Hi David,I certainly would not claim to be infallible, the Popes and Prelates do that.Perhaps you should take a hard look at the Catholic Church, their history, policies, and teachings, before you defend them.I have no problem with the ordinary Catholic lay person, it's the system, the Vatican, I take issue with.Perhaps you should read this insightful, article before rushing to their defense. Infallible Paedophiles? Perhaps you should re-evaluate them, as many Irish Catholics are now doing. The corruption, tyranny, physical and sexual abuse of defenseless children, have recently been exposed. This in a country where they control and own the schools, hospitals, orphanages, and to a large measure, the government. Irish Question Catholic Identity After Abuse Report

Hi David,I come from Newfoundland, where the infamous Mt. Cashel sex abuse scandal took place. Also, numerous other cases, where the Priests who people think are acting in the place of God, and forgiving their sins, are raping little children, when they walk out of the confessional.Do you really think these Priests have the Holy Spirit, or know God?Perhaps you should study this issue, the confessional goes all the way back to Babylon. Read "The Two Babylons" by Hislop, or "A Woman Rides the Beast" by Dave Hunt. Here is an article on the subject, I am aware of the Vatican's arguments to justify their position but I reject them as false and unBiblical, like so many other things they do and teach. http://www.spurgeongems.org/rb-16.pdf

Do you feel they have a monopoly on this, or does not satan attack from within? I don,t defend any corruption by neither catholics, the vatacan or protestants or so called non denominationals. Can you stop satan in your own life, or are you sinnless? Spiritual warfare is a reality and satan uses anyone he can to divide Gods family, especially those of the faith. These are all biblical truths, and precepts. Think about that the next time you sin, because you just sounded as if you were infallible? Let us not be so heavenly minded that we become no earthly good. Information is not wisdom, understanding is. If anything all the details you describe pertaining to catholocism should serve to enlighten us more to the need of Gods grace for ALL of us, None of us being PERFECT. Amen?

Again priests don't have a monopoly on sin, or do you not choose to share the same abuse that has been delivered by the hands of pentecostals, baptists, and on, and on. There are believers of every dotorine, and belief guilty of the same horror. Study human nature because that includes everyone instead of pointing fingers, and we can't also ignore the good that has come from those you have singled out to accuse.

Lucifer knew God, and fell. Do you believe that you are not capable of falling. The bible does not teach that, quit the contrary. ANYONE can fall.

We re-evaluate ourselves as we go the bible says, or do you believe you will never reach a time that you may need defending with fingers pointing, and shame overwhelming you. We do not know the future, but God does. They stumble being disobedient to the word, to which they were also appointed. 1 Peter 2:8b You see my point we could with much evidence point fingers at one another all year, and do no good for the kingdom of God, so if you really want to be examining in truth no one is not guilty, therein lies the meaning of the gospel, the good news.

So are you now claiming what they claim, that you are unfallable, that you know the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. You see the irony?

Hi David,I do not, and never have, claimed to be infallible! I claim to be a old sinner saved by grace. Even the album I am working on is called "Songs from a Sinner".However, the Popes and Prelates claim to be infallible, in spite of the fact that they are steeped in sin, and guilty of the most heinous acts imaginable."We hold upon this earth the place of God Almighty." Pope Leo XIII, in an Encyclical letter, dated June 20, 1894"The Pope is not only the representative of Jesus Christ, but he is Jesus Christ, hidden under a veil of flesh." The Catholic National, July 1895"But the supreme teacher in the Church is the Roman Pontiff... [who] requires... complete submission and obedience of will... as to God Himself." Pope Leo XIII, the Great Encyclical Letters, p. 193"It seems that Pope John Paul II now presides over the universal Church from his place upon Christ's cross." Taken from an article entitled, "Auckland Bishop Says Pope Presides From the Cross" AUCKLAND, New Zealand, SEPT. 20, 2004, Zenit.org"Indeed, it is not too much to say that in view of the sublimity of their offices the priests are so many gods." Pope Innocent III"For professing faith contrary to the Church of Rome, history records the martyrdom of more than one hundred million people." Brief Bible Readings, p. 16"We must rank the Inquisition ... as among the darkest blots on record of mankind."Will Durant, The Story of Civilization, vol. 4, p. 78"That the Church of Rome has shed more innocent blood than any other institution that has ever existed among mankind will be questioned by no Protestant who has a complete knowledge of history. It is impossible to form a complete conception of the multitude of her victims, and it is quite certain that no powers of imagination can adequately realize their sufferings." W. E. H. Leeky, History of the Rise and Influence of the Spirit of Rationalism in Europe, Vol. 2:32, 1910 edition

I quite agree anyone call fall and Paul writes about it.1 Corinthians 10:12 Therefore, whoever thinks he is standing securely should watch out so he doesn't fall Not only individuals, but institutions can fall, as John writes here.Revelation 18:2 Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and is become the habitation of devils, and the hold of every foul spirit, and a cage of every unclean and hateful bird. The question is, are you going to go to God for forgiveness through the only mediator between God and man - Jesus Christ, or are you going to go to a fallen institution, and fallen men, for absolution. http://www.mountzion.org/fgb/Winter-Spring03/FgbWSP-03.pdf

All true facts without a doubt, and once again focusing on the sin of individuals, that are questionably christians. Jesus's definition of christian : I am the light of the world. He who FOLLOWS Me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. There is no measuring tape of sin, For ALL have sinned, and fall SHORT of the glory of God, period. If I pulled out your history and began to plaster it all over the world how long do you think your credibility would stand. Yes maybe in the circle of friends, and those that know you, but in the big picture? You see the futility of claiming to be a man of God then proceeding to use your education for the tearing down of others that happen to be catholic. Yes you say it is against the institution, but the institution is made up of millions of catholics???
