Lord, we also ask you to forgive our national sins of racism, abortion, strife, hatred, pornography, adultery, lust, idolatry and our many other sins. Be merciful to us. We realize we deserve judgement in our land for these sins. However, we are asking that you send a revival among us so that we might turn from our wickedness and our land be spared. Help me to do my part in changing this nation. Although my life may only represent one drop of rain, there are many other Christians who are rain drops too. Add each Christian's life and their godly witness and influence to this sound of rain until Your love and Your Word covers this dry and thirsty earth. In the precious name of Jesus I pray, Amen.

Dear Father, I come to you today in Jesus' name and I really desire to have your wisdom and knowledge. I honestly want to walk in such a way that I can be kind to those who speak against me, and I truly want to seek their good. I know that without the Holy Spirit I cannot do this, so fill me with your Spirit today. Let me be kind and loving; and change my heart from being defensive and argumentative, to being loving and kind. Help me speak the truth in love, yet without an angry tone. Help me to remember that you will defend me. Lord, when I see faults in others, help me to also check my own heart and motives for faults. Then Lord, deliver us all from those things that are not pleasing in your eyes. I choose to be a peacemaker today, not a trouble maker. I am trusting you to change those around me, as well as change those things in me that would cause us to engage in any unkind speaking. Amen.

Deliver us, your people, from lust, perversion, pornography, and all other sexual sins. Let us hide your Word in our hearts so that we will not sin against You. Cleanse our nation of its sexual perversions and deliver our young people from the devil's temptations. Heal those that have repented, not only emotionally, but also of any sexual disease they may have contracted before they found You. Give us pure thoughts and deliver us from the evil of our day. And Lord, if we are not guilty of any sexual sin, help us not to be critical of those who are. Let us help others by praying for them and believing for them to be set free. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I want to be a light for You in this earth. Lord, we live in a dark world, so I desire that You shine in me so others may see Your light. Help me today to live perfectly toward you and walk in Your will. I know that when I do this, you will use me to help others. I know that while I am busy about your business, You will keep me safe from all harm. Thank you, today for protecting my granddaughter in the automobile accident that she was involved in yesterday. Although the car was totaled, she and her friend were not injured. Thank you for another of Your promises in Psalm 37 that says, our seed shall be blessed. I am most blessed to have the promises of Your Word. May others know those same promises are for them and their families too. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father, I come to you in Jesus' name thanking You for Your promises. Thank you especially for your promise of peace in my life today. I thank you that when I become anxious or fearful, that I can bring those fears to You and You will remove them and give me Your peace. Lord, I also appreciate your promise of a long life. Father, give Bud and I your grace and health in our latter years, so that we may complete all that you have called us to do. Thank you for keeping us safe, even at times that we did not know it. Thank you for your protecting angels around me and my family and friends. Thank You for all of Your wonderful promises, and may I remain strong in faith to receive and walk in them. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am grateful that you have revealed yourself to me. I do want to walk in Your Truth and keep your Words and Your commandments. I know that I cannot do this without the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, so fill me with Your Holy Spirit this day. May I show mercy to any that need it, as I need your mercy as well. Lord, deliver me from any temptation of deceitfulness or any dishonest way. May I be honest and truthful with all. Cleanse my heart of everything that would be displeasing in your sight. I do desire your mercy and truth that I might walk in favor with You and with men. I pray in Jesus' name. Amen.

Dear Father in Heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. Thank you Lord, for so many wonderful promises in Your Word. I come to you humbly, and ask that you remove any prideful attitudes in my heart and life. I truly want to follow in Your ways and serve You. Help me to trust you when things are going wrong, as much as when things are going right. I realize to walk in faith, that I must believe that You will help me with my current problems even though I do not see a way at this time. You will make a way, as You have never failed anyone who comes to You in faith. Thank you for good health, mentally and physically. I am so glad my name is written in the Book of Life. Use me to help others find the way to heaven. Thank you, Jesus. Amen.
