"YOU HAD BETTER KNOW GOD'S WORD" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

"YOU HAD BETTER KNOW GOD'S WORD" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

I UNDERSTAND THERE IS A PASTOR OUT THERE THAT IS SAYING THE HOLY BIBLE IS SATANIC.  THERE ARE OTHERS THAT ARE SAYING THERE MAY BE MISTAKES IN THE BIBLE.  ALL I CAN SAY IS BEWARE.

HAS YOUR PREACHER OR SUNDAY SCHOOL TEACHER EVER SAID SOMETHING THAT DIDN'T REALLY SOUND JUST RIGHT?  DID YOU GO TO THE BIBLE AND SEE IF IT WAS TRUE?  THIS IS WHAT WE ALL ARE SUPPOSED TO DO.  THE BEREANS SET AN EXAMPLE IN ACTS 17:11 These were more noble than those in Thessalonica, in that they received the word with all readiness of mind, and searched the scriptures daily, whether those things were so.

"KNOWING GOD'S WILL IS NOT ENOUGH" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Luke 1:34, "Then said Mary unto the angel, How shall this be, seeing I know not a man?"

LUKE 1:26-38

Contrast Mary's question and Gabriel's response with the question that Zacharias asked Gabriel and the response that he received (Luke 1:18-20). You will find the questions are similar but the responses are totally different.

Both Mary and Zacharias asked how these miracles would occur but it is evident that Mary was asking "how" in faith while Zacharias was asking "how" in unbelief. It is a clear Bible teaching that unbelief doesn't please God (Heb. 11:6), but the Lord doesn't mind us questioning Him for the purpose of instruction so we can cooperate with His will in our lives.

Abram knew that it was God's will for him to have a son but Abram and Sarai came up with their own plan which caused them and the world much grief (Gen. 16:1-6). Abram would have avoided many...

"DON'T GIVE UP" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

DO YOU HAVE A DREAM?  IS THERE SOMETHING YOU HAVE ALWAYS WANTED TO DO OR TO HAVE AND HAVE PRAYED FOR?  WHATEVER YOU DO, DON'T GIVE UP HOPE.  HOPE FOR THAT DREAM TO COME TRUE.  ROMANS 8:24-25 TELL US A LOT ABOUT HOPE.  "For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?  But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it."  I HAVE BEEN HOPING FOR SOMETHING FOR OVER TWENTY YEARS AND I KNOW I HAVE IT ONE DAY.  I THANK GOD EVERY DAY FOR IT AND I KNOW I HAVE IT IN THE SPIRIT.  I JUST HAVE TO BE PATIENT FOR GOD'S TIMING.  HE IS NEVER LATE AND I KNOW HIS PROMISES ARE TRUE.  JESUS SAID THAT WHATEVER I ASK GOD FOR, IN HIS NAME, GOD WILL DO IT.  I HAVE ASKED AND I HAVE FAITH THAT I HAVE IT.

"CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Luke 1:18, "And Zacharias said unto the angel, Whereby shall I know this? for I am an old man, and my wife well stricken in years."

LUKE 1:5-25

Zacharias and Elisabeth were righteous people (v. 6) who prayed for a child for many years. They felt the same disappointments and frustrations that any of us would feel and yet they kept believing God. The Lord finally answered their prayers and sent His angel to announce the good news.

What was Zacharias' reaction? He couldn't believe it! The very thing that he had been praying for was granted and he doubted that it was true. In Zacharias' case he received his miracle anyway. Perhaps his wife's faith pulled him through.

Likewise, you may be praying for the right things. You may even be sincere and earnest, but would you be surprised if those prayers were suddenly answered today? Have you made preparations for your prayers to be...

"ARE YOU COMPLETE?" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

I AM ALWAYS HEARING PEOPLE TALK ABOUT WHAT THEY ARE NEEDING, HOW STRESSED THEY ARE, THEY WISH THEY COULD GET TO FEELING BETTER AND SO ON AND SO ON.  IT SEEMS THAT THERE ARE SO MANY UNHAPPY PEOPLE IN THIS WORLD.  THERE IS ONLY ONE PERSON THAT CAN TAKE CARE OF ALL OF THAT AND HIS NAME IS JESUS.  SALVATION ISN'T JUST FOR GETTING TO HEAVEN, IT IS THE START OF A NEW RELATIONSHIP WITH JESUS AND DOESN'T START WHEN WE DIE.  SALVATION STARTS WHEN WE GET BORN AGAIN AND WILL LAST THROUGH ETERNITY.  DON'T LEAVE EARTH WITHOUT IT.

ARE YOU COMPLETE?  WE CAN ONLY BE COMPLETE IN JESUS. JESUS SAID TO THOMAS IN JOHN 20:29-31...

"ABOUT GENEALOGIES" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

"ABOUT GENEALOGIES" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

Luke 3:23, "And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed) the son of Joseph, which was the son of Heli."

MATTHEW 1:1-17; LUKE 3:23-38

Even the genealogies are inspired by God and profitable (2 Tim. 3:16). Matthew traces Jesus' genealogy through Joseph back to Solomon. However, there was a curse placed on one of Solomon's sons named Jechonias (Jer. 22:24-30), which Jesus avoided by being born of a virgin.

Luke mentions Jesus as being the supposed son of Joseph who was the son of Heli. It was actually Mary who was the daughter of Heli. This was done in other Old Testament instances (Num. 27:1-11; 36:12 with Ruth 4:6). Mary's genealogy was also from David but through Nathan, a half brother of Solomon. Thus the lineage was preserved but the curse bypassed.

These genealogies show the infinite wisdom of God in fulfilling His promises despite...

"STANDING ON GOD'S PROMISES" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

"STANDING ON GOD'S PROMISES" BY DAVID MCMILLEN

PLEASE DON'T STOP STANDING ON SOMETHING YOU HAVE PRAYED FOR.  I HEAR PEOPLE SAY THINGS LIKE "WELL, I GUESS THAT PRAYER WILL NOT BE ANSWERED."  IF YOU HAVE PRAYED ACCORDING TO GOD WILL, HE HAS ALREADY ANSWERED YOUR PRAYER.  THERE ARE MANY PLACED IN HIS WORD WHERE HE SAYS "ASK AND IT SHALL BE GIVEN YOU".  HE DOES NOT LIE BUT YOU HAVE TO BELIEVE AND TRUST HIM TO MANIFEST IT IN HIS TIMELINE, NOT YOURS.  JUST KEEP STANDING AND BELIEVING.

HAVE YOU BEEN STANDING FOR SOMETHING FOR A LONG TIME?  IT MIGHT BE THE SALVATION OF YOUR CHILDREN OR SPOUSE OR PARENTS OR IT COULD BE THAT YOUR HOUSE WOULD BE PAID OFF OR THAT YOU WOULD FIND A GOOD JOB OR JUST ANYTHING. WHEN YOU PRAY, ACCORDING TO GOD'S WORD, AND BELIEVE YOU HAVE RECEIVED IT, THE BIBLE SAYS THAT YOU SHALL HAVE IT.

SOME THINGS I HAVE PRAYED FOR HAVE COME RIGHT AWAY AND THEN I AM STANDING FOR THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN A LONG TIME COMING.

"NOW, OR THEN?" BY ANDREW WOMMACK

John 1:16, "And of his fulness have all we received, and grace for grace."

JOHN 1:1-18

The Christian life is not like an insurance policy that only pays off when we die and go to heaven. Every believer has now received the grace of God and the fullness of God. We are now complete in Him (Col. 2:9-10).

When we receive Jesus as our Lord, we are instantly changed in our spirits (2 Cor. 5:17). Many Christians aren't aware of the change that takes place in their spirit. They continue to live within their physical and emotional realms and are oblivious to the new, born-again part of them that has received the fullness of God.

You can't see or feel your spirit. You just have to believe what the Word of God tells you because God's Word is spirit and life (Jn. 6:63). Your spiritual salvation is complete. Nothing can be added to it. In your spirit, you are right now as you will be...
