GOD'S WORD IS TRUTH YOU CAN TRUST

WHEN YOU ARE IN CHURCH LISTENING TO THE PREACHER OR TEACHER, OR LISTENING TO A MINISTER ON THE RADIO OR TV, ARE YOU REALLY LISTENING TO LEARN ABOUT GOD OR ARE YOU TRYING TO FIND SOME FAULT IN WHAT THEY ARE SAYING?  I KNOW PEOPLE WHO DO THIS.  I KNOW WE ARE SUPPOSED TO SEARCH THE SCRIPTURES TO MAKE SURE THAT WHAT WE ARE BEING TAUGHT LINES UP WITH GOD'S WORD, HOWEVER, I BELIEVE IT IS WRONG TO TRY TO FIND FAULT WITH A TEACHING WITHOUT FIRST CHECKING IT OUT.

THERE ARE FALSE TEACHERS OUT THERE AND WE HAVE TO...

MORE THAN JUST WORDS BY ANDREW WOMMACK MINISTRIES

MORE THAN JUST WORDS

Matthew 5:33, "But let your communication be, Yea, yea: Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil."

MATTHEW 5:33-37

A person who has to swear or make a promise to validate his statements is a person whose...

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

YOU ARE NOT ALONE

DO YOU FIND COMFORT IN JESUS?  SOMETIMES WE THINK THAT NO ONE KNOWS WHAT WE ARE GOING THROUGH.  JESUS KNOWS AND HAS EXPERIENCED MORE THAN ANYTHING WE ARE GOING THROUGH OR WILL EVER GO THROUGH.  HE KNEW WHAT IT WAS LIKE TO BE HUMILIATED.  DON'T YOU THINK IT WAS  HUMILIATING FOR HIM TO BE TREATED LIKE HE WAS BY THE ONES HE HAD CREATED.  DON'T YOU KNOW HE MUST HAVE BEEN BULLIED WHEN HE WAS GROWING UP, NOT BEING ABLE TO FIGHT BACK. DON'T YOU KNOW HE WAS PERSECUTED AND MOCKED WHEN HE SAID HE WAS GOD'S SON. WHAT WOULD WE HAVE DONE IF THESE THINGS HAD HAPPENED TO US.  WE WOULD HAVE BEEN TEMPTED TO FIGHT BACK AND PROBABLY WOULD HAVE.  WE PROBABLY WOULD HAVE DESTROYED THEM ALL.

COMMANDMENTS LEAD TO HAPPINESS

Matthew 5:32, "But I say unto you, That whosoever shall put away his wife, save for the cause of fornication, causeth her to commit adultery: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery."

MATTHEW 5:31-32

BE A CHEERFUL GIVER

BE A CHEERFUL GIVER

HAVE YOU REALLY STUDIED WHAT PAUL WAS TALKING ABOUT WHEN HE SAID IN PHILIPPIANS 4:19 "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."  THIS IS A GREAT PROMISE BUT I THINK A LOT OF PEOPLE TAKE IT THE WRONG WAY. PAUL WAS TALKING TO HIS PHILIPPIAN PARTNERS WHEN HE SAID THIS AND I DON'T BELIEVE IT APPLIES TO EVERYONE.  I KNOW THAT GOD WANTS TO...

SPIRITUAL FITNESS

Matthew 5:29, "And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast [it] from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not [that] thy whole body should be cast into hell."

MATTHEW 5:23-30

WHO IS GOD TO YOU BY BILL SIEMON MINISTRIES

In Scripture there are many different names used to describe God. While all the names of God are important in many ways, the name “Abba Father” is one of the most significant names of God in understanding how He relates to people. The word Abba is an Aramaic word that would most closely be translated as “Daddy.” It was a common term that young children would use to address their fathers. It signifies the close, intimate relationship of a father to his child, as well as the childlike trust that a young child puts in his “daddy.”

While most people, at least those who do not irrationally deny the existence of God, would claim that all are “children of God,” the...

WATCH YOUR MOUTH

WATCH YOUR MOUTH

HAS ANYONE EVER SAID SOMETHING TO YOU THAT REALLY HURT YOU?  I AM SURE THEY HAVE.  WORDS DO HURT.  THE TONGUE IS A POWERFUL THING WHICH CAN BE USED FOR GOOD OR EVIL.  WHAT WE MUST DO IS TO WATCH WHAT WE SAY AND NEVER REPAY EVIL WITH EVIL.  IF SOMEONE HURTS YOU WITH WORDS, FORGIVE THEM.  IN ROMANS 12:19, PAUL TELLS US "Dearly beloved, avenge not yourselves, but rather give place unto wrath: for it is written, Vengeance is mine; I will repay, saith the Lord."
