Seven Notable miracles in the bible- A study

I am now led to do a study on seven notable miracles in the bible. There are far more than seven miracles in the bible, but these seven have caught my attention the most, so I have decided to feature them. All show how awesome, powerful and mighty our God really is, yet how merciful He can be too, and that He is always worthy of our praise, honor, gloray, and obedience each and every day.

Creation

This is the very first miracle, rather a series of miracles which brought all the earth, the features on the earth, the animals, plants and so forth into existence, then eventually mankind into existence. I am using both chapters one and two of Genesis to recount this story in full:

(Genesis 1:1)  In the beginning, God created the heavens and the earth.

(Genesis 1:2)  The earth was without form and void, and darkness was over the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters.

(Genesis 1:3)  And God said, "Let there be light," and there was light.

(Genesis 1:4)  And God saw that the light was good. And God separated the light from the darkness.

(Genesis 1:5)  God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day.

(Genesis 1:6)  And God said, "Let there be an expanse in the midst of the waters, and let it separate the waters from the waters."

(Genesis 1:7)  And God made the expanse and separated the waters that were under the expanse from the waters that were above the expanse. And it was so.

(Genesis 1:8)  And God called the expanse Heaven. And there was evening and there was morning, the second day.

(Genesis 1:9)  And God said, "Let the waters under the heavens be gathered together into one place, and let the dry land appear." And it was so.

(Genesis 1:10)  God called the dry land Earth, and the waters that were gathered together he called Seas. And God saw that it was good.

(Genesis 1:11)  And God said, "Let the earth sprout vegetation, plants yielding seed, and fruit trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind, on the earth." And it was so.

(Genesis 1:12)  The earth brought forth vegetation, plants yielding seed according to their own kinds, and trees bearing fruit in which is their seed, each according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

(Genesis 1:13)  And there was evening and there was morning, the third day.

(Genesis 1:14)  And God said, "Let there be lights in the expanse of the heavens to separate the day from the night. And let them be for signs and for seasons, and for days and years,

(Genesis 1:15)  and let them be lights in the expanse of the heavens to give light upon the earth." And it was so.

(Genesis 1:16)  And God made the two great lights--the greater light to rule the day and the lesser light to rule the night--and the stars.

(Genesis 1:17)  And God set them in the expanse of the heavens to give light on the earth,

(Genesis 1:18)  to rule over the day and over the night, and to separate the light from the darkness. And God saw that it was good.

(Genesis 1:19)  And there was evening and there was morning, the fourth day.

(Genesis 1:20)  And God said, "Let the waters swarm with swarms of living creatures, and let birds fly above the earth across the expanse of the heavens."

(Genesis 1:21)  So God created the great sea creatures and every living creature that moves, with which the waters swarm, according to their kinds, and every winged bird according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

(Genesis 1:22)  And God blessed them, saying, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the waters in the seas, and let birds multiply on the earth."

(Genesis 1:23)  And there was evening and there was morning, the fifth day.

(Genesis 1:24)  And God said, "Let the earth bring forth living creatures according to their kinds--livestock and creeping things and beasts of the earth according to their kinds." And it was so.

(Genesis 1:25)  And God made the beasts of the earth according to their kinds and the livestock according to their kinds, and everything that creeps on the ground according to its kind. And God saw that it was good.

(Genesis 1:26)  Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness. And let them have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over the livestock and over all the earth and over every creeping thing that creeps on the earth."

(Genesis 1:27)  So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them.

(Genesis 1:28)  And God blessed them. And God said to them, "Be fruitful and multiply and fill the earth and subdue it and have dominion over the fish of the sea and over the birds of the heavens and over every living thing that moves on the earth."

(Genesis 1:29)  And God said, "Behold, I have given you every plant yielding seed that is on the face of all the earth, and every tree with seed in its fruit. You shall have them for food.

(Genesis 1:30)  And to every beast of the earth and to every bird of the heavens and to everything that creeps on the earth, everything that has the breath of life, I have given every green plant for food." And it was so.

(Genesis 1:31)  And God saw everything that he had made, and behold, it was very good. And there was evening and there was morning, the sixth day.

(Genesis 2:1)  Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.

(Genesis 2:2)  And on the seventh day God finished his work that he had done, and he rested on the seventh day from all his work that he had done.

(Genesis 2:3)  So God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it God rested from all his work that he had done in creation.

(Genesis 2:4)  These are the generations of the heavens and the earth when they were created, in the day that the LORD God made the earth and the heavens.

(Genesis 2:5)  When no bush of the field was yet in the land and no small plant of the field had yet sprung up--for the LORD God had not caused it to rain on the land, and there was no man to work the ground,

(Genesis 2:6)  and a mist was going up from the land and was watering the whole face of the ground--

(Genesis 2:7)  then the LORD God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature.

(Genesis 2:8)  And the LORD God planted a garden in Eden, in the east, and there he put the man whom he had formed.

(Genesis 2:9)  And out of the ground the LORD God made to spring up every tree that is pleasant to the sight and good for food. The tree of life was in the midst of the garden, and the tree of the knowledge of good and evil.

(Genesis 2:10)  A river flowed out of Eden to water the garden, and there it divided and became four rivers.

(Genesis 2:11)  The name of the first is the Pishon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Havilah, where there is gold.

(Genesis 2:12)  And the gold of that land is good; bdellium and onyx stone are there.

(Genesis 2:13)  The name of the second river is the Gihon. It is the one that flowed around the whole land of Cush.

(Genesis 2:14)  And the name of the third river is the Tigris, which flows east of Assyria. And the fourth river is the Euphrates.

(Genesis 2:15)  The LORD God took the man and put him in the garden of Eden to work it and keep it.

(Genesis 2:16)  And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, "You may surely eat of every tree of the garden,

(Genesis 2:17)  but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat, for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die."

(Genesis 2:18)  Then the LORD God said, "It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him a helper fit for him."

(Genesis 2:19)  Now out of the ground the LORD God had formed every beast of the field and every bird of the heavens and brought them to the man to see what he would call them. And whatever the man called every living creature, that was its name.

(Genesis 2:20)  The man gave names to all livestock and to the birds of the heavens and to every beast of the field. But for Adam there was not found a helper fit for him.

(Genesis 2:21)  So the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon the man, and while he slept took one of his ribs and closed up its place with flesh.

(Genesis 2:22)  And the rib that the LORD God had taken from the man he made into a woman and brought her to the man.

(Genesis 2:23)  Then the man said, "This at last is bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."

(Genesis 2:24)  Therefore a man shall leave his father and his mother and hold fast to his wife, and they shall become one flesh.

(Genesis 2:25)  And the man and his wife were both naked and were not ashamed.

Note how everything was so perfect at the end of Genesis two. It would not last. Man would disobey God in the very next chapter which would eventually lead to the flood, and other events, such as the coming of the Messiah, Jesus.

Destruction of Sodom

This is set well after the flood, at the time of Abraham. The people in Sodom and the cities were so vile and evil that God actually sent angels, even went Himself to investigate the reports. They first stopped where Abraham lived, then two went on to Sodom where Lot and his family lived. To capture the full story I need to use both Genesis 18 and 19 where they would tell the full story of all the miracles of the destruction but also remind Abraham and his wife of their soon coming son, which was a miracle in of itself, considering how old they were at the time of when they were visited by the angels(God incarnate)

(Genesis 18:1)  And the LORD appeared to him by the oaks of Mamre, as he sat at the door of his tent in the heat of the day.

(Genesis 18:2)  He lifted up his eyes and looked, and behold, three men were standing in front of him. When he saw them, he ran from the tent door to meet them and bowed himself to the earth

(Genesis 18:3)  and said, "O Lord, if I have found favor in your sight, do not pass by your servant.

(Genesis 18:4)  Let a little water be brought, and wash your feet, and rest yourselves under the tree,

(Genesis 18:5)  while I bring a morsel of bread, that you may refresh yourselves, and after that you may pass on--since you have come to your servant." So they said, "Do as you have said."

(Genesis 18:6)  And Abraham went quickly into the tent to Sarah and said, "Quick! Three seahs of fine flour! Knead it, and make cakes."

(Genesis 18:7)  And Abraham ran to the herd and took a calf, tender and good, and gave it to a young man, who prepared it quickly.

(Genesis 18:8)  Then he took curds and milk and the calf that he had prepared, and set it before them. And he stood by them under the tree while they ate.

(Genesis 18:9)  They said to him, "Where is Sarah your wife?" And he said, "She is in the tent."

(Genesis 18:10)  The LORD said, "I will surely return to you about this time next year, and Sarah your wife shall have a son." And Sarah was listening at the tent door behind him.

(Genesis 18:11)  Now Abraham and Sarah were old, advanced in years. The way of women had ceased to be with Sarah.

(Genesis 18:12)  So Sarah laughed to herself, saying, "After I am worn out, and my lord is old, shall I have pleasure?"

(Genesis 18:13)  The LORD said to Abraham, "Why did Sarah laugh and say, 'Shall I indeed bear a child, now that I am old?'

(Genesis 18:14)  Is anything too hard for the LORD? At the appointed time I will return to you, about this time next year, and Sarah shall have a son."

(Genesis 18:15)  But Sarah denied it, saying, "I did not laugh," for she was afraid. He said, "No, but you did laugh."

(Genesis 18:16)  Then the men set out from there, and they looked down toward Sodom. And Abraham went with them to set them on their way.

(Genesis 18:17)  The LORD said, "Shall I hide from Abraham what I am about to do,

(Genesis 18:18)  seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him?

(Genesis 18:19)  For I have chosen him, that he may command his children and his household after him to keep the way of the LORD by doing righteousness and justice, so that the LORD may bring to Abraham what he has promised him."

(Genesis 18:20)  Then the LORD said, "Because the outcry against Sodom and Gomorrah is great and their sin is very grave,

(Genesis 18:21)  I will go down to see whether they have done altogether according to the outcry that has come to me. And if not, I will know."

(Genesis 18:22)  So the men turned from there and went toward Sodom, but Abraham still stood before the LORD.

(Genesis 18:23)  Then Abraham drew near and said, "Will you indeed sweep away the righteous with the wicked?

(Genesis 18:24)  Suppose there are fifty righteous within the city. Will you then sweep away the place and not spare it for the fifty righteous who are in it?

(Genesis 18:25)  Far be it from you to do such a thing, to put the righteous to death with the wicked, so that the righteous fare as the wicked! Far be that from you! Shall not the Judge of all the earth do what is just?"

(Genesis 18:26)  And the LORD said, "If I find at Sodom fifty righteous in the city, I will spare the whole place for their sake."

(Genesis 18:27)  Abraham answered and said, "Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord, I who am but dust and ashes.

(Genesis 18:28)  Suppose five of the fifty righteous are lacking. Will you destroy the whole city for lack of five?" And he said, "I will not destroy it if I find forty-five there."

(Genesis 18:29)  Again he spoke to him and said, "Suppose forty are found there." He answered, "For the sake of forty I will not do it."

(Genesis 18:30)  Then he said, "Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak. Suppose thirty are found there." He answered, "I will not do it, if I find thirty there."

(Genesis 18:31)  He said, "Behold, I have undertaken to speak to the Lord. Suppose twenty are found there." He answered, "For the sake of twenty I will not destroy it."

(Genesis 18:32)  Then he said, "Oh let not the Lord be angry, and I will speak again but this once. Suppose ten are found there." He answered, "For the sake of ten I will not destroy it."

(Genesis 18:33)  And the LORD went his way, when he had finished speaking to Abraham, and Abraham returned to his place.

(Genesis 19:1)  The two angels came to Sodom in the evening, and Lot was sitting in the gate of Sodom. When Lot saw them, he rose to meet them and bowed himself with his face to the earth

(Genesis 19:2)  and said, "My lords, please turn aside to your servant's house and spend the night and wash your feet. Then you may rise up early and go on your way." They said, "No; we will spend the night in the town square."

(Genesis 19:3)  But he pressed them strongly; so they turned aside to him and entered his house. And he made them a feast and baked unleavened bread, and they ate.

(Genesis 19:4)  But before they lay down, the men of the city, the men of Sodom, both young and old, all the people to the last man, surrounded the house.

(Genesis 19:5)  And they called to Lot, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us, that we may know them."

(Genesis 19:6)  Lot went out to the men at the entrance, shut the door after him,

(Genesis 19:7)  and said, "I beg you, my brothers, do not act so wickedly.

(Genesis 19:8)  Behold, I have two daughters who have not known any man. Let me bring them out to you, and do to them as you please. Only do nothing to these men, for they have come under the shelter of my roof."

(Genesis 19:9)  But they said, "Stand back!" And they said, "This fellow came to sojourn, and he has become the judge! Now we will deal worse with you than with them." Then they pressed hard against the man Lot, and drew near to break the door down.

(Genesis 19:10)  But the men reached out their hands and brought Lot into the house with them and shut the door.

(Genesis 19:11)  And they struck with blindness the men who were at the entrance of the house, both small and great, so that they wore themselves out groping for the door.

(Genesis 19:12)  Then the men said to Lot, "Have you anyone else here? Sons-in-law, sons, daughters, or anyone you have in the city, bring them out of the place.

(Genesis 19:13)  For we are about to destroy this place, because the outcry against its people has become great before the LORD, and the LORD has sent us to destroy it."

(Genesis 19:14)  So Lot went out and said to his sons-in-law, who were to marry his daughters, "Up! Get out of this place, for the LORD is about to destroy the city." But he seemed to his sons-in-law to be jesting.

(Genesis 19:15)  As morning dawned, the angels urged Lot, saying, "Up! Take your wife and your two daughters who are here, lest you be swept away in the punishment of the city."

(Genesis 19:16)  But he lingered. So the men seized him and his wife and his two daughters by the hand, the LORD being merciful to him, and they brought him out and set him outside the city.

(Genesis 19:17)  And as they brought them out, one said, "Escape for your life. Do not look back or stop anywhere in the valley. Escape to the hills, lest you be swept away."

(Genesis 19:18)  And Lot said to them, "Oh, no, my lords.

(Genesis 19:19)  Behold, your servant has found favor in your sight, and you have shown me great kindness in saving my life. But I cannot escape to the hills, lest the disaster overtake me and I die.

(Genesis 19:20)  Behold, this city is near enough to flee to, and it is a little one. Let me escape there--is it not a little one?--and my life will be saved!"

(Genesis 19:21)  He said to him, "Behold, I grant you this favor also, that I will not overthrow the city of which you have spoken.

(Genesis 19:22)  Escape there quickly, for I can do nothing till you arrive there." Therefore the name of the city was called Zoar.

(Genesis 19:23)  The sun had risen on the earth when Lot came to Zoar.

(Genesis 19:24)  Then the LORD rained on Sodom and Gomorrah sulfur and fire from the LORD out of heaven.

(Genesis 19:25)  And he overthrew those cities, and all the valley, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and what grew on the ground.

(Genesis 19:26)  But Lot's wife, behind him, looked back, and she became a pillar of salt.

(Genesis 19:27)  And Abraham went early in the morning to the place where he had stood before the LORD.

(Genesis 19:28)  And he looked down toward Sodom and Gomorrah and toward all the land of the valley, and he looked and, behold, the smoke of the land went up like the smoke of a furnace.

(Genesis 19:29)  So it was that, when God destroyed the cities of the valley, God remembered Abraham and sent Lot out of the midst of the overthrow when he overthrew the cities in which Lot had lived.

God was very merciful to move Lot and his family out of the way just before the cities of the plain were destroyed by fire and brimstone, as it was proved that they were the only people who were at all righteous in that area, sadly. The rest of the people were totally evil. He had to take them out by the hand as Lot was very reluctant to do this on his own. Sadly his wife looked back when told to not do that, and instantly became a pillar of salt because of her disobedience.

Red Sea

The next is the story in Exodus 14 of how God would miraculously part the Red Sea enabling all the Israelites to cross it on the suddenly dry land before closing it back up on all of the Egyptians, destroying all of them in the process.

(Exodus 14:1)  Then the LORD said to Moses,

(Exodus 14:2)  "Tell the people of Israel to turn back and encamp in front of Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, in front of Baal-zephon; you shall encamp facing it, by the sea.

(Exodus 14:3)  For Pharaoh will say of the people of Israel, 'They are wandering in the land; the wilderness has shut them in.'

(Exodus 14:4)  And I will harden Pharaoh's heart, and he will pursue them, and I will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, and the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD." And they did so.

(Exodus 14:5)  When the king of Egypt was told that the people had fled, the mind of Pharaoh and his servants was changed toward the people, and they said, "What is this we have done, that we have let Israel go from serving us?"

(Exodus 14:6)  So he made ready his chariot and took his army with him,

(Exodus 14:7)  and took six hundred chosen chariots and all the other chariots of Egypt with officers over all of them.

(Exodus 14:8)  And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued the people of Israel while the people of Israel were going out defiantly.

(Exodus 14:9)  The Egyptians pursued them, all Pharaoh's horses and chariots and his horsemen and his army, and overtook them encamped at the sea, by Pi-hahiroth, in front of Baal-zephon.

(Exodus 14:10)  When Pharaoh drew near, the people of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians were marching after them, and they feared greatly. And the people of Israel cried out to the LORD.

(Exodus 14:11)  They said to Moses, "Is it because there are no graves in Egypt that you have taken us away to die in the wilderness? What have you done to us in bringing us out of Egypt?

(Exodus 14:12)  Is not this what we said to you in Egypt: 'Leave us alone that we may serve the Egyptians'? For it would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than to die in the wilderness."

(Exodus 14:13)  And Moses said to the people, "Fear not, stand firm, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will work for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you shall never see again.

(Exodus 14:14)  The LORD will fight for you, and you have only to be silent."

(Exodus 14:15)  The LORD said to Moses, "Why do you cry to me? Tell the people of Israel to go forward.

(Exodus 14:16)  Lift up your staff, and stretch out your hand over the sea and divide it, that the people of Israel may go through the sea on dry ground.

(Exodus 14:17)  And I will harden the hearts of the Egyptians so that they shall go in after them, and I will get glory over Pharaoh and all his host, his chariots, and his horsemen.

(Exodus 14:18)  And the Egyptians shall know that I am the LORD, when I have gotten glory over Pharaoh, his chariots, and his horsemen."

(Exodus 14:19)  Then the angel of God who was going before the host of Israel moved and went behind them, and the pillar of cloud moved from before them and stood behind them,

(Exodus 14:20)  coming between the host of Egypt and the host of Israel. And there was the cloud and the darkness. And it lit up the night without one coming near the other all night.

(Exodus 14:21)  Then Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the LORD drove the sea back by a strong east wind all night and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided.

(Exodus 14:22)  And the people of Israel went into the midst of the sea on dry ground, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

(Exodus 14:23)  The Egyptians pursued and went in after them into the midst of the sea, all Pharaoh's horses, his chariots, and his horsemen.

(Exodus 14:24)  And in the morning watch the LORD in the pillar of fire and of cloud looked down on the Egyptian forces and threw the Egyptian forces into a panic,

(Exodus 14:25)  clogging their chariot wheels so that they drove heavily. And the Egyptians said, "Let us flee from before Israel, for the LORD fights for them against the Egyptians."

(Exodus 14:26)  Then the LORD said to Moses, "Stretch out your hand over the sea, that the water may come back upon the Egyptians, upon their chariots, and upon their horsemen."

(Exodus 14:27)  So Moses stretched out his hand over the sea, and the sea returned to its normal course when the morning appeared. And as the Egyptians fled into it, the LORD threw the Egyptians into the midst of the sea.

(Exodus 14:28)  The waters returned and covered the chariots and the horsemen; of all the host of Pharaoh that had followed them into the sea, not one of them remained.

(Exodus 14:29)  But the people of Israel walked on dry ground through the sea, the waters being a wall to them on their right hand and on their left.

(Exodus 14:30)  Thus the LORD saved Israel that day from the hand of the Egyptians, and Israel saw the Egyptians dead on the seashore.

(Exodus 14:31)  Israel saw the great power that the LORD used against the Egyptians, so the people feared the LORD, and they believed in the LORD and in his servant Moses.

Birth of Jesus     Matthew 1 Luke 1,2

The birth of Jesus was remarkable for instead of a human father the Holy Spirit is the one who impregnated Mary. Here are different accounts of the pre birth and birth of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. The first is where an angel appeared to Joseph in a dream to tell him to take Mary to be his wife, and of the nature of the child she is pregnant with

(Matthew 1:18)  Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child from the Holy Spirit.

(Matthew 1:19)  And her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly.

(Matthew 1:20)  But as he considered these things, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, "Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary as your wife, for that which is conceived in her is from the Holy Spirit.

(Matthew 1:21)  She will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins."

(Matthew 1:22)  All this took place to fulfill what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:

(Matthew 1:23)  "Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and they shall call his name Immanuel" (which means, God with us).

(Matthew 1:24)  When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him: he took his wife,

(Matthew 1:25)  but knew her not until she had given birth to a son. And he called his name Jesus.

That account is where the angel interacts with Joseph by dream. In Luke one Gabriel speaks with mother Mary about the coming birth of Jesus

(Luke 1:26)  In the sixth month the angel Gabriel was sent from God to a city of Galilee named Nazareth,

(Luke 1:27)  to a virgin betrothed to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David. And the virgin's name was Mary.

(Luke 1:28)  And he came to her and said, "Greetings, O favored one, the Lord is with you!"

(Luke 1:29)  But she was greatly troubled at the saying, and tried to discern what sort of greeting this might be.

(Luke 1:30)  And the angel said to her, "Do not be afraid, Mary, for you have found favor with God.

(Luke 1:31)  And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus.

(Luke 1:32)  He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High. And the Lord God will give to him the throne of his father David,

(Luke 1:33)  and he will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and of his kingdom there will be no end."

(Luke 1:34)  And Mary said to the angel, "How will this be, since I am a virgin?"

(Luke 1:35)  And the angel answered her, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; therefore the child to be born will be called holy--the Son of God.

(Luke 1:36)  And behold, your relative Elizabeth in her old age has also conceived a son, and this is the sixth month with her who was called barren.

(Luke 1:37)  For nothing will be impossible with God."

(Luke 1:38)  And Mary said, "Behold, I am the servant of the Lord; let it be to me according to your word." And the angel departed from her.

And in Luke 2 is the actual birth of Jesus told

(Luke 2:1)  In those days a decree went out from Caesar Augustus that all the world should be registered.

(Luke 2:2)  This was the first registration when Quirinius was governor of Syria.

(Luke 2:3)  And all went to be registered, each to his own town.

(Luke 2:4)  And Joseph also went up from Galilee, from the town of Nazareth, to Judea, to the city of David, which is called Bethlehem, because he was of the house and lineage of David,

(Luke 2:5)  to be registered with Mary, his betrothed, who was with child.

(Luke 2:6)  And while they were there, the time came for her to give birth.

(Luke 2:7)  And she gave birth to her firstborn son and wrapped him in swaddling cloths and laid him in a manger, because there was no place for them in the inn.

(Luke 2:8)  And in the same region there were shepherds out in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

(Luke 2:9)  And an angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were filled with fear.

(Luke 2:10)  And the angel said to them, "Fear not, for behold, I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people.

(Luke 2:11)  For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

(Luke 2:12)  And this will be a sign for you: you will find a baby wrapped in swaddling cloths and lying in a manger."

(Luke 2:13)  And suddenly there was with the angel a multitude of the heavenly host praising God and saying,

(Luke 2:14)  "Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace among those with whom he is pleased!"

(Luke 2:15)  When the angels went away from them into heaven, the shepherds said to one another, "Let us go over to Bethlehem and see this thing that has happened, which the Lord has made known to us."

(Luke 2:16)  And they went with haste and found Mary and Joseph, and the baby lying in a manger.

(Luke 2:17)  And when they saw it, they made known the saying that had been told them concerning this child.

(Luke 2:18)  And all who heard it wondered at what the shepherds told them.

(Luke 2:19)  But Mary treasured up all these things, pondering them in her heart.

(Luke 2:20)  And the shepherds returned, glorifying and praising God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.

Jesus was born, and He lived out all of His life and then fulfilled His main purpose of being on the earth when He willingly went to the cross to die for each and every one of man’s sins, out of love. In fact, it is believed from the water and such that came out when He was pierced and all the other factors, that He died from a broken heart over mankind’s sins and evils and not the crucifixion process itself. He did say He could lay down His life and take it up as He pleased, too. His love for mankind was, and still is that great, for He never changes.

Resurrection of Jesus  Luke 24

This is such an important miracle as it gives us all hope of being resurrected back to life, and eternal life at that, someday (see 1 Corinthians 15 for more on that, it is the resurrection chapter of the bible) but I am going to tell His resurrection and rising from the account given in Luke 24

(Luke 24:1)  But on the first day of the week, at early dawn, they went to the tomb, taking the spices they had prepared.

(Luke 24:2)  And they found the stone rolled away from the tomb,

(Luke 24:3)  but when they went in they did not find the body of the Lord Jesus.

(Luke 24:4)  While they were perplexed about this, behold, two men stood by them in dazzling apparel.

(Luke 24:5)  And as they were frightened and bowed their faces to the ground, the men said to them, "Why do you seek the living among the dead?

(Luke 24:6)  He is not here, but has risen. Remember how he told you, while he was still in Galilee,

(Luke 24:7)  that the Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men and be crucified and on the third day rise."

(Luke 24:8)  And they remembered his words,

(Luke 24:9)  and returning from the tomb they told all these things to the eleven and to all the rest.

(Luke 24:10)  Now it was Mary Magdalene and Joanna and Mary the mother of James and the other women with them who told these things to the apostles,

(Luke 24:11)  but these words seemed to them an idle tale, and they did not believe them.

(Luke 24:12)  But Peter rose and ran to the tomb; stooping and looking in, he saw the linen cloths by themselves; and he went home marveling at what had happened.

(Luke 24:13)  That very day two of them were going to a village named Emmaus, about seven miles from Jerusalem,

(Luke 24:14)  and they were talking with each other about all these things that had happened.

(Luke 24:15)  While they were talking and discussing together, Jesus himself drew near and went with them.

(Luke 24:16)  But their eyes were kept from recognizing him.

(Luke 24:17)  And he said to them, "What is this conversation that you are holding with each other as you walk?" And they stood still, looking sad.

(Luke 24:18)  Then one of them, named Cleopas, answered him, "Are you the only visitor to Jerusalem who does not know the things that have happened there in these days?"

(Luke 24:19)  And he said to them, "What things?" And they said to him, "Concerning Jesus of Nazareth, a man who was a prophet mighty in deed and word before God and all the people,

(Luk 24:20)  and how our chief priests and rulers delivered him up to be condemned to death, and crucified him.

(Luke 24:21)  But we had hoped that he was the one to redeem Israel. Yes, and besides all this, it is now the third day since these things happened.

(Luke 24:22)  Moreover, some women of our company amazed us. They were at the tomb early in the morning,

(Luke 24:23)  and when they did not find his body, they came back saying that they had even seen a vision of angels, who said that he was alive.

(Luke 24:24)  Some of those who were with us went to the tomb and found it just as the women had said, but him they did not see."

(Luke 24:25)  And he said to them, "O foolish ones, and slow of heart to believe all that the prophets have spoken!

(Luke 24:26)  Was it not necessary that the Christ should suffer these things and enter into his glory?"

(Luke 24:27)  And beginning with Moses and all the Prophets, he interpreted to them in all the Scriptures the things concerning himself.

(Luke 24:28)  So they drew near to the village to which they were going. He acted as if he were going farther,

(Luke 24:29)  but they urged him strongly, saying, "Stay with us, for it is toward evening and the day is now far spent." So he went in to stay with them.

(Luke 24:30)  When he was at table with them, he took the bread and blessed and broke it and gave it to them.

(Luke 24:31)  And their eyes were opened, and they recognized him. And he vanished from their sight.

(Luke 24:32)  They said to each other, "Did not our hearts burn within us while he talked to us on the road, while he opened to us the Scriptures?"

(Luke 24:33)  And they rose that same hour and returned to Jerusalem. And they found the eleven and those who were with them gathered together,

(Luke 24:34)  saying, "The Lord has risen indeed, and has appeared to Simon!"

(Luke 24:35)  Then they told what had happened on the road, and how he was known to them in the breaking of the bread.

(Luke 24:36)  As they were talking about these things, Jesus himself stood among them, and said to them, "Peace to you!"

(Luke 24:37)  But they were startled and frightened and thought they saw a spirit.

(Luke 24:38)  And he said to them, "Why are you troubled, and why do doubts arise in your hearts?

(Luke 24:39)  See my hands and my feet, that it is I myself. Touch me, and see. For a spirit does not have flesh and bones as you see that I have."

(Luke 24:40)  And when he had said this, he showed them his hands and his feet.

(Luke 24:41)  And while they still disbelieved for joy and were marveling, he said to them, "Have you anything here to eat?"

(Luke 24:42)  They gave him a piece of broiled fish,

(Luke 24:43)  and he took it and ate before them.

(Luke 24:44)  Then he said to them, "These are my words that I spoke to you while I was still with you, that everything written about me in the Law of Moses and the Prophets and the Psalms must be fulfilled."

(Luke 24:45)  Then he opened their minds to understand the Scriptures,

(Luke 24:46)  and said to them, "Thus it is written, that the Christ should suffer and on the third day rise from the dead,

(Luke 24:47)  and that repentance and forgiveness of sins should be proclaimed in his name to all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

(Luke 24:48)  You are witnesses of these things.

(Luke 24:49)  And behold, I am sending the promise of my Father upon you. But stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high."

(Luke 24:50)  Then he led them out as far as Bethany, and lifting up his hands he blessed them.

(Luke 24:51)  While he blessed them, he parted from them and was carried up into heaven.

(Luke 24:52)  And they worshiped him and returned to Jerusalem with great joy,

(Luke 24:53)  and were continually in the temple blessing God.

Now, as He has been doing ever since His ascension, Jesus constantly intercedes for all mankind with the Father at all times, for His love is great. He wants as many as possible to be saved. He will come  back soon and rapture His bride then there will be the tribulations, then He will return with His bride. See the book of Revelation for all details on this, I strongly recommend reading especially chapters 6 through 18 which deal with the tribulation period, but all 22 are good.

Millennial Kingdom and New Jerusalem.  Revelation 20,21, 22

After the events of chapter 19 which tells of the marriage supper of the lamb, He will lead His bride back to the earth for the battle of Armageddon at the end of chapter 19 and then the Millennial kingdom will start. Chapter 20 deals with the binding of Satan for 1000 years, the Millenial Kingdom, the release of Satan, the last attack of Satan and his followers on the righteous(which is stopped by fire from heaven) and the great white throne judgment.

(Revelation 20:1)  Then I saw an angel coming down from heaven, holding in his hand the key to the bottomless pit and a great chain.

(Revelation 20:2)  And he seized the dragon, that ancient serpent, who is the devil and Satan, and bound him for a thousand years,

(Revelation 20:3)  and threw him into the pit, and shut it and sealed it over him, so that he might not deceive the nations any longer, until the thousand years were ended. After that he must be released for a little while.

(Revelation 20:4)  Then I saw thrones, and seated on them were those to whom the authority to judge was committed. Also I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded for the testimony of Jesus and for the word of God, and those who had not worshiped the beast or its image and had not received its mark on their foreheads or their hands. They came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

(Revelation 20:5)  The rest of the dead did not come to life until the thousand years were ended. This is the first resurrection.

(Revelation 20:6)  Blessed and holy is the one who shares in the first resurrection! Over such the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ, and they will reign with him for a thousand years.

(Revelation 20:7)  And when the thousand years are ended, Satan will be released from his prison

(Revelation 20:8)  and will come out to deceive the nations that are at the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them for battle; their number is like the sand of the sea.

(Revelation 20:9)  And they marched up over the broad plain of the earth and surrounded the camp of the saints and the beloved city, but fire came down from heaven and consumed them,

(Revelation 20:10)  and the devil who had deceived them was thrown into the lake of fire and sulfur where the beast and the false prophet were, and they will be tormented day and night forever and ever.

(Revelation 20:11)  Then I saw a great white throne and him who was seated on it. From his presence earth and sky fled away, and no place was found for them.

(Revelation 20:12)  And I saw the dead, great and small, standing before the throne, and books were opened. Then another book was opened, which is the book of life. And the dead were judged by what was written in the books, according to what they had done.

(Revelation 20:13)  And the sea gave up the dead who were in it, Death and Hades gave up the dead who were in them, and they were judged, each one of them, according to what they had done.

(Revelation 20:14)  Then Death and Hades were thrown into the lake of fire. This is the second death, the lake of fire.

Chapters 21 and 22 of Revelation deal with the New Jerusalem coming and the eternity, with the city of New Jerusalem coming down out of Heaven. It is thoroughly described in detail and then there are closing warnings and encouragements given to the all those who read the book of revelation and its prophecies.

(Rev elation21:1)  Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and the sea was no more.

(Revelation 21:2)  And I saw the holy city, new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband.

(Revelation 21:3)  And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, "Behold, the dwelling place of God is with man. He will dwell with them, and they will be his people, and God himself will be with them as their God.

(Revelation 21:4)  He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away."

(Revelation 21:5)  And he who was seated on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things new." Also he said, "Write this down, for these words are trustworthy and true."

(Revelation 21:6)  And he said to me, "It is done! I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To the thirsty I will give from the spring of the water of life without payment.

(Revelation 21:7)  The one who conquers will have this heritage, and I will be his God and he will be my son.

(Revelation 21:8)  But as for the cowardly, the faithless, the detestable, as for murderers, the sexually immoral, sorcerers, idolaters, and all liars, their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur, which is the second death."

(Revelation 21:9)  Then came one of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues and spoke to me, saying, "Come, I will show you the Bride, the wife of the Lamb."

(Revelation 21:10)  And he carried me away in the Spirit to a great, high mountain, and showed me the holy city Jerusalem coming down out of heaven from God,

(Revelation 21:11)  having the glory of God, its radiance like a most rare jewel, like a jasper, clear as crystal.

(Revelation 21:12)  It had a great, high wall, with twelve gates, and at the gates twelve angels, and on the gates the names of the twelve tribes of the sons of Israel were inscribed--

(Revelation 21:13)  on the east three gates, on the north three gates, on the south three gates, and on the west three gates.

(Revelation 21:14)  And the wall of the city had twelve foundations, and on them were the twelve names of the twelve apostles of the Lamb.

(Revelation 21:15)  And the one who spoke with me had a measuring rod of gold to measure the city and its gates and walls.

(Revelation 21:16)  The city lies foursquare, its length the same as its width. And he measured the city with his rod, 12,000 stadia. Its length and width and height are equal.

(Revelation 21:17)  He also measured its wall, 144 cubits by human measurement, which is also an angel's measurement.

(Revelation 21:18)  The wall was built of jasper, while the city was pure gold, clear as glass.

(Revelation 21:19)  The foundations of the wall of the city were adorned with every kind of jewel. The first was jasper, the second sapphire, the third agate, the fourth emerald,

(Revelation 21:20)  the fifth onyx, the sixth carnelian, the seventh chrysolite, the eighth beryl, the ninth topaz, the tenth chrysoprase, the eleventh jacinth, the twelfth amethyst.

(Revelation 21:21)  And the twelve gates were twelve pearls, each of the gates made of a single pearl, and the street of the city was pure gold, transparent as glass.

(Revelation 21:22)  And I saw no temple in the city, for its temple is the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb.

(Revelation 21:23)  And the city has no need of sun or moon to shine on it, for the glory of God gives it light, and its lamp is the Lamb.

(Revelation 21:24)  By its light will the nations walk, and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it,

(Revelation 21:25)  and its gates will never be shut by day--and there will be no night there.

(Revelation 21:26)  They will bring into it the glory and the honor of the nations.

(Revelation 21:27)  But nothing unclean will ever enter it, nor anyone who does what is detestable or false, but only those who are written in the Lamb's book of life.

(Revelation 22:1)  Then the angel showed me the river of the water of life, bright as crystal, flowing from the throne of God and of the Lamb

(Revelation 22:2)  through the middle of the street of the city; also, on either side of the river, the tree of life with its twelve kinds of fruit, yielding its fruit each month. The leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.

(Rev 22:3)  No longer will there be anything accursed, but the throne of God and of the Lamb will be in it, and his servants will worship him.

(Revelation 22:4)  They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads.

(Rev 22:5)  And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.

(Revelation 22:6)  And he said to me, "These words are trustworthy and true. And the Lord, the God of the spirits of the prophets, has sent his angel to show his servants what must soon take place."

(Revelation 22:7)  "And behold, I am coming soon. Blessed is the one who keeps the words of the prophecy of this book."

(Revelation 22:8)  I, John, am the one who heard and saw these things. And when I heard and saw them, I fell down to worship at the feet of the angel who showed them to me,

(Revelation 22:9)  but he said to me, "You must not do that! I am a fellow servant with you and your brothers the prophets, and with those who keep the words of this book. Worship God."

(Revelation 22:10)  And he said to me, "Do not seal up the words of the prophecy of this book, for the time is near.

(Revelation 22:11)  Let the evildoer still do evil, and the filthy still be filthy, and the righteous still do right, and the holy still be holy."

(Revelation 22:12)  "Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay everyone for what he has done.

(Revelation 22:13)  I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end."

(Revelation 22:14)  Blessed are those who wash their robes, so that they may have the right to the tree of life and that they may enter the city by the gates.

(Revelation 22:15)  Outside are the dogs and sorcerers and the sexually immoral and murderers and idolaters, and everyone who loves and practices falsehood.

(Revelation 22:16)  "I, Jesus, have sent my angel to testify to you about these things for the churches. I am the root and the descendant of David, the bright morning star."

(Revelation 22:17)  The Spirit and the Bride say, "Come." And let the one who hears say, "Come." And let the one who is thirsty come; let the one who desires take the water of life without price.

(Revelation 22:18)  I warn everyone who hears the words of the prophecy of this book: if anyone adds to them, God will add to him the plagues described in this book,

(Revelation 22:19)  and if anyone takes away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God will take away his share in the tree of life and in the holy city, which are described in this book.

(Revelation 22:20)  He who testifies to these things says, "Surely I am coming soon." Amen. Come, Lord Jesus!

(Revelation 22:21)  The grace of the Lord Jesus be with all. Amen.

As said at the end of the bible many will say come, Lord Jesus. Many I sense indeed are indeed saying “come”. This again is because of how the people have become today. We are all waiting the rapture, which will precede all the events described in the chapters of Revelation. It is a miraculous event, too as so many people will just instantly vanish, going to Heaven to be with the Lord, while chaos and tribulation await those who miss the rapture and find themselves left behind. I strongly advise all who read this to pray that by the Lord’s mercy and grace they are all counted worthy to escape all the chaos and destruction which will follow the rapture. Please continue reading below for more.

Rapture

THE RAPTURE IS IMMINENT!!! ARE YOU READY????

I am very strongly led to believe the rapture is very imminent, and could happen any day at anytime at all. Nobody knows the exact time for the rapture but the Father God Himself. I cannot strongly enough advise all of you to get your hearts right with Jesus by asking the Holy Spirit to reveal to you if there is any Sin /iniquity/ uncleanness in your heart, mind etc and repenting of any and all items brought to your mind right away, asking the Holy Spirit to cleanse you and your garments so that they are spotless, being washed by the blood of Jesus. I am a man, needing the blood of Jesus for cleansing as much as everyone else, and believe me I am doing the same thing. This repenting is a continuous process, not just a one time thing; I have found that I myself have been repenting several times throughout the day. I know that it will be God's grace and mercy ONLY that I make the rapture, not anything I do, I am well aware of the fact that grace alone being what saves, and not works lest any should boast, but also faith without works is dead so I am sharing this with everyone, in the hopes that a few, even just one person, would wake up in time, and repent, for the remaining time here is very short.

I post and share this document for I deeply care for people and DO NOT want anyone to miss the rapture and find themselves left behind to face the 7 year tribulations which will follow the rapture which will be pure a horrific time on earth, the most horrific ever, in fact, where you will have to hide in caves or in mountains, away from all the evil and very selfish people, be an absolute survival expert, which many are not and absolutely refuse at all costs to take the mark of the beast(666).As a result of your refusal to take this mark, you won’t be able to buy or sell anything, work, eat, live in a normal way, and so on, and most likely you’ll be killed for it, but that is far better than taking the mark and ending up in the lake of fire for eternity, as each and every man and woman  who take the mark of the beast will end up in the lake of fire, where there will be absolutely no rest from their torment night or day(Revelation 14).  Even doing all the precautions, hiding by getting away from all population centers and into the mountains, and so on may not be enough because many if not most people, in fact will not survive the judgments that God will pour out on the world in this time period, in the seal, trumpet and bowl judgments as well as the judgment and destruction of the daughter of Babylon. All these events are described in good detail in the book of Revelation in chapters 6 through 18, which I strongly advise all to read. Here is a link an excellent animated video of the entire book of revelation for you to watch

The tribulation period of seven years absolutely will make today's evil world seem like life in paradise by comparison. I very strongly suggest reading the book of Revelation chapters 6 through 18 which tell you specifically what sort of events and judgments the world will see during this tribulation period.

Here are some rapture related scriptures:

(1 Corinthians 15:51) Behold, I shew you a mystery; We shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed,

(1 Corinthians 15:52) In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed.

(1Thessolonians 4:16) For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:

(1Thessolonians 4:17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

God wants to keep us from this tribulation by His love and mercy Because thou has kept the word of my patience, I ALSO WILL KEEP THEE FROM THE HOUR OF TEMPTATION, which shall come upon all the world, to try them that dwell upon the earth."  The implication of this verse is obvious:  If the end-time Christian does NOT stay close to the Lord and endure to the end, HE WILL NOT BE KEPT FROM THE TRIBULATION HOUR Revelation 3 verse 10, so it is IMPERATIVE to stay close to the Lord in these last days.

Now I have a very special warning message to all those who are lukewarm Christians to repent of this condition and to be on fire for Jesus or Jesus will surely spit you out of the rapture(see verse 16, below) and you will go through the seven year tribulation as it says in Revelation 3 14-22. There are FAR TOO MANY are in this condition the Holy Spirit warned me this AM. There are FAR TOO MANY LAODICEANS today. Please REPENT NOW of your lukewarmness and be on fire for the Lord before it is too late and you miss the rapture as a result of your being lukewarm!! Here are the verses in Revelation chapter 3 concerning the Laodicean church:

(Revelation 3:14) And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God;

(Revelation 3:15) I know thy works, that thou art neither cold nor hot: I would thou wert cold or hot.

(Revelation 3:16) So then because thou art lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spue thee out of my mouth.

(Revelation 3:17) Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked:

(Revelation 3:18) I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see.

(Revelation 3:19) As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: be zealous therefore, and repent.

(Revelation 3:20) Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

(Revelation 3:21) To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.

(Revelation 3:22) He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.

Summarizing, you MUST all be ready for this coming rapture, AND be on FIRE for Jesus, and not be at all lukewarm but loving Jesus with ALL Your heart, mind and soul as commanded in the bible, in several places in both the old and new testaments. If in case you need to receive the Lord please pray the following prayer (backsliders can also use this prayer to repent of their sin and lukewarmness and recommit their lives, and return to their first love, Jesus. Please do so NOW before it is too late)

Dear God in heaven, I come to you in the name of Jesus. I acknowledge to You that I am a sinner, and I am sorry for my sins and the life that I have lived; I need your forgiveness. I believe that your only begotten Son Jesus Christ shed His precious blood on the cross at Calvary and died for my sins, and I am now willing to turn from my sin. You said in Your Holy Word, Romans 10:9 that if we confess Jesus as our Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Jesus from the dead, we will be saved. Right now I confess Jesus as the Lord of my soul. With my heart, I believe that God raised Jesus from the dead. This very moment I accept Jesus Christ as my own personal Savior and according to His Word, right now I am saved. Thank you Jesus for your unlimited grace which has saved me from my sins. I thank you Jesus that your grace never leads to license, but rather it always leads to repentance. Therefore Lord Jesus transform my life so that I may bring glory and honor to you alone and not to myself. Thank you Jesus for dying for me and giving me eternal life.

Amen.

Here are 10 steps that can be of help to be ready for the soon to come rapture:

1. Make sure that you have received Jesus Christ into your life as your PERSONAL Lord and Savior(see the salvation prayer above and use it if need be).

2. Examine your own heart for any signs of backsliding, worldliness, unwatchfulness, compromising, and lukewarmness.

3. REPENT (Turn COMPLETELY away from sin and turn COMPLETELY around towards Jesus).  Sin separates you from God, even as a Christian.

4. Study end-time Biblical prophecy(Daniel 7-12, Matthew 24, Mark 13, Luke 17, 21, 1 Corinthians 15, 1 Thessolonians 4 and 5, other placesd but the  book of Revelation in particular)  until you become completely convinced that His Coming is, indeed, AT THE DOOR.  This will help keep you from temptation and sin.  JESUS IS COMING VERY SOON!!! Lord help me be absolutely convinced YOU ARE at the door!!!!!

5. Do something for the Lord.  (Passing out tracts would be a good start.)

6. Examine your priorities, lest the CARES OF THIS LIFE cause YOU to MISS THE RAPTURE, as we are so adamantly WARNED about in Luke 21, and so many other Scriptures.

7. Draw closer to God by praying, reading His Word, attending a fundamental church as often as possible, and surround yourself with a Christian atmosphere (Christian friends, books, music, radio, TV, etc.)

8. PRAY DILIGENTLY.  ASK THE LORD TO REVEAL TO YOU ANYTHING IN YOUR LIFE THAT EVEN MIGHT KEEP YOU FROM THE RAPTURE.  PRAY THAT THE LORD WOULD GIVE YOU A PEACE, IF YOU ARE READY, AND AN UNREST AND UNEASINESS IN YOUR HEART, IF YOU ARE NOT READY.

9. Listen for His voice and then STAY OPEN TO THE LEADING OF THE HOLY SPIRIT.

10. Act upon that which the Lord is calling you to do. DO IT NOW BEFORE IT IS TOO LATE!

Please also pray and ask the Lord Jesus to see if you are indeed ready and to give you peace if you and If the Lord has planted even the least bit of doubt or uneasiness in your heart, will you swallow your pride and pray this prayer with me:

"Dear Lord, Thank you for preparing a WAY OF ESCAPE from the horrible Tribulation to come.  It is my sincere desire to be ready for your Soon Return, so that I can participate in the Rapture. Give me a COMPLETE PEACE IN MY HEART FROM YOU if I am, indeed, ready. Let there be no false sense of security in my heart concerning my readiness for Your Return.  Begin to reveal to me things in my life and in my heart that might keep me from the Rapture.  Show me what I need to do to BE READY and then give me the power to act upon that which you show me to do.  Draw me away from the world and closer to you every day.  Use me in whatever way you can to help others

who may not be ready for your Return.  Fill me with your peace when I am ready and fill me with YOUR POWER, for victory over sin and temptation, and for effective service for your kingdom.  In Jesus' mighty name, Amen

If, by an unfortunate chance, you are finding yourself reading this testimony after the rapture has happened, and you find that you have missed it, everything is not lost by any means, just please pray immediately to accept the Lord Jesus as savior and /or recommit your life to Him, repenting of anything  and everything that you have done that has caused you to miss the rapture, especially such things as being lukewarm and whatever else you may do during that time absolutely DO NOT TAKE THE MARK OF THE BEAST OR YOU WILL SPEND ETERNITY IN THE LAKE OF FIRE!!!!!(taking the mark of the beast means you are essentially married to Satan, the antichrist, the beast and false prophet,  ALL OF WHOM ARE DESTINED FOR THE LAKE OF FIRE, AS ARE ALL WHO TAKE THEIR MARK ON THEIR FOREHEAD OR HAND). IT IS NOT AT ALL FORGIVABLE TO TAKE THIS MARK- so again you must avoid taking this mark AT ALL COSTS you won’t be able to buy, sell, work, and so on, you will have to hide, living in the forest and away from civilization, face jail, torture, and be executed for refusing the mark. If you do die for refusing to take the mark of the beast, if you are Jesus’ you will go to heaven immediately as a tribulation saint and martyr spoken of in the book of revelation. I cannot strongly stress the point enough to NEVER, EVER accept the mark of the beast, no matter what!!!! It will be well worth it to lose everything and everyone in this world, including your life so as  to not have to spend all eternity in hell and the lake of fire, where again there will be never any rest on your torment day or night.
