Dear Heavenly Father, I praise You today for my salvation. Thank you for delivering me from hatred and evil and filling me with Your love. Lord, help me to witness to those around me about Your love for them. Give me the grace to always be loving and kind to all, even when others act differently toward me. Help me not to repeat the sins of others that I know about, but rather cover them with prayer, lest I am also tempted. Forgive our nation for its taste for gossip and its unsavory thirst for finding out evil about others. May we cover one another's sins in mercy and prayer, so we may all rise to an honorable national life. Lord, You said You would deal with the wicked. We do not have to do it. You said, vengeance was Yours and because You are just, You will see to it that we are eventually treated fairly, if we simply pray and trust You. Give us all grace to do this. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.

Dear Father, You are very gracious to all of Your children, and I thank You for all the many material blessings You have given us in this nation. Lord, help us to be good stewards over these things and not use them unwisely. Help us to be generous in our giving, and follow You, as to the people and the works You would like us to help. Help us not to get so busy enjoying our blessings, that we forget the One who gave us those blessings. Deliver us from the spirit of mammon and any trace of the love of money. Lord, help me to make my decisions not based on whether I have the money or lack the money to do something, but rather based on, is it Your will that I do this thing. I know if You want me to do something that is Your will for me, You will supply the means to do it, if I trust and obey You. Thank you for the faith to do Your will. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. 

Dear Father, I thank you for all Your goodness to us as Your children. We are most grateful for Your patience and understanding towards us. Help us to have the same attitude and grace toward those who bother or trouble us. Lord, help me to speak gracious and kind things about others. I read in Isaiah 6 how when he had a vision of Your holiness, he cried out, "Woe is me! I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips; for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts." Lord, forgive us all for the unclean things we have said that have not pleased You. Forgive us for hurting one another with unkind and mean words. Father, purify our hearts of the things that are unholy, for our lips have voiced the sin that is still there. Remove those things and cleanse us from all evil. I ask in this in the name of our Lord, Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Father, Thank You for giving us such good advice in the Bible. Give us the grace to heed it. Lord, help me to do a good job at each task that is before me. I want the works of my hands to glorify You. Lord, I ask You to keep Your hand of protection on me and my family and my loved ones. I pray for all who read this devotional that You will also protect and guide them. Reveal Yourself to them in a deeper way. Touch and heal them and bless each of them this very day. Give us all the grace to overcome the things in our lives that are not pleasing to You. You are so good to us, Lord. I am very thankful for all You are doing in my life and the wonderful work You are doing in the lives of Your people all over the world. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Dear Father, Thank You for the many promises that You have given us in the Bible. Thank You for watching over us and our children and grandchildren and giving us all long life. Lord, give me the grace to live my life in accordance with Your Word. Forgive me of my sins and keep me from temptation. Strengthen me to do things that please You. I want to be a blessing to others, so help me to be sensitive to those around me who might need my help and encouragement. Thank You for guiding me in the right way and give me the willingness to always do Your will. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Dear Father, Thank you for the love and forgiveness that You show us daily. Lord, help us to overcome any sin that the enemy tempts us to engage in. Lord, forgive us for the times we fail You. We also forgive those who have hurt us and sinned against us. May they come to repentance so that they might know Your forgiving love too. We all need Your love and mercy. Lord Jesus, be merciful to our family and our friends. Watch over our children and our grandchildren and keep them from harm. Guide us daily in the right path so that we do not stray from the straight and narrow. I ask this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.

Dear Heavenly Father, I am so thankful that You are my Father. You are so kind and patient with me. Lord, I do want You to work in my life and set me free from all weakness and sin. Cleanse my heart and deliver me from all that offends You. Give me a heart of forgiveness for those who have hurt me. Lord, I do want your nature to be formed in me. I offer my life to You again today to die to my own way and live to Yours. I trust that You have the best plan for me and that You will give me the grace and the faith to walk in that plan. Fill me with your love today and use my life to bring glory to You. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.
