, "It is written." The Word of God is the sword of the Spirit (Eph. 6:17). It is the only offensive spiritual weapon that we have.

Since Jesus was the Word of God (Jn. 1:1), anything he would have spoken would have been the Word. He could have said "scat" and the devil would have had to go, yet He quoted the written Word of God three times.

This gives us great assurance that the written Word of God is sufficient for us. Jesus, in the face of the greatest temptations that Satan had to offer, did not need to say anything that was not already recorded in scripture.

It is likely that when Jesus returns to this earth and destroys His enemies, He will just speak the Word that...
