We obviously worship different Gods. Mine knows my needs and provides those needs. Yours apparently requires constant reminding. As for the scriptures you quoted I think you need a better understanding of what "In my name" actually means. Maybe then you'll see my point. I think further discussion of this subject will only amount to vain babblings, so I will leave you with this;In Matthew 6 25-33 we read; "Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment? Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they? Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature? And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin: And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these. Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things. But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you."

Hi Ken, You wrote; You obviously watched the video much more closely than I did, to pick up on details like that. As I said, my time is very limited, when I get a chance, I will give it the attention it deserves............,Exposing deception is very important to me, this is what I do.What you find offensive, may not be offensive to me, or to God....Really? I don't think God would agree. The Bible says we are "sons of light", that we are "Kings and Priests" (royalty), that "the Lord is well pleased with his people". I have no problem with the lyric that offended you................I'd like to see this scripture you're (partially) quoting. I'm pretty sure God is not at all pleased with mankind or he wouldn't have created a tribulation. And the priests referred to are his elect, and there's only 144,000 of them. Everyone is not included in that number, many are called few are chosen. I'm not so sure about us being called sons of light, that sounds like a new age term to me, But Satan's an angel of light. As for asking God, you are quite correct to say there is something wrong with the way some Christians ask, their motivation, what they ask for.James 4:3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts. However, you go too far to the opposite extreme, and limit our asking to only knowledge and discernment. That is dead wrong.........I don't think so. God knows our needs he provides them before we ask. He sets up our lives before we're born, Do you actually think we have to ask him for anything other than guidance? If you do then I guess we worship different Gods.We are to desire and ask God for many things. Salvation itself, the gifts of the Spirit - which includes healing. Protection, help, forgiveness, subsistence, I could go on - the Bible is full of examples.............We don't have to ask for salvation, it is a gift. The gifts of the Spirit are also given to us freely when we receive the Holy Spirit. These are not things we are to request. I don't know Ken, The God I worship meets my needs I have no requests other than wisdom and discernment to understand why things are happening and what he desires me to do to help. I accept what ever God wills for me even if I don't like it. In the end it all works for good.In fact, we are to depend on God to supply our physical needs - food, clothes, lodging, etc. The pagans run after these things, but we are to depend on God for them..........While we do depend on God to meet our needs we don't need to ask for our needs he knows what we need and he provides. notice I said needs,,, not wants.Matt. 6:33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.........My point exactly.Doubtless, you will point out it says 8Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask him.....Absolutely, And we should obviously have faith thatbhe will meet these needs IF it's his will. You interpret this as - no asking, no lists, but that is not the intent. In verse 7 it points out the problem - "do not keep on babbling like pagans, for they think they will be heard because of their many words"........RightThen in verse 9-13 he teaches us the proper way to pray. Notice, even in the Lord's prayer - we are to ask for our daily bread, for forgiveness, for protection."Give us this day our daily bread" This is nothing more than an example of God meeting our needs. In other words he provides,,,,,, we're sorry for our trespasses,,, and in turn God protects us from evil. This isn't a prayer for food, it's a statement about the way things work. The God I worship does not require me to ask for what I need. He knows what I need and he provides for my needs. I don't ask for "things". The only thing I ask God is pretty much who, where, what and why. The God I worship has all my bases covered.Getting back to the topic we were discussing I think if you take some time and consider this woman's "ministry" you should be able to see that even though she believes God is doing these healings he is not.Don't "throw out the baby with the bathwater" - lol. Find some "balance" on this topic.........Remember Pan? He was an excellent flute player also......L0L,,,,,,,, You're a nice guy Ken, I like you. I think you need to look at this situation a little more seriously, Sarah

Ok Ken, obviously you don't get it, maybe I can make this a little more clear for youIn one of her songs she's saying;""Do you know that you glow, That the King is pleased with you, Do you know that you are royalty"? WHAT??She asks people to choose which flute they you want to be blessed with then she plays over them and they are healed. Flutes she supernaturally learned to play. She claims that the power isn't her but it's God. She asks God to download to her what healing the person needs she is playing over,,,,AND her technique is the fastest in the world. She's seen and felt angels, sees visions, and dreams, She sees beings of light and God said to her "we got you covered". REALLY,,,, She feels angels grip her arm. But the thing that sealed it for me was the list........ You don't give God lists. AND he doesn't ask for them...Any self respecting Christian that falls for this crap is deceived, and they're ability to discern does not exist. Don't you know the devil will heal you to get you to believe a lie???......... And he will produce miracles if it means you'll follow him.ALSO YOU WROTE................---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------"Also, God does want us to make known (list) our desires (requests), even though he already knows them. I'm not sure I follow your reasoning in saying it is unnecessary to ask God". ..... (IF he already knows them what's the point here?)...............................If you readJames 4:2 ...You do not have, because you do not ask God.\Phil. 4:6 ...by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God.Luke 11:9 So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you...John 16: 24 Until now you have not asked for anything in my name. Ask and you will receive, and your joy will be complete.-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------<<<<<<<<<<OK LETS READ THESE SCRIPTURES YOU QUOTE, BUT LETS PUT THEM IN CONTEXT SO THEY MEAN WHAT THEY MEAN>>>>>>>>>>>JAMES CHAPTER 4--------------------------------------------------------------------------------1 From whence come wars and fightings among you? come they not hence, even of your lusts that war in your members?2 Ye lust, and have not: ye kill, and desire to have, and cannot obtain: ye fight and war, yet ye have not, because ye ask not.3 Ye ask, and receive not, because ye ask amiss, that ye may consume it upon your lusts.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------PHILIPPIANS CHAPTER 4--------------------------------------------------------------------------------1 Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.2 I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.3 And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.9 Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.10 But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.11 Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.12 I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.13 I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.LUKE CHAPTER 11--------------------------------------------------------------------------------1 And it came to pass, that, as he was praying in a certain place, when he ceased, one of his disciples said unto him, Lord, teach us to pray, as John also taught his disciples.2 And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth.3 Give us day by day our daily bread.4 And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.5 And he said unto them, Which of you shall have a friend, and shall go unto him at midnight, and say unto him, Friend, lend me three loaves;6 For a friend of mine in his journey is come to me, and I have nothing to set before him?7 And he from within shall answer and say, Trouble me not: the door is now shut, and my children are with me in bed; I cannot rise and give thee.8 I say unto you, Though he will not rise and give him, because he is his friend, yet because of his importunity he will rise and give him as many as he needeth.9 And I say unto you, Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you.10 For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened.John 16Verily, verily, I say unto you, That ye shall weep and lament, but the world shall rejoice: and ye shall be sorrowful, but your sorrow shall be turned into joy.21 A woman when she is in travail hath sorrow, because her hour is come: but as soon as she is delivered of the child, she remembereth no more the anguish, for joy that a man is born into the world.22 And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.23 And in that day ye shall ask me nothing. Verily, verily, I say unto you, Whatsoever ye shall ask the Father in my name, he will give it you.24 Hitherto have ye asked nothing in my name: ask, and ye shall receive, that your joy may be full. Now what are we speaking of here Ken? Cars, Husbands, Gold, Diamonds? No,,,, we're speaking of Knowledge...... Knowledge and Discernment are what we're to ask God for. I am very saddened that you "Christians" can't see through this deception. Woe to him who calls evil Good..........................................................................

I'm concerned by the lack of discernment I am reading here. As I said in my previous reply to this post God does not require lists of our desires, he knows the desires of our hearts, and if those desires are according to HIS WILL then those desires will happen. Unfortunately the New Age Movement (as I described in "Secret Witchcraft") has put their own spin on "Ask and you shall receive", and apparently it's tickled Christianities fancy to the point that they no longer understand who's manifesting their desires. Very Unfortunate. The road to hell is indeed paved by good intentions.I also must make mention of the fact that There is no other name under heaven by which we are saved than the name of Christ Jesus. Obviously, if Theresas' music was healing people wouldn't this music be of her name? And not in the Name of Jesus Christ?I'm not saying this woman isn't talented, but I am saying that your belief that this music has some power of its own to heal other than what comes from God is a very dangerous belief, dangerous enough that Satan will charm it with credibility to make it desirable in your eyes.Your justification that music is a part of worship does not give it the power to heal. Maybe David did banish a demon or two while playing his harp, but the music merely changed Sauls disposition, It "lifted his spirits" when his disposition changed the evil departed. This scripture (1 Samual 16) in no way justifies the belief that music can heal or save someone from a perilous experience (as the video implied) just by listening to it. A change of thought or action is the only way to banish a demon considering it's a persons free will that invites the demonic activity into their life in the first place.. Just because something seems to be the Truth doesn't mean it is. Where has your discernment gone? You're ability to discern the Truth from the Lie has become clouded by your intellect. The Word tests the spirits, not the mind.I shouldn't be surprised by this, I've come to expect mans lack of understanding as a sign of the times, a sign of the end times where if it were possible even the very elect would be deceived. I just think you could have made it a little harder to allow yourselves to be deceived. This is elementary level deception we're speaking of here, what's going to happen when they bring out the big guns? And Ken,,, Get off the fence,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Sarah

I'm not buying this.Also................"She said God told her to make a list of qualities that she wanted in a husband. So she compiled an extensive list of about fifty qualities, including she wanted a man thirty-nine years old."................ Secret Witchcraft,,,,,,,,,,, God doesn't ask you what you want,,,,,,,, BUT Satan does..................... The fine line gets finer every day..................... You're discernment was correct Ken. What's in a Name?

Christian Teachings

I'm really glad you said this. I feel the SAME WAY. I recently heard a minister on blog radio claiming that Jesus and God don't hear you if you don't call them by the correct names. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. Boy, did he get that backward?. He should have said You have to know ""WHO"" they are, not what the correct pronunciation of their names are. What is happening to Christians? Are they all going crazy? I've been calling God God and Jesus Jesus since I was a little girl, it's always been fine with them. I'm amazed Christians fall for this crap. It's awful. Every time I turn around there's more conspiracies and secret signs that someone's trying to expose in the mean time these people wouldn't recognize Jesus if they fell over him. I don't know what to say anymore. People seem to be moving further and further from the truth everyday. They certainly give me a lot to write about.
