When we meditate on verses of scripture, as led by the Holy Spirit, our spirit becomes stronger, and we are able to actually apply the word of God in our everyday life.
A casual reading of the Bible, and the words of Jesus is not enough to translate into changing the way we think, speak, or act.
Meditation is the key.
These days, I’m meditating on Isaiah chapter 60.
What are you meditating on?

This is Illuminovaire, where we hope you transform your life with Christ centered wisdom!
As we shared last week, we have 12 practices, central to our vision.
Meditation is one of them. Now, if you have only heard about meditation from a non-spiritual, or mental health only point of view, you’re in for a treat.
Meditation on the word of God and the virtues of Christ is vital for us as Christ followers.
Watch and listen to this video from our YouTube channel on meditation. See below. 👇

What is God telling you to let go of?
What man made barriers are we putting up?
What have you normalized that is not normal?
Matt 11: 28-29
Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.
29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.
Phil 4 6-7
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Faith without works is dead. Faith is living, because we serve a living God!

If you are a Christian beware of fake faith.
1. Money Based “Faith”: God does not spend money. How do you know if someone is preaching money based faith? Examples include: “If you want your daughter to marry as a virgin give $1000, God will make it happen”. Anyone that asks you to pay for a prayer is operating in “money based faith”. Other examples include “If you give X preacher X amount you will get their anointing”. This is a lie. Faith is between you and God, not among you, God, a preacher and your pocket.
2. Person Based “Faith”: This is where a person elevates their church, ministry or personality above God. You will hear things like “When X left my church their life became horrible”. “You can’t read other people’s books or listen to other people’s sermons”. “I am your covering”. This type of “faith” takes your eyes of God/Jesus/Holy Spirit and put your focus on a person.
3. Show Based “Faith”: When I was a child I heard a preacher talk about if we want our eyesight healed we should break our glasses. No I didn’t break mine. I saw many who did and within two weeks were back in glasses again. You don’t have to empty your bank account at the behest of someone else in order to prove that you have faith. Faith is in your heart, and is not a circus!
4. Pressure Based “Faith”: The Holy Spirit is a gentle spirit. Pressure tactics( “You have five minutes to run forward and give $500 if you want your healing”) are not faith. Pressure tactics are a sales tactic called “creating urgency” and have NOTHING to do with faith.
5. Blame Based “Faith”: This type of thinking will have you blaming unseen physical enemies for your woes, failures, and troubles. There are whole congregations whose gatherings primarily relate to “praying for your enemies to die”. This is not faith. This is superstitious, idiotic, and faithless. If you actually believe God, pray to him and believe. Why should God kill people on your behalf? What if you are an enemy that someone is praying against? Should God kill you on their behalf?
6. Fear Based “Faith”: The Bible says “Fear has torment”. Examples include: “If you don’t give 10% of your money to my organization, God will break your car and kill your children”. Or “If you don’t attend every single church service, God will not bless you”. Another one that we do to ourselves “Oh my God, I didn’t pray, so I’m going to have a bad day”. “If you don’t pay tithes, you will die”. By the way, whether you are Christian or not, pray or not, donate or not, you WILL DIE! Every human being will die. Don’t allow people who have no power over death to scare you with death!! 🤣🤣
Real faith brings peace to your heart, not guilt, fear, torment, and pressure.
Say NO to fake faith.
