Other Bible verses to that effect:

Proverbs 27:17- Iron sharpens iron, and one man sharpens another.

1 Peter 3:8- Finally, all of you, have unity of mind, sympathy, brotherly love, a tender heart, and a humble mind.

Paul refers to us as “The Body Of Christ”

One of the principles of Illuminovaire is community. As followers of Christ we are called into a worldwide community of brothers and sisters.

Now, just like in any family we won’t always see eye to eye. But we have a duty to love each other, pray for each other, and fellowship with each other.

As a follower of Christ, there is a community for you. Illuminovaire is a community, albeit online.

Churches and fellowships are offline communities where you can fellowship with other believers and build close relationships.

You can start your own community of believers if you don’t have easy access to one.

There is a community for you in Christ. You are never alone.

A favorite verse of mine to meditate on is

Matthew 11:28-30 New King James Version (NKJV)

“Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”

If you have never meditated before, this is a good place to start.

So an answer to the question, am I supposed to just think about scripture over and over again?

The answer is yes.

It beats ruminating on things we have no control over, the evil in the world, what someone did to us last year and we can’t let go of; what your boss meant when he or she said so and so; etc.

Think about the ways in which you will be transformed when you meditate on the right things, including the word of God.
