This went out over the whole Indie Gospel membership but I think only the advanced question was read.. here is the complete article.. It is important for the Lord himself wanted to make sure that what the woman did that night anointing Jesus would be remembered as long as the Gospel was preached.... So here is the complete version of the article...

*************

The Woman Who Anointed Jesus

Giving Credit where Credit is due; Who anointed Jesus with Myrrh and Where did it take place? And why did this episode even occur? And yes, I have even heard the comment, 'Who Cares?'.

Here is an answer to that statement ... Matthew 26:13 "Verily I say unto you, Wheresoever this gospel shall be preached in the whole world, there shall also this, that this woman hath done, be told for a memorial of her."

What does this tell you? I would have to believe that The Lord...

Something for Everyone

By James Banfield's Top 20 Songs, 2012-11-08

Last year I sent out a message that was very similiar to this one. But I think there are some who might be missing a blessing.  Let me explain.

One day, last year .. I had a lot to do as far as paperwork. I was also on the computer. I hit my page and "JB's Indie Gospel Top Ten Chart". and clicked the first song .. then while it was playing I began to get to work getting the paperwork done.  Before I knew it I was into the 4th or 5th song on the list. I have found that it is really a blessing just to hit play on the list and just let her go.  This week I got blessed again. There is something for everyone on this chart!

With all the new members we've added to Indie Gospel Artists I thought that it would be good to let you all know about this blessing and not keep it for myself, lol.

Just to let you know There are from 13-15 songs on the list. Here is what the list is comprised of:

Just sittin there:  These songs I put here so I...

Back on 05-05-2012 I heard a song called " We Use The Same Altar As You Do" by Pete Etterman. It blew me away.. What a great song. It broke into " JB's Indie Gospel Top Ten " at #6 and the next week it was #1 for 2 weeks. Everyone I talked to felt that this song would break out of Indie Gospel Artists and go national... It did..

Now Pete Etterman has been listed as possible nomination for:

Male Horizon: (Up and Coming)

Instrumentalist:

Songwriter of the Year :

M ale Vocalist of the Year

And Song of the year:  "We Us the Same Altar As You Do" - Pete Etterman

In order for us to refresh ourselves the song I took the liberty of putting...

Less WE Forget - November 22, 1963

By James Banfield's Top 20 Songs, 2012-11-22

I remember Today's date.  AS bad as it was for millions of people that day and the following 5 days were so devastating that the whole nation was in a fog. From grade school students to High School, College and our mom's and dad's. It was terrible.   JFK gave his life for this country.  He was a President, a doggone good one at that. He showed us what a President should be and how to  act and hold his ground.  And HE gave his life for this country. So how do we honor his legacy today? I was watching for a message to come by my computer mentioning President Kennedy because today some 49 years ago, November 22. 1963 we heard of that terrible bulletin.

I watched my new movie that I ordered from Amazon.com "PT-109".  Send out a message telling of JFK so that all of us will not forget a man who stood his ground in the Cuban Missile Crisis, Stood His Ground against the evils of Slavery and civil rights, and stood his ground against those in Congress who wanted to change...

Jesus and the Centurion – Who was The Lord really talking to?

By James Banfield's Top 20 Songs, 2012-11-25

Ecc 3:1 “ To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven” .

You say, now what does that have to do with the Jesus and the Centurion? Actually, to me everything but to you? … maybe something. Let me explain. On April Fools Day 2004 I went under the knife for a very serious operation. I had my complete Esophagus removed due to Cancer. And so, in recovery I got to watch all the Jesus movies on TV. All 6. and every one of them were not right according to the scriptures, not one. Robert Powell, who played “Jesus of Nazareth” was probably the best and the closest. After I watched the last one I sat in my chair and just shook my head. “Lord, when are they going to make a movie about you and your ministry according to scritpure?”... What was...

Special Project: "The Sound of Hope"

By James Banfield's Top 20 Songs, 2012-11-30

The CD's being generated by Indie Gospel Artists are to help the children and other ministries that are supported by Indie Gospel Artists and others as well. This is a very large project and 14 of our artists have been selected to be on the very first CD designed specifically to help those ministries that we have vetted.

In that light , today I was able to donate some funds through Paypal to Indie Gospel Artists for an advanced order of 2 CD's for when they come out. I know that Ed and Ken are diligently plugging away at the legal logistics but it won't be long until it will be reality and Indie Gospel Artists as a family will be able to say that we have definitely RAISED THE BAR !.  So I invite all of you to do the same. ...

Just Click on the "Donate button" and it will go through the process of deducting your donation from your account to IGA and then you will have an Advanced Order of the CD as well. I used the figure of...
