Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your wisdom and discernment in the daily affairs of my life. Lord, teach me to use wisdom, when I must deal with foolish and obstinate people. Help me keep my mouth closed and not speak, when You know that the person I am trying to reason with cannot receive what I may have to say. Also, give me grace and boldness to speak when I am supposed to share with others about the wisdom that is in Your Word. Lord, use me to help the weak and fatherless and plead their causes. May I be used as one of Your messengers in the natural, like one of Your angels, to bring a blessing to someone who needs to hear from You, or needs help from You. I ask this in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am grateful that You sent Your Word to guide us in the way that we should go. I do appreciate You keeping me on the straight and narrow path too, as You know, my flesh wants to wander, at times. Thank You for correcting me when that happens to me. I love Your Word. It is filled with life and faith. Give me the desire to read and study it more diligently. Open my understanding and give me revelation so that I will be able to apply the truths found in it to my life. I know the answer to every problem I face can be solved by seeking You with my whole heart and applying Your Word to my life. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your great mercy to me personally and to all men who call upon You. Father, I desire to have a good and honest heart, so please convict me of all deception and pride so that I may repent of it and be free from these two evils. Help me to always be honest and never try to pretend about anything I have done. Forgive me for yielding to pride, and deliver me from trying to please men, instead of pleasing You. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I thank You for Your Word and Your faithfulness to keep it. Lord, may I be one who keeps my word also. Father, I also ask You to help me guard what comes out of my mouth. May my words be gracious to others and also words of faith and kindness. Lord, when I am trying to convince someone about You or Your Word, may I be gracious about it, trusting You to break down any defensiveness that they may have. Give me love and patience while I am witnessing and sharing with others who do not know You. I ask this in the name of the Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am thankful for all of the good foods that You created for our pleasure. They have been a blessing and I have enjoyed them. Lord, help me not to over-indulge and put too much emphasis on food. Give me a desire to eat things that are good for me and deliver me from those things that are not healthy for me. Since You created our bodies, I trust Your wisdom to know what things are best for me to eat. Forgive me for any lust for food, and may I eat those things that will cause me to have a healthy body so that I can serve You without illness and lack of energy. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, Thank You for Your faithfulness to me.Lord, I have failed You many times in my life; however, You have never failed me. I am grateful for Your love and mercy to me when I have fallen down. I appreciate all the times You have picked me up and helped me to keep on walking on the straight and narrow path of Your will. Lord, strengthen me to be a faithful witness for You. Help me not to put my confidence in men, but rather to lean on You and trust You to help me. I am thankful You have used many people over the years to help me, but I know it was You who gave me favor with them. Thank you. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
